The only decent thing on their menu is their plain pizza, which is the only reason I’m giving this pizzeria 2 stars instead of 1. The garlic knots are always hard(I have a feeling they don’t move too quickly if you catch my drift…) and the rest of their pizzas look horrific(the only reason their plain slice is good is because everyone gets it, keeping it fresh vs everything else they offer). I’ve tried the linguini, fried calamari, and chicken parm. All 3 were 1.5÷5 at best. On another note, In the summer of ’14, I was walking my dog past the pizzeria after it just closed. My dog wouldn’t stop looking into the restaurant, so naturally I look in. Their door is opened, but their gate is down so I figured the owners were just cleaning up or something. A few moments later, two dogs are INSIDE the restaurant, BARKING at my dog from behind the gates. I’ve met the owner and he’s definitely not someone I’d want on my bad side(very unfriendly), but I didn’t think he’d be so careless as to KEEPDOGSINHISRESTAURANT. Even though it’s closed, that is just unsanitary. I regret not taking a picture of this, but it would be mean not to let them redeem themselves. Giving this pizzeria the benefit of the doubt, 2⁄5 even though I honestly believe they deserve lower.

We just moved to Glen Oaks. We were excited to have a pizza place in walking distance, but we’ll just have to walk a little farther because this guy doesn’t deserve business. My mother walked my 4 year old son up there around 12:30 in the afternoon. They’re supposed to open 11 – 11:30, but the guy sent them out saying they weren’t open yet. That was«fine» my mother said, they’d wait — outside as they were definitively not invited to wait inside. All of a sudden the guy comes out«asking» my mother if she thought it was appropriate my son touch the glass of the store and complaining that somebody has to clean that. I say«asking» because however he said it my son fell into tears and my mother purchased pizza for him elsewhere. I called after and asked for the manager to get an explanation. Turns out, the crew is nice and sympathized with my plight. The problem is this guy WAS the manager. I’m surprised. I mean an adult would respect the fact that you just don’t talk to people like that, and especially customers and ESPECIALLY children. And even though we all have bad days, I don’t think an apology was out of the question, do you?

I walked in here one day at around 6 pm or so. What I experienced was the rudest service in my life! I literally walked out with my daughter. We went up to the counter and as my daughter was trying to decide what to get. The rude counter person started raising his voice asking us what we want to order. Well I didn’t know I walked into McDonald’s and had to be ready with my order pronto! I mean this guy just jumped down my throat and didn’t even give me a few seconds to order. There was nobody at the pizza shop just us. So I don’t know what the rush was about. I told him to give me a minute and then I hear him mutter under his breath and say the following«Don’t f… waste my time I don’t have all day!» Oh yea well I looked up at him and said you know what your rude goodbye and walked out. As I was walking out he said oh come back it’s ok it’s ok… I said no it’s not your rude and a choice word of my own. He is on the young side and could have been hispanic or indian descent I am not sure. I can’t believe the audacity of this person. The way he was acting could have been drug related perhaps. I wasn’t even rude to him very mild mannered until he started acting very disrespectful towards me and my kid. I feel sorry for the owner because he seems to be a nice guy but his worker apparently wasn’t. He needs to get rid of him — I hope maybe he did by now. Before I go in here now I make sure he isn’t there. I came back in here another time and he wasn’t there but another very nice server was. However I ordered a slice pizza which seemed to have been sitting out for a long time so it tasted far from amazing.

I’ve only had the rolls and hot sandwiches from Marcella’s and they’re consistently good. It’s location in the Glen Oaks Shopping Plaza makes it convenient. The only negative is that the tv is usually turned on to something very boring.

1st time eating there. I had the calamari. HORRIBLE. Too much breading and the oil is not fresh. i literally had to take breading off to eat it. And yes I spent 9.73 so I was eating it. Put lemon and garlic salt to help but I’m not coming back here.

Dependable source of local pizza. Very cheap, but not always the best pies. The garlice knots are great. The young workers always change, and that can get annoying over the phone.

This place isn’t bad, I’ve been here a lot when I was younger and enjoy a lot of their special slices. My two favorites were the Taco pizza slice and the Cheesburger slice. Never tried their entrees or heroes. Only had slices. Marci is one of the nicest person and is awesome!

The pizza is cheap, the owner is a nice guy who always says hello, and the place is open late. The biggest negative about the place is some of the younger workers who manage to dry out the pizza slices when reheating them. The owner corrects them whenever he catches this problem, but since he usually makes the deliveries himself, he might not be there to make sure the shop is being run correctly

Marcella’s is by far the best pizzeria in this small area of Queens. Been going here for the longest, and their pizza is great. The owner Steve is the man, always friendly and shows nothing but love. Great guy, always treats me to free pizza just for coming around a lot. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

This place does not look like much but the pizza is great. I think it’s the sauce which is slightly on the sweet side — which I personally like.

This used to be my stop on the way to my best friends house growing up because they’re Scilians were really good. They’re a cute little establishment normally full of kids getting out of school. And it has a window facing the outside… now…this is like drive thru pizza? Is it so difficult to step inside the place and order the slice? I suppose if you ride up on your 10 speed you may feel cooler if you order from outside but with a place that size I don’t get it. The people behind the counter are nice though and the pizza is good but not great.
