As somebody who previously worked in hospitals before retiring, I have sometimes even lose faith in healthcare based on the way physicians treat patients sometimes. However, after years of dealing with physicians for my two elderly parents who made me feel like they wanted me to constantly run around and refer out to others for minor issues and added disorganization of my life, I came across Dr. Raber.
On the surface, the practice might look small but without a doubt it is one of the most efficient and well managed offices thanks to Phyllis. If you need something or have a question she does not beat around the bush, she gives you a straight answer and clearly tells you what you need to do with your insurances/​payment plans. You can tell right off the bat she’s a veteran in the field and the type of person you need to help you navigate healthcare reform.
Dr. Raber will then take the time to help you and get to you. He helped diagnose and looked at issues that other physicians simply ignored. My father had a medical issue that not one physician ever diagnosed in the past. My dad got an EKG on the spot and he helped walk me through the reasons why he was on his medications and even took some that had some bad side effects. He cared about his overall quality of life and to me that reflects a good physician and person. The efficiency of diagnosis and delivery of his practice is unparalleled to anything I have seen before. He does not waste time and helped me answered my questions with such intelligence and thought and breaks it down to simple terms.
Bottom line, If you are looking for doctor who treats you like a person and this is the place to go!

Dr Raber is an excellent choice.
I feel quite lucky to have found him.
He takes the time to discuss the issue at hand and has insightful and reasonable diagnoses.
He will tell you if something needs attention and most importantly if it does not.
In sharp contrast to the staff in many medical offices, Phyllis is organized, very knowledgable and incredibly nice.

Dr. Raber is by far the most caring internal medicine doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He takes his time when treating you. Unlike other doctors who make you feel like you are on a conveyor belt and being pushed through an assembly line.
I have been seeing him for over year now and you never makes me wait more than a couple minutes in the waiting room. To me this is incredible!!!
I highly suggest him to anyone who is looking for a very thorough family doctor.
