Due to the 4th holiday, the place was empty so plenty of time to make good food. For the most part the meals were okay. My saltimboca was good except it didn’t really taste like saltimboca. It had a dark sauce on it, very little prosciutto all on top of pasta. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t typical. My veal was cooked right which is normally the most difficult part. My son had chicken parm and part was good and part was rubbery. They don’t have dark and stormy or hard root beer so without alcohol, the meal was pricier than I expected. Overall not a bad meal but not on top of my list to return.

I got to try Pescatores with a group of 24 people, so I’m not going to talk too much about the staffing and service we received since I don’t think you can really get a sense of that sort of stuff when you have a group so large. It was clear that the waitresses were stressed out, but I don’t blame them given the number of people we had. The first thing I got to try was the oil and vinegar dipping sauce for the bread they put out on the table. I think the oil also had some bruschetta in it, so you’d occasionally get a bite of onion or tomato with your bread. It was deeeelicious! The serving sizes of our entrees were huge, and I left a whole chicken breast on my plate of chicken piccata. Even some of the men at our table left stuff on their plates, which says a lot about the amount of food they serve you. Overall this was a perfectly fine meal. There was nothing remarkable or special about anything I ate, but everyone left full and content.

Well, this isn’t even close to as good as the Pescatore on MainLine. After asking for bread twice, we gave up. Like some other people on here the service is a bit uneven, but the food is ok. It’s pretty much standard Italian fare with nothing great and nothing bad. Don’t get the wine list pricing, but I guess we would go back for lunch but not dinner.

Good food but table mixup. No bread. Good service but slow.

My husband and I have driven past this restaurant hundreds of times and always commented how packed the parking lot was and that we have to try it one day. Well the day or should I say night was last night. It is not fancy at all but very laid back and casual which is exactly what I was hoping for. We started off with the grilled calamari in a spicy red sauce… delicious! Then I had linguini ala pescatore… so good and lots of pasta and seafood! I took ½ of it home. My husband got a spicy shrimp dish with pasta… if he could he would have lucked the bowl clean! Our service was great and we will definitely be returning!!! Love this place :)

The food is not bad but the service is just bizarre. Seems no one knows what’s going on. The waiters kept bringing over food to the wrong tables. I felt bad for them but why don’t they know what dishes go to which table? It kept happening. Also, every single glass of wine on the menu is $ 12??? Nothing less than $ 12 and each bottle is over $ 40. That seems ridiculous to me. This is not an upscale restaurant. Better restaurants even have a $ 7 – 8 glass of wine on their menus. I’ve been here twice because the food is good. But I’m realizing the prices and the service can be beat almost anywhere. Lastly, the noise level is outrageous. Absolutely cannot hear each other over the noise. I’m not sure how that can be resolved though.

Our time here has been not so great so far. We arrived here at 6:20, sat down, and waited about 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table to take our order. 10 minutes later we got our drinks. 10 minutes after that he took down our orders and we didn’t get our appetizers till around 7:30. Now I’m not sure if this is a regular thing here but it is kind of making me and my family a little annoyed. This restaurant isn’t big and it looks as though other customers have been waiting like we are. We have yet to try the food but even if the food is good I don’t appreciate this service. There are plenty of waiters. It’s not like we ordered a lot of food so it shouldn’t be that difficult to make a couple plates of food. I do not recommend this place at all. If you like it then this wait is for you, but waiting over an hour and a half for my dinner is not for me.

Food was good but way too expensive for a strip center restaurant that had a very average atmosphere. Our table was sticky and water glasses not clean. Asked for ketchup for my sons chicken fingers and that never appeared. Had to get up and track someone down. Probably won’t go back.

Second time with a bad experience. This time we went because they advertised on the sign in front all you can eat crab legs for $ 30. When we arrived we were told they were 45. Server was slow and somewhat surely. Last time we will go there.

Not very good at all. Over cooked pasta served with canned crab meat and 3 very small shrimp. Waited on by the bar tender even though we sat in the main dinning room. She was lost. Guy with a company shirt came up and asked how was dinner. We said just ok. He said GREAT and moved on. We were there in a groupon and it’s another example of a restaurant trying to use Groupon to save them. That and it cost 68 bucks for 2 with 1 drink each. Crazy expensive for that mess.

Four of us went due to groupon deal. It had a good menu with large portions. Excellent service. The bruschetta was awesome! The Vincenzo seafood plate was full of scallops, shrimp and crab with excellent flavor. It was a sea of love. The flounder French and chicken French were both large portions and cooked perfectly. The manager was kind about our groupon and glad to have us in. Two of our group had soup and dessert as well. The lobster bisque was excellent with lots of lobster. The Italian wedding soup was good but not great. I expected mini meatballs, but it was ground turkey. The cheesecake and chocolate molten cake are homemade and incredible! Overall, excellent food, atmosphere, and service. We will be returning!

