Wait time was crazy long at our original steakhouse destination next door so we walked right in to Bertuccis and were pleasantly surprised at only a 15 minute wait time. Our waitress was nice very attentive. My drink, Long Island Iced Tea was horrible. Way too much liquor, it almost seemed to be a straight shot. I ordered the steak, medium. It came back rare. Waitress was very apologetic and took it right back and had it out in 7 minutes. This time perfect, tasted amazing. Wife got Alfredo pasta and loved it as always at this place. I’d give waitress a 5 star, food quality a 4 star, overall a 3 star.

My review has nothing to do with the food, menu or server, which were all fine on our last visit, about 9pm Saturday night. What struck me was how dirty everything was. Both entry mats were crooked, which was a sign of what was to come. The dining room carpet was filthy and so was the ladies room, with overflowing garbage, and soap everywhere. Even the mirror looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time so it’s unlikely that it was an isolated event as a result of a busy night. I want to love this neighborhood place, but if the«easy» housekeeping is so deficient, I wonder how good they are at the hard stuff like food safety.

I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but Bertucci’s is OK to me. You’ll get a large portion of average food for a good price. You also get complimentary salad and rolls for the table, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. I’m assuming part of the appeal is to fill up on bread and salad and then take home most of your entrée, but maybe that’s just me! Our server, Alex, was very courteous and gave us overall great service. He was very aware of our table during the entire meal and very prompt with drink refills etc. I had the Shrimp Risotto which was pretty good. The risotto was very rich and hearty, just as a risotto should be. It is served with asparagus, artichoke hearts and tomatoes. Surprisingly, it had a bit of a kick to it which was surprising to me. It was just a tad hotter than I would have liked, although I am a HUGE baby when it comes to spicy food, so your average eater may not have even noticed. Other entrees ordered were the Chicken Parm(even lunch portion was a good size), the Shrimp Rossini and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. All were enjoyed. For our family of 4, the bill was under $ 80, so it’s a pretty good deal if you are looking to go out to eat on a budget.

The food here is OK. Not good, not bad. If you try to order online, you can’t do so as a guest. You have to give all of your personal information. If if you try to order take out by phone, they blast horrible hold music at you, probably to get you to hang-up and order online. The easiest thing to do is to call Enzo’s Italian Eatery for take out. They pick up the phone, take your order, and tell you when it will be ready. Yum!

I’m not a restaurateur r, but you can tell a restaurant that’s under bad management. The employees all seem unhappy, the plants were not watered, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, drinks were not offered twice, water was never served, Bread was not refilled, everything is rather glum. We actually felt sad inside. There is a subtle although real difference between employees who go home at the end of the night and say we ‘did a great job tonight, everyone had a good time’, and employees who go home at the end of the night saying ‘at least I got through that’, and the difference is management. I got the farmhouse salad — it was OK — actually pretty good, after I got the extra dressing. My boyfriend got angel hair pasta, the chicken scampi which I thought was yummy, but he said the pasta was overcooked. All in all, I don’t think we will return especially because we have a Carrabas about a mile and a half past this place.

We went here with family on Wed night. The host greeted us with a smile, kids treated to dough and quickly served. Meals were done as asked and delish!

Super average. Called ahead table for 5, they had a table for 4. Long wait, but expected on a Saturday night. Chicken piccata was dry and bland. I suppose I had low Applebee’s expectations so not very surprised. My wife’s turn to pick, I was just along for the predictable ride.

Blecch. I guess most people would like this but it’s really horrible Italian food. Soggy pasta mush with sweet runny sauce. Burnt meatballs. Disgusting every dish.

Visited while in town for the weekend with family. Had the Pulucci and the white pizza. Both of which were excellent. Melvin was an attentive server and very friendly. Very satisfied with our dinner.

This Bertucci’s is great. I’ve never had bad food or bad service here. The lunch menu is awesome and I love getting all you can eat salad with my meal. I usually end up eating too much salad and then having to take home some of my food which is fine with me because I end up with two meals for the price of one.

I’m dropping down my rating due to my most recent visit. I took my husband and kids here because I thought it was decent food that my family would enjoy. Well, our server was very uneducated about the menu. I was told on my first visit that the sandwiches came with either soup or pasta salad. She swore that it was both, soup and pasta salad. We asked her to clarify and she said yes, so we picked a soup to taste, even though my husband wanted to taste the pasta salad and wasn’t interested in the soup. But if it came with it, we figured we’d try it. When the meal arrived, the sandwiches were plated with only soup, and no pasta salad. Oh, and the sandwiches were charred. Like basically blackened. My husband scraped off the char for our daughter and she ate it. There was a ton, though. Way more than should’ve even been acceptable. We asked the server for a small side of pasta salad, since evidentially, sandwiches do not come with both soup AND pasta salad and she took forever but brought a cup over. She also apologized and took one of the sandwiches off the menu for the gross charring issue. BUT, she failed to mention that she was going to charge us $ 4 for the side of pasta salad, that we only wanted to taste. By the time she finally arrived with the bill and we had looked it over and discovered the charge and credit of the sandwich, we just paid and left. It wasn’t worth the discussion. We knew better than the server and that isn’t great. Especially since it was only my second time eating at this establishment.

Bertucci’s is a definitely one of the better chain Italian restaurants, and this location is no exception. I came here recently for a weekday lunch with my family. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. They have great specials here for lunch that include fresh baked rolls and unlimited salad. I used to actually have a punch card for lunch here but i’m not sure if they still do that. The rolls they give you are literally amazing, which sounds extreme but they’re always my favorite thing about coming here. The unlimited salad is also not bad. For my entrée, I got the cheese ravioli which is the perfect sized portion for lunch. I hate places that don’t have lunch sized portions because I can never finish the regular sized ones at lunchtime. The ravioli was also very good. This place was unexpectedly busy for a week day but service was not lacking. For cheap, chain italian, you really can’t beat bertucci’s quality of food.

