Best meal I’ve had in the Caribbean! Great wine paring, was a little heavy on the white wines but that was a nice change in pace and reflected the food better. After dinner we had a private tour of the wine cellar and had had some cigars hand rolled for us. Will definitely go back on our next Bahamas trip!

This review is strictly for the restaurant, and not the hotel. The hotel — is great! But my experience with this restaurant is questioning my decision on if I should have stayed at this hotel in the first place. Also, it’s for the place in Bahamas(which the other review seems to be for too), and not the address in NY that’s listed here. _____ It’s our last night at the Bahamas, we had a wonderful time relaxing and doing yoga today, and after lots of good local food — we decided to wine down at the Graycliff Restaurant since we were staying here. We made reservations for 9PM, and decided to have some wine and desserts to end our last night. Our server was super nice to us in the beginning, and we had 3 different servers come to us and were super sweet at first. We then let them know that we would just be getting desserts so there was no need for butter with their complimentary bread. Suddenly, their attitudes changed completely. We literally saw the server, Jamaal, frown at us and then tell his fellow colleagues that we are only ordering desserts. He did not smile at us for the entire daunting 1.5 hours we had to tolerate sitting in that restaurant. We ordered two glasses of wine, and three types of desserts. Our two souffles and guava duff took ONEENTIREHOUR to be brought to us. The two families next to us ordered desserts after us and got their desserts before us. My mom asked to see the different teas offered, and after being reminded about this — they still took 15 minutes to bring this for us. Maybe us Californians are just really stingy. But you know what — we spent our time and money on this restaurant. Specifically, we spent $ 111 for very poor customer service –of course, an 18% gratuity was added beforehand– and okay food(I personally liked the much cheaper guava duff I got from a small nearby shack compared to this crystallized sugar junk. But OK fine — I’ll admit it, the mousse was heavenly). Anyways, Jamaal thought we were a waste of his time and did not hesitate to show this to us. I’ll stick to getting my two buck chuck wine bottles from Trader Joe’s wine over dealing with the pretentious and beyond rude service from this place. At least the lady who gives out free samples there smiles at me.

The best French restaurant in the Bahamas. We ordered their tasting menu which was $ 195 a person for 8 courses. My favorite course was the dumpling appetizer which i never tasted anywhere else. The service was incredible and we were served by 6 very courteous wait staff. Their wine recommendations were exceptionally good. After spending 3 hours there, our night became extra special!
