Right next to the train station. Small eat in area but has good food with large portions for a fair price!

Best gyro on Long Island. Coming from Queens and being Greek I know a thing or two about our food. The food here is excellent and fairly priced. Thank you for a great fast food Greek spot with quality food and good luck on your upcoming opening in Manhasset!

Exactly what glen head needed. Tasty, fresh pitas and salads. Quick and convenient location. My favorite is the chicken gyro platter. We have added this to our rotation. Always solid

Terrific. So glad we have a a GREAT choice for delivery or take out here. Delicious, clean food cooked to perfection. We order at LEAST once per week and will continue to do so.

Good food, but it took a while to get my food .It was not expensive, so it payed off for the wait to get my food. I ordered a gyro it was poorly wrapped so it was hard to eat and keeps on falling apart .I liked it enough that I would order from them again, but maybe a different meal.

It’s this little storefront by a train station that we passed for months. I noticed a sign that they made Gyros and thought maybe try that place someday. We were in a lunch rut and decided to give it a go. And what a pleasant surprise. The food in this little hole in the wall is Amazing. Awesome Gyros and platters. We have added this place to our lunch schedule.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. This little place makes the best Gyros on Long Island

Great gyro with perfect yogurt sauce! Very fresh and reasonable prices. I will go back!
Update — I just went back! And the food was just as good the second time around. And people are really really nice. So glad this place is here and really affordable!

Amazing authentic Greek food. Chicken souvlaki was fresh and the best I’ve had. Best tzatziki sauce, creamy thick and delicious. Lemon potatoes were fantastic. Clean and amazing service so glad I found his little gem!

This is my first time and the Food came out super quick! I ordered the chicken platter. It was very tasty. I would definitely go back for that. I would never eat in there again. I ate one meal in and took one to go. While I was eating literally 6 flies kept flying over and sitting on my food and on my legs and arms. They just wouldn’t leave me alone. I got so annoyed half way through from swatting them away that I almost left half way through. The food was good so I give it a 5 but a 3 for the fact I couldn’t stand swatting flies the whole time

Just had a Chicken Gyro on a pita and it was absolutely delicious. I grew up in Astoria and ate plenty of Greek food and this place is up there on my list of favorites. Definitely my new «go to» place in the neighborhood…

I bought a falafel sándwich (I thought that it was going to come inside the pita but they just folded it instead like a gyro). Not impressed. The onion was cut too big as was the tomato, and the falafel balls weren’t right either. They tasted fine but they must have been under cooked because they were mush on the inside almost like grainy hummus. There were no toppings which was a little strange because usually when I go buy falafel in other places there are toppings. When I asked about it the employee gave me a blank look and asked another employee if there was anything I could put on it to which the answer was just tzatziki sauce. They both seemed confused as to why I would want anything extra on my sándwich.
As a person who has had this type of food in Astoria and Manhattan, I’m not coming back.

Tried this place because of a recommendation and it wasn’t too far from the bf. I got the pork gyro thinking I could handle a little bit of grease despite previous Unilocalers reviews. I was not expecting it to be so greasy that it was soaking through the bag. The bf got the pork souvlaki and the pieces were hard. It might not have been so bad if it weren’t for the grease but it didn’t make me come back.

I’ve been to pita station dozen times very consistent very good from the donor gyro to the French fries everything is delicious can’t wait for the outdoor seating.

Just discovered this place this evening. Glad I did. Hand down one of the better gyro spots in nassau. Wasn’t disappointed. Pork gyro and fries was pretty damn good.

We got take out from here. The gyro wasn’t very good, very fatty pieces of meat, disappointed. The falafel appetizer was good, will stick with that. The souvlaki was good as well. We will try it again.

I’ll preface by saying I really wanted Pita Station to succeed. God knows glen head needs some more variety in the culinary department. Ordered from here five times, and five times my order was wrong. I know, I know… «Fool me once», but the owner reached out to me through Unilocal several times to excuse them and keep trying and despite him coming off rather smug, keep trying I did. Every single time, my order is wrong. There is simply NO way that this is only happening to me, I mean, even a broken watch is right twice a day!
I would like to say the food is good, and several menu items are, but overall I’d say mediocre would be a better assessment. Certainly not good enough to forgive the repeated incompetence. Sadly, I’m going back to ordering from Roslyn, very done with pita station.
Update in response to owners comments (1÷27÷15) — your complete lack of understanding of my complaints equates perfectly to the consistent missing/​incorrect orders– it’s quite clear you just don’t get it. Never once did I complain about the temperature of the food (must be confusing me with another unsatisfied customer). Missing feta cheese on salads and them coming consistently without dressing… You betcha! How does one eat a Greek salad without either of those items? Never once did you offer to send a new salad, or replace the items, You constantly sent messages through here to me and I took the time to respond each and every time. You kept telling me to «try again» and you’d «improve». You haven’t.

Second visit here was much better. Last time I had the pork gyro which was way to fatty. Today had the chicken and beef gyro. Side salad and everything was very good. Feel much better after my 2^nd visit. Great value and fresh food.

This place is great. Have eaten here twice since they opened not too long ago. Food is great and authentic. Staff is helpful and really nice. Its better to call and have the order ready – sometimes they get really crowded and busy. No place to really sit in there and eat, this is a strictly take out or delivery place but it could easily be a real restaurant if they had a bigger location. My family and I have tried almost everything on the menu and so far, they have not disappointed at all!!!

Just tried Pita Station for the first time last night and I must say, I am impressed. Coming from Astoria Queens, I have tried my fair share of gyros and Greek food and this place will not disappoint.
I would mainly suggest them for delivery or take out unless you want to sit right outside watching the LIRR.
I can def say, service is great, and the food is tasty. Seems like they may get busy but can’t fault them for that if they can still provide quality.
