The owners are great people and they and technicians always do a great job. I go regularly for mani/pedi(even though I don’t live in winnetka) and highly recommend.

Lovely place! Kind and expert service! Excellent service at great price. Loved the high quality natural products. Besides an excellent mani-pedi I treated myself to a reflexology foot massage that had some noticeable health impacts soon after! Lady the dog who greets customers couldn’t be sweeter. Owner Becky is a amazing woman. Highly recommend. I will be back regularly.

Grace nails is great, I’ve called for an appointment minutes before wanting to go and they have always fit me right in. The only time I had to wait I received a complementary massage. They have a great selection of polishes to choose from, including gel and vinylux. Always good movies to watch and they’re super nice. M-W $ 35 mani-pedis.

If I could give zero stars, I would. That’s how horrible my experience was at this«establishment,» if you could call it that. My friend and I walked in for their advertised mani/pedi special. The first red flag was the owner said she didn’t have time, then abruptly changed her mind. My friend and I were skeptical and asked if we should come back later and she assured us that she could take us without a problem. Ok fine. We began selecting our colors when the owner told my friend to hurry up and finish so she could start her manicure. Strike 1, but our bedraggled nails caused us to soldier on. The technician who was going to do my nails was finishing up another client, so I sat down and waited. 5 minutes(literally 5 minutes) later, my technician sat me down, and the owner had already finished my friend’s manicure. Who has ever heard of a manicure that only takes 5 minutes?! Strike 2. When my technician didn’t soak my nails, I realized that the special mani/pedi was really nothing more than a pedicure w/a polish change; however, my nails were in disarray from moving furniture, so I didn’t care. My technician was actually quite attentive in evening out my broken nails. After she buffed my nails, she massaged my hands with lotion and a hot towel and that’s when everything went to hell in a hand basket. Unbeknownst to us, the manager decided to leave another woman soaking in the pedicure bowl while she did my friend’s hands, then she left my friend to soak in the pedicure bowl while she finished the other woman’s feet. Um, I have never seen anyone abandon another client midway thorough a pedicure in order to procure another client. It didn’t even make sense to do that because we told her we would wait until she had time, but evidently she views spa treatments as a chop shop – the more hands to hack and saw at, the better. While my friend was soaking, she noticed that my technician was more attentive and she inquired why it seemed like I was receiving a more complete manicure. She replied(loudly) that my nails were so messy that it took more work, so that’s why and that she should be happy she had less work done because that meant her nails were better than mine. This manager actually thought it was a good idea to attempt to appease a disgruntled customer by loudly insulting another one?! Not only that, she told my friend to just get over not having the lotion massage and hot towel because«it’s no big deal.» After about 5 minutes of bickering in this manner, my friend got up and said she didn’t want the pedicure and was only paying for the polish change(which was a shoddy polish change at that). About 10 minutes later, my technician finished my hands and gestured toward the pedicure bowl. I explained to her that even though she did a good job on my hands, I would be leaving with the friend I came with because she was rightfully upset and I’d pay for the polish change as well. The manager heard and tried to argue with my friend again about the fiasco but the damage had been done and we left. Tip to the owner, how about instead of arguing with everyone who walks through the door(evident by Unilocal reviews), try not to loudly insult your customers and do piss poor work! Even a polish change requires more effort than simply taking the nail polish off and slapping some more on. If that’s what we wanted, my friend and I could have done that while sitting on the couch at home. Also, don’t advertise a mani/pedi special when what you mean is polish change/pedicure. Good grief. Never again.

So disappointed with this place. I’ve never received such bad service. They are beyond slow, never start on time even when you have an appt, do sloppy work, and to top that, the owner is rude. I won’t be going back.
