Classy Cuts

I’ve been going here since I was a child. Now as an adult, still love the haircuts I get here. Jenny and Zara are my favorites — and the cost is really reasonable for a guys hair cut (I think it’s $ 16)

I have been coming here for a long time. I always go to Arpie and to no one else. If you want a good inexpensive haircut this is a great place. I do not need an expensive stylist. I want a quick decent haircut and that is what I always get. Arpie is always nice, courteous and very competent. She is not there everyday so you would need to call and see when she is in. I rarely have to wait long if I go there during the week or when they open on the weekends.

If you speak Armenian maybe the service will be good. As for me, my dog gets a better haircut.
Definitely you will not waste time, since they will finish in less than 5 min. You will be paying $ 3 per minute and look worse than a new born rat!

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 or so years, even after I moved to Glendale 3 yrs ago and Pomona 2 yrs ago. Jenny, the owner, really listens and is patient to understanding how you want your hair done. I’ve begun keeping different pictures of styles that I like in my phone, it’s 10x better than just explaining it. I’ve had a couple times where I didn’t quite like it, but what can I do? I have 3 callacs. I come here every month. Even her employees are very reliable and kind. My mom also comes here, for her hair coloring.

Jenya is good, good quick hair cut. Came in when no one was there in early am. Started off good. Then 2 customers came in and she greeted them. After that she was in the rush to finish my cut, not taking her time. I had to ask for shampoo and then for blow dry.

Been coming here for 3 years. Ask for Jenya! She really knows how to take care of her costumers. The rest of the ladies are not as good…

I have always loved Janny and she and her friend have both done very well on my hair and I always recommend her to people. Idk with is wrong with Ricky g, jennifer a, or Fredric b. I agree with Arthur. Love lovelovethem!

The two other reviews are spot on about this place. The owner is VERY, very rude! She’ll quote you one thing and then charge another once you’ve had the service done. I don’t know if it’s because there’s a language barrier or if she uses that to her advantage; she conveniently «misunderstands», and then like the previous reviewers have said she gets defensive and blames the costumer. The ONLY reason I’ve gone back multiple times is because they are the cheapest place I know of for hair color, I need to cover my gray every 2 – 3 months, but I DREAD going. The experience is awful. The owner stained my face A LOT once! It actually did seem like she did it on purpose, just like someone else said. My face was stained for days. My little kids could have done a cleaner job. Today was the last straw. My color is horrible, my roots are super dark, almost black, and my ends are red. Not the look I was going for. I was going for ONE solid color. When I called the owner answered and got defensive, which I expected. Miraculously she let me speak to the lady that did my hair, Anita, who is really nice. If she didn’t work there I would have never returned. Anita then started getting defensive and before the conversation was finished my phone crapped out. I want them to fix my hair and not charge me, but I really don’t know if I could go back once again and endure their attitude. Usually women call getting their hair done ‘pampering’. I call it ‘torture’ when you’re dealing with that place! If you want to pay people to mistreat you then this place will gladly do just that. That’s the only thing they do right.

I am surprised by the other reviews. I have placed good reviews here before, and for some mysterious reason, they seem to disappear! Every time I have gone in to Classy Cut, Jennie has been very friendly and eager to please. No matter how busy she is, she always has a smile on her face and pleasant comments for everyone. Perhaps the people giving her poor reviews own a competitive salon?

I LOVE Jenny and the other ladies (one Mexican, one also Armenian I think) here. Today I only had a few minutes on my lunch break and she layered & trimmed my hair FAST and did a beautiful job! AND they are so sweet and nice and friendly, I always send everyone to Classy Cut!

This is the worst place to get a haircut in this area! The Armenian lady has a big bitchy attitude, can’t cut right even if you already showed her a picture, she gets very defensive and gives you more attitude if you insist that it’s really not the one you wanted, and most of all she is a racist! A racist!
The only good thing about this place is the area it’s in and the store is clean, but other than that, this place is crap! Don’t even go to this place! Maybe you should and bring a video cam to record how this racist Armenian lady deals with people her own kind and people of other race. Put it on YouTube! This place doesn’t deserve to be in business.

There are some businesses that seem to hate customers. I got my haircut here a few times, it’s nearby and it’s convenient, but the lady who runs the place always has a terrible attitude and seems annoyed to have to attend me. I’m always polite, and always tip her generously, but she’s a world-​class bitch.
Anyways the last time I went, she purposely cut my hair all wrong and then charged me $ 15 (there’s a giant neon sign that says «Men’s haircuts: $ 9.95» in the window, it’s what she always charged me before). I payed, and even tipped her again, in an attempt to show her I’m not so bad, but on the way out I just felt belittled and humiliated.
I don’t know if she’s just racist against mexicans or hates men or whatever. Please do not frequent this business, let’s show that this kind of nasty, spiteful behavior is unacceptable, and maybe this place will go out of business. It’s always empty anyway.