Yes. The service was relatively slow. It was not busy day, the house was not full at all. However, people who came later than us, served by another waitress, already placed their order when the waitress just put our drink on the table. I had a side salad and 1 minute after the waitress put it my table, our entrees arrived. Seriously?! I had to finish my salad in 1 min so that I can enjoy my hot entrée in a freezing day?! I had Masala Chicken. it was very salty. I won’t come back to this location again.

Well, the evening began well. Manager, Mike, working as host was friendly and professional. We were seated and greeted by a friendly server. The Tuscan wings were full of flavor, good and meaty! Great grilled flavor too! Also, the bruschetta was very good as well. From this point things went downhill fast! And, this has happened more times than I’d like to admit eating out. Our salads came out and were placed on the table. Our server walked away, we reached for our forks – looked up – and standing at our table were two runners with our entrees! Really??? You want us to gulp down our salad and let our entrée sit to get cold? We firmly expressed our annoyance and that they could take our entrees back to the kitchen. And, making it known we did not want them sitting under a heat lamp either! We then let our server know of our annoyance. Her attitude was like«no big deal»! Once we got the entrees again we were pretty sure they sat under a heat lamp the 15 minutes we ate our salads. Lasagne was dry with crunchy sections of pasta. The chicken piccata was just plain awful. It was so heavy in lemon I felt like I was eating the lemon! I couldn’t even eat half of it. So, this very well could be counted as me just not liking the dish and not necessarily the fault of the testaurant. By now, all our drinks were gone and the Server basically washed her hands of us never returning to the table through our meal. Fortunately, Mike came to the table to ask about the problem. He asked what he could do to make things right. He ended up buying two desserts for the table. He was the only saving grace to the experience… and we told him the Server’s entire attitude changed when we confronted her with the problem. Not even an apology… more of an annoyance on HER part! Never did get another refill either on drinker! UGH, not an enjoyable evening! I’m good on a Bertucci’s visit for a good long time

Okay — I’ve never had Italian that was anything close to «Italian» that could also be called cheap. And this is «Chain Italian». But it is Good. I’ve never had a «bad» dish from here — and I keep expecting it. Been here for Lunch a number of times, it being fairly close to the business. Even Dinner with the wife one time. Always good, attentive service. Even if at times they seem to be a bit lacking on specials and stuff — I think they need some work wit ordering in supplies, honestly. My pasta(what I usually order) has always came out good to darn good. The sauces not over done, tasty. The house salad and bread is great. And the experience doesn’t leave me feeling«over priced» like other Chain Italian places do. And this location is clean, welcoming and rarely«to crowded» while also not seeming to be «empty». Good, tasty food and not over priced.

I ate at the bar, my server was Amber, she was outstanding, pleasant and attentive. I had the Caprese salad with a 5 ounce piece of grilled salmon which was excellent and the shrimp scampi which is a new item on their menu. The scampi was okay, I wasn’t thrilled, I wasn’t disappointed, it was just average. I would come back to explore other options on the menu, and plan to do so again this week while I’m in town.

Oh boy… where to begin… experienced terrible service. I met a client here for a business lunch. My first choice for lunch was the Risotto with butternut squash. I was told that I can get the Risotto but they don’t have butternut squash. The reason server explained is that they were in the middle of changing out the menus for the season. Totally reasonable… My second choice happened to be the lobster ravioli. They didn’t have it for the same reason. News like this is so much more palatable when you first sit down, before one has a chance to look at the menu, consider an item and then order… just to be told that choice #1AND #2 are not possible. Fast forward to dessert where I’m eating very mediocre chocolate layer cake amid salad and entrée plates and leftover food. Yuck. If I were with my family, I would have spoken up but a business lunch is something entirely different and it is just an expectation to clear the plates. I recommend to stay away until servers get training or until the busser’s strike is over.

Had a great meal at this Bertucci’s a few days ago… Server could have been a little better though — I asked for extra dressing with my Watermelon-Feta-Arugula Salad and she brought out their house Italian which was NOT what was on my salad. Then I explained that it was some sort of Balsamic dressing so she then brought out a Balsamic dressing that was STILL not the same dressing I had one my salad. At that point, everyone else was just about done eating so I just gave up and ate my salad — pretty much dry:( Everything else was great though — hence the 4 star rating! Loved their antipasto platter with yummy lunchmeats and roasted veggies and fresh mozzarella and a nice olive tapenade… I could eat that kind of stuff every single day of my life!

Stick to the house red wine, the pizza, and the rolls and you are set. Don’t stray into the menu too far. If you are eating inside, eat in the bar instead of the dining room, and try not to come during peak hours. Given all that, I do enjoy coming here occasionally for some tasty(and well-priced) house red wine, pizza, and warm rolls with really freaking good dipping oil. My long-time pizza favorite has been the Sofia pizza– I’ve come specifically to eat that– but when I picked up take-out the other week, they didn’t have it anymore! The girl taking orders also had never heard of it– I had to google it and try to recreate it through ordering specific toppings(I came somewhat close but not perfect). If you’re going to remove pizzas from the menu, at least make sure your waitresses and staff still know how to make it, especially since you already carry all the ingredients necessary. Of note, if you are picking up take-out, there is a separate entrance in the back of the restaurant, which can help you avoid the parking lot disaster in the front of the restaurant. Service is usually pretty good, in a chain type of way(again, don’t come on peak hours). There are definitely more memorable places to eat in the area, but sometimes I’m just craving a Bertucci’s pizza and some of their delicious warm rolls. Mmmmmm.
