My go to place for Doogh– haha! Very clean and inviting environment. Yes, it gets very busy, especially during holidays, but thats because they carry not only the most variety in products in Glendale, but the freshest. This gem is also the oldest Armenian Market in Glendale. These folks have been around for a long time due to their friendly environment and superb customer service.

Ahh. What will my family do if they wouldn’t exist. It’s like you’re walking to your own grocery shop. Fresh grocery and friendliness to the extreme.

I think it’s not«Ani’s,» but just«Ani» Grocery… but anywho, I shop here when I’m forced to. I usually don’t like to dis small businesses, no matter what I really think about them because it’s someone’s livelihood. However, I dislike this place so much that I’m actually reviewing it. It’s your local Armenian small corner grocery store. Being Armenian, I need stuff from Armenian stores that I can’t find at Ralphs. That being said, they have pretty much whatever ye ol’ Armenian needs, and generally fresh produce. However, I’ve seen a couple expired things there before on the shelves, as well as some oldish cheese from the deli counter. It’s generally more expensive than a bigger store like Golden Farms, but I’m not going to say that everything is more expensive, only some things. It’s best for a quick trip when you don’t want to get lost in a huge marker like neighboring Golden Farms or Jons Market. That’s really the only thing I go there for, just a quick trip whenever I’m in that specific area and need something. Otherwise, I really, really, REALLY dislike the owner/cashiers. There is not ONE person that works there that is friendly. Sorry, fellow Armos, you need to learn what friendly customer service is. They’re not necessarily rude, they’re just not friendly, and I like friendliness, darn you! If I can smile, so can you. They can be cool about some things some times, but overall, they just don’t make me want to shop there. Oh ya, and parking can be a biatch in their teeny lot that is shared with the pizzeria and donut shop. Anywho, 3 stars and not a twinkle more. :P

this is a cozy little armenian owned deli market, oh my god… once you step into this store you’ll feel almost armenian i swear??? :)(but in a good way) they treat you just like their own in this store, no matter what race you are, and the owner is so kind he greets you with warmth and kindness. :) they sell armenian CD’s here too, but there about $ 15 bucks a shot!(well the more recent ones are) they also have imported chocolates and candies here too, like«lindt» from switzerland? :D so if your craving armenian coffee or russian soda, then this is the place for you! :)

This is a Great Armenian owned grocery! My family often shops from here, fresh products at decent to low prices, doesn’t get much better, although everything is just stacked on top of each other sometimes, they have a lot of business! TFR
