This store was okay. I stopped by for a quick look around on a weekday. The woman at the desk greeted me then went back to work on what seemed to be researching items in an antique book. The store is very nice and not overly cluttered like many antique stores. I could tell right away that this was not the store for me though. First, the prices are high. That may be what items are worth but I am just not looking for a $ 500 cast iron door stop. Second, the items are mostly folk art and early Americana(think quilts, farm house items, painted furniture, etc). This is just not my style and so I didn’t really find anything that interested me. I would say that this a good store overall, seems well curated, but be prepared to pay higher prices(this is no flee market).

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Glen Ellyn, IL
A rare antiques shop in the heart of Glen Ellyn– one that carries genuine antiques– guaranteed to be as represented. So refreshing compared to most other shops. Worth a trip just to see it. The proprietors are experienced, educated and happy to share their knowledge with visitors. What a pleasant surprise.