Very very good meal, we expected very average being it was New Years Eve. We had an amazing waitress, the food was tasty and the manager Lou gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine. He is the reason we will go back. Awesome manager and made our experience with every penny!!! Definitely would recommend this place!!!

Server was pleasant — we actually felt bad for her because the food was awful — not her fault! Kids said spaghetti tasted like dish water… and it DID! Gross. My husband and I ordered surf and turf and were very disappointed. We ordered our steak medium temperature but when it arrived it was easily medium well if not well done, tough and flavorless. Lobster was also over-cooked. Won’t be back!

This place is AMAZING! Went here on a groupon and was extremely satisfied. Rene was an excellent server, and the food was slaaaaammin. Started w/drinks and bruschetta. Hefty wine pours and the best bruschetta ive ever had. The bread was crusty and garlicky and sooo good. I had chx marsala and my boyfriend had chx parm, both out of this world. Tons of mushrooms and the marsala sauce was creamy and flavorful. For dessert had a cannoli. The ricotta cream filling was the beat ive ever had! Will definitely be back to this place!

Came here for an easy Black Friday dinner. It was delicious and easy, for us and our kids. Only small complaint was that we must have had a new waiter– very friendly and attentive but never mentioned any specials and had to ask for a wine list. After we had already ordered we heard the specials announced to the next table over. Oh well… We enjoyed the regular menu and it served its purpose!

Went there because of a living social coupon. Service was good, but food was just o.k. Pasta was overcooked. Wine pour could have been heavier given the price.

I liked the fact that a check in on Unilocal got me an order of tasty bruschetta. Walked into the bar and there was only one couple sitting there previously. The bartender was ok. Had the pineapple infused vodka on the special happy hour menu(Big Fish down the street is a dollar less and theirs is tastier). Ordered the pasta fazoole soup — it was good. The Caesar salad disappointed — expected more at a place in the upper level Italian restaurant class. The shrimp fra diavilo platter was HUGE. Easily a pound of linguine. 6 huge shrimp. The sauce was just ok. I’ll be back with my lady to try it. The restaurant wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great. It was ok. Especially since Guiseppi is not far away and it’s a BYOB. They do Italian better than anyone In my area. Still, Pescatores did enough right to warrant a visit again.

I love their food(lobster diavlo and classic Caesar salad) and classical art in the private dining room. My only pet peeve is when I tried to plan a dinner party for 100, the manager never followed up and was hard to get ahold of when I tried to call them back; I was put on hold for 5 minutes after the phone rang for a long period. No phone call back.

I have to rate this place low because while the food had good flavor and seasoning(except my Chilean sea bass) everything we ordered was over cooked, shrimp, salmon, steak. The side order of crab risotto was AWESOME. I would go back for that alone. The bread they give you is awful and my bass was soaked with butter and had no flavor. Waiter was nice but slow. Friendly staff. With some important tweeks this place could be brilliant.

My mom and I were driving back from DC and craving pasta. We pass Pescatore’s on our way home, but we have never eaten here, so we decided to go for it and called in a take-out order. I ordered the Gnocchi Gabriella and just plain gnocchi in a blush cream sauce. Prices aren’t on their online menu, but both came to about $ 36, which seemed expensive to me. When I went to pick up the food, I checked out the dining room, and it felt a little bit like a chain. I think because it felt like there were so many tables, and the décor was trying too hard– it didn’t feel intimate at all. When I carried the food out to the car– two pasta dishes and a hunk of bread– it felt ridiculously heavy. Like, really heavy. I was trying to figure out how it could weigh so much, and when we opened it up, we realized why– huge portion combined with about 40 pounds of sauce. The gnocchi themselves were pretty good, and hit the spot. However, the sauce was just too much. I scooped out an entire bowl-full of sauce, and there was still sauce left to dip the bread into. The sauce was really heavy, and sat a little bit weirdly in my stomach. There were also chunky things in the sauce that I couldn’t quite identify. Both my mother and father agreed– my dad took leftovers for lunch, and the first thing he said when he came home was: «it was really heavy». However, the bread was fantastic– two thumbs up. I’m not sure we’ll ever be back, but it did satisfy our pasta craving. Their gnocchi and bread were good– I think if they had the option to order smaller portions, and lightened up their«blush cream» sauce to a nice, plain rose sauce, it would have been a perfect meal.
