Stood in the store for seven minutes waiting on an employee to show up. Nobody home. I could have walked out with both arms full of stuff and not been noticed.

Coffee = great! Sandwich = amazing!!! Chip selection = rad! Customer service = good Only complaint = no wifi Had an appt in Glendale, arrived early and wanted to support a local café rather than a chain. Ordered the turkey, salami and cheese sandwich. Everything was super fresh, bread was perfect. I love the«Dirty Potato Chips», they had a great selection of flavors. Ordered a non-fat latte, great tasting coffee. Staff were nice :) As I said, my only complaint was no wifi, was hoping to get some work done before my appt.

These are the best highest quality sandwiches I’ve ever tried in my life. They use top of the line boars head meats. This puts to shame the Italian deli up the street Marios with confusing number system. Every time I send my son to bring us back these great works of art we have the biggest smiles on our face. The best. Really. Great service and clean.

They have the best pastrami and roastbeef in town. Excellent service and great selection of drinks including beer.

I love this place! I used live above it, every time I pass through and visit this beautiful city I stop in. I get great service, selection and you can’t beat the price or location. Awesome subs!

I do agree with Michelle L. This place does have better sandwiches than the competitors in the area. They also serve coffee and pasteries. They do have an indoor seating area so you can watch the people go by. The other thing about this place that sets itself apart is that they serve bottles of Cold Beer.

I usually go for a freshly baked blueberry muffin. But today I needed a pick me up so I ordered a white chocolate mocha. Mmmm, they use Ghirardelli chocolate. It was perfect. Then the owner asked it the amount of chocolate was okay. Great coffee and delicious pastries.

This oddly-placed little deli is down the block from my office, so I stopped in one fateful day after passing it by for a few years. I was introduced to the cranberry turkey pesto sandwich, and I’ve been hooked ever since. This place beats nearby competitors in my opinion. Eat your heart out, Subway foot-long! My favorite sandwich at Broadway is even better than Mario’s down the street, which I thought was impossible. The man behind the counter is SUPER friendly, so I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. He remembers my name, my regular order, and asks me how business is going. He even asks about how my co-workers are doing, as he remembers them, too. Such a nice guy. I definitely recommend the turkey cranberry pesto sandwich the next time you’re passing by Glendale Ave.

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest and I finally did while visiting the civic center the other day. I chose this place because it’s right on a busy corner. I ordered a combo for 6.99. It included a sandwich with salami and other meats on a wheat roll, a can soda, and a small bag of chips. The sandwich had the basic toppings such as lettuce and tomato. The bread was thinner than other sandwich spots, which I liked. After eating half of my sandwich, I was full. This is because the portions are rather large and the meat and cheese servings are enough. Nothing fancy, just a basic sandwich. I wish they would offer at least some pickles. Not bad, not the beast. The workers there can actually be a little more engaging and perhaps customers will return and try other menu items.

Best sandwiches EVER. I stumbled upon this place with a few friends during lunchtime and was a little hesitant to try a new place(old habits are hard to break). Prices are very fair and the service was great and fast, and the sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. I also noticed that they use Boars Head deli and all meat lovers know they are a very reputable company and have high quality and delicious deli! Seriously, after coming here, I realized that the sandwiches Subway or Quiznos makes, is nothing compared to the ones they make here. It tastes like a real sandwich, and NOTCARDBOARD. I HIGHLY recommend the roast beef sandwich(literally melts in your mouth) or the turkey with cranberries and pesto!!! Bön appetit!!!

I love this little deli. They use Boar’s Head products and have a huge variety of items including sandwiches, breakfast items, and coffee/drinks. This is a small mom/pop shop and the guy really seems to enjoy making those sandwiches… he pulls out each individual slice and puts it on the sandwich. Although his attention to detail made me miss my bus, I do enjoy a sandwich professional!

Allow yourself to be transported to another time and place. The time… modern day. The place… a medicore deli. Ta da! You’re at Café Broadway! Café Broadway is located in Glendale, on the corner of Broadway and… wait for it… Glendale. If they named it anything else, the universe would have folded in on itself. During a jog, I picked up a 16oz Iced Chai Latte for $ 3.45, a reasonable price. Man, was it sugary. Fortunately, I like sweet drinks. Some might find it a little much. They also have an assortment of fruit smoothies I’d like to get my hands on next time. The services was uninspired. I received neither a «hello,» nor a «thanks for coming,» nor a «enjoy your drink» when I picked it up. These things take basically no effort to say. Proprietors need to understand that these things make the difference when I decide whether to come back to a property or not. That being said, their sandwich prices seemed reasonable but I did not partake. I didn’t want to throw up a ham and cheese on the jog back home.

café broadway is a nice sandwich, soup and salad joint located in an office building on the corner of broadway and glendale ave across the street from glendale city hall. they serve boar’s head deli meats which automatically makes it a step up from subway. i got a combo meal with a small bag of chips and a can of soda with my footlong sandwich(ham, mortadella, salami, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo and mustard on a fresh italian roll) for about 7 bucks. if you’re in the area and craving a quick meal in a quiet relaxed setting, this is a good alternative to the crowded fast food chains that populate the area. they also serve beer and coffee. good service and large tinted windows which look out on to the busy street make it a decent spot to sit back, eat and watch people go by…

Why would anyone go here? Aside from the«french» bread being tooth chipping hard, the sandwich was not made the way I asked. Service would be negative stars, were that an option.
