Abraham Gizel, MD

My kids have been patients for over 10 years and Dr. Abraham is a great doctor. Busy for a reason. I drive an hour to see her.

My son has been under Dr. Abrahams care since he was a newborn. He is now 4 yrs old. I’m not sure about others but wait time is exceptionally fast every time he has an apt and she was readily there to answer my questions when I paged her early in the morning as a 1^st time mother she was not bothered at all. I’m am currently awaiting the birth of my 2^nd child and no doubt will he also be under Dr. Abraham’s care as well. Best pediatrician that I have found that also accepts MEDI-​CAL. Staff I initially thought could be friendlier but it was probably my perception. If they can give a child immunization orally they recommend it and instead of giving him 4 shots they make it so if the immunizations can be given in pairs they will do so thus making it one less painful needle for the child and I really appreciate that!

Doctor Gizel is the best of the Best i rather bring my 2 daughter to her. Instead of taking them to the children hospital she always has time to check even with out appointment the only thing is the wait time but other than that shes the best hopefully she gets a bigger place or add a second doctor but it has to be. Great with kids like her thanks doc.

Not super happy with this place but not super unhappy either. The staff are nice, the doctor is nice. I hate the wait time (I can expect to be here at LEAST an hour each time, usually 2) and the wait time really surprises me because the doctor only spends a couple minutes with each patient. I also don’t like that she gives prescriptions out like candy. I much prefer alternative methods and only use antibiotics and drugs when absolutely needed. I will be looking for another pediatrician until I find one I am 100% satisfied with.

Takes excellent care of my daughter. Friendly staff. Very thorough!
