Medina Leida

Leida Medina has been my doctor for more than 20 years. I met her by chance when my sister was hospitalized in Glen Cove and I was impressed with her professional and warm demeanor. Subsequent to that successful treatment I made an appointment… might be the most valuable medical decision of my life. Dr. Medina is warm, present, empathetic… delivered my son… kept me in the loop every step of the way… years later gives good advice with regard to my health AND his. She is completely lovely, competent and warm. Her practice as well. Inclusive and accepting.

Worst dr appointment I’ve ever experienced. Staff was rude and literally made me stand with pee in hand until finished personal conversations. Doctor was VERY rough and refused to give paper prescription. Everything with office is done via fax and snail mail. Not to mention one of the tools in the exam room was labeled «not for use on humans»!!! I wouldn’t recommend even my worst enemy go here.

One of the best doctors offices I have been to!
When I schedule an appointment for any doctor, I usually allot myself an hour and a half, between finding a parking a spot, waiting in the waiting room, waiting in the patient room, visit from the nurse, waiting some more, and then finally a consult with the doctor. Not here!
Even when they are busy, you are in and out within 30 minutes! The receptionists are very friendly, and they usher you back with the nurse that takes a quick set of vitals. She is very kind, and just talks up a storm :) Afterwards you are brought straight to your room, and within 5 minutes Dr Medina shows up!
She does her thing, helps out with any questions that you may have, and is very compassionate. You can tell she really has a passion for her job.
I would definitely recommend Dr Medina and her office!
