Very disappointed unfortunately. Had an appointment on Dec 24th for 10:30 am for myself and my daughter. I called to cancel my daughter’s appointment and was told there was no appointment for me and I must have called another place. Now since I have been coming here for years(and progressively been more disappointed) I knew exactly the women’s voice and their process of appointment confirmation. They use your telephone number to look you up. So, I am 100% certain that I called them. She just forgot to put it us in the books. She was very rude, told me she will call me back and hung up. Half an hour later the male owner called and backed her up by saying I must have called another place and they can accommodate me another time or I can find another salon. Guess what I am choosing to do? Find another salon permanently and I would suggest anyone reading this review do the same.

First and last time. Called in on a Wednesday at 5:15pm. Spoke to the owner — she asked me to get there by 5:30pm since they close at 6:00pm. Got there at 5:25pm(I work and live in the area). Was greeted and asked to pay. Showed to the nail station where the tech barely looked up, much less held a conversation. She rushed through everything. Didn’t even clean up my cuticles. I basically paid $ 33(was given a $ 2 coupon for being a first timer) for a no-chip polish change. Never. Again.

The nail salon is clean. The owner is friendly. The nail technicians are careful and nice. The manicures last! I suspect the secret is that they don’t dilute the polish like the quickie places near my work in the city. They are popular so you need a reservation and I am not always the best about planning ahead(but I try to because it is worth it).

If I’m hoping for a peaceful mani/pedi or perhaps even need to jump on a call(multitasking at it’s finest) I head to Style Nails & Spa.* But if I“m in the mood for a more lively atmosphere where I’m likely to socialize with at least 10 other people I know I head here. Both Style Nails and Bien Assorti get the job done… good, lasting manis and pedis. Bien Assorti just tends to be a bit bigger, busier and I like that they don’t charge extra for the vinylux(nail polish that dries extra fast and apparently lasts longer). The nail technicians are nice and the prices are competitive to other nail salons in the area. They also always hand you a coupon for your next visit so there’s no reason to pay full price here. I don’t typically have a problem getting an appointment at the last minute or walking in, but if you plan on going on a late Friday afternoon I suggest calling with at least a few hours to spare. *

more expensive than others in the area but worth the extra — Ugi is amazing and very careful, so ask for her.

This place is wonderful. Clean. On time. Owner are so wonderful. I have been coming here for a while and never had a bad experience. One time they messed up an appointment time and I had to wait ten minutes. The owner brought me a gift certificate for a free manicure. SO unnecessary but very much appreciated. It is this kind of consideration for their customers that has made me a regular.

Just came from a mani/pedi here. It was great — they were having a special wherein they included hand paraffin wax, which was such a treat. Everyone who works here is so nice and professional. They also are very welcoming to kids and have special discounts for kids’ manis and pedis.

I’ve tried most nail places in suburbia including the high end salons and I always end up coming back to this place. They do a great job, are super friendly(always remember me and even my friend who occasionally comes with me), they give me coupons every time I go and best of all my regular manicures can last anywhere from 1 – 2 weeks without chipping! Not to mention, it’s very clean!

The Bucktown location is the best in the city, which I thought couldn’t be beat. The Glencoe location is even better. They personalize the service by checking in with you by name during your visit. Not intrusitve, but pleasant. Got a good color recommendation too. This is one of the few suburban businesses that outshines the city.

I got a very quick and efficient lip wax as a walk in. Very accomodating and polite. Grace did a great job. It was fairly painless, and it looks like a really nice place.

This is probably the cleanest nail salon in which I have ever been. The owners and nail technicians are very nice and helpful. They make you feel at home and comfortable and do their best to make sure you have a good experience. This is the only place I will go to have my nails done.

Really like this place. Have tried many many mani/pedi places In the area, and this is the one I like most. If you are going for that full day/spa Treatment. Then this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking for a really good manicure pedicure, In a pleasant environment — Then I definitely recommend this place. The staff is very nice too.

I had a mani/pedi at Bien Assorti in Glencoe and had a great experience. The salon has a nice atmosphere, very clean, and the pedicure chairs were very nice. Grace was my nail technician and she had was very attentive to detail and did a great job. When I said it was my first visit, I was even given a coupon for my next visit and a discount on my bill. I even got an extra shoulder rub while my nails dried. It’s not the cheapest place to get your nails done, but it’s not too expensive either($ 50 for mani and pedi) and I’d rather pay a few extra dollars for this level of quality. Definitely recommend!
