I tried the country fried steak and 3 eggs with hash browns. The steak was Awesome, combined with the over easy eggs and potatoes were done perfect. I couldn’t ask for a better breakfast! I just wanted the cooks and servers who work after 11pm to know, you’re doing it right! Tony

Cool place but the food is mediocre. Service is slow but a great parking lot. The prices aren’t that bad. Customer service is friendly. It’s 24 hours

Another good venue for our big group of different families coming from all over the Southland. This restaurant is centrally located with ample parking for all our vehicles. I don’t know their hours but we were there ’til late on a regular work week night. They even have a spacious outside patio which we enjoyed having our conversation. Conrad’s is a good spot where good memories are made.

We stayed nearby for four days and ate at Conrad’s at least once each day. The service was impeccable, the prices fair and the menu was huge. We especially enjoyed the fact that they were open to making changes as we requested, including adding taco meat and beans to our nachos, etc. We look forward to coming back many times on our next trip.

This place so totally rocks. Their menu is huge. So many choices… The portions of food per plate could easily feed two people! And the desserts, amazing. I really like how the restaurant is furnished. There is nothing cheap in the whole place. They have counter seating, huge dining room, heated patio seating, big booths in the bar area and a bar. Did I mention the pies? AND Conrads is open 24 hours. Conrads doesn’t skimp on the staff either. Plenty of waiters and waitresses. No long waits, very expedient service and very accommodating. I use to come in here with my parents when I was a young man, and tonight I brought my 24 year old daughter in here, and it was great to see that Conrads is even better today than it was 30 years ago…

Woe. Conrad’s has sunk below my lowest place to eat. I come here only at the behest of others because the food has been anemic forever. Tonight I ordered a $ 12.95 «fresh mushroom omelette». It was mushrooms, folded into eggs, eggs cooked to a thin crust on the outside and slightly runny on the inside. No onion, no garlic, not a trace of scallion not even the expected sprig of curly parsley on the plate. Pale. I expressed my concern, disgust by telling the server that it wasn’t as good as the food in a nursing home. My husband ordered spaghetti. It is on par with the food at the public high school cafeteria where he works. She offered to allow us to order something else… we declined. Sad. Glendale no longer has a good diner.

I had breakfast here this morning and it was good. A must try is their lemonade, it’s literally the best I’ve ever had! Pork chop breakfast was good! I love places that’s aren’t extremely busy because I’m so impatient I hate waiting. There was literally no wait time here !

Meh… I should’ve definitely chosen something with better reviews. My hotel recommended this but I think that was basically just because it was close & I was walking. I’m by myself & the host decides to seat me in a booth big enough for 6. It’s super dark & dingy… You’d never know it was sunny &75 outside in this cave! After my food was served, my server literally disappeared. Didn’t refill my water or come to check how my food was tasting. And the food… Let me tell you! This is the most lemon-y hollandaise sauce I have ever had! Almost to the point of being inedible! The fries were decent & the ranch was above average. But due to the service, atmosphere & lemony hollandaise I cannot give this place higher than 2 stars!

I have lived in Glendale for many years. I came here with friends for dinner. I was so disappointed not only in the slow service but in the way they treat their patrons. The manager«Suzanne» was so disrespectful in the way she communicated to us, she was clearly overwhelmed in simple tasks her servers failed to handle. Clearly Conrads should be left in the past perhaps a breakfast place, but for a dinner house you will be better passing this one by!

It’s American diner food, rate it on that basis, it is not Lawry’s the Prime Rib for Pete’s sake!

Only reason to go here is because nowhere else is open. It’s more of a hangout. The good is horrible quality and overpriced. I’d rather take my own water bottle. I’ve been here daytime where the crowd is entirely different. Been going here after events for 15+ years and nothing has changed. Probably good has just gotten worse. But after midnight it’s jam packed for sure!

Conrad’s is a 24 hour family restaurant/diner that has been in Glendale forever. It’s one of the few late night/all hours of the day sit down restaurants in the city. It definitely gets crowded after the bars and clubs let out as people tend to come here to soak it all up after a night out. The food has always just been ordinary and the service decent. No huge complaints from me like other reviewers but I get the lack of stellar reviews. This place hasnt changed in my whole time in Glendale and I dont really expect it to. I had the deep fried jumbo shrimp platter as it was a fairly late Friday night during Lent so I couldnt eat meat. The clam chowder that came with it was very plain and no real flavor. Cant really tell you that I could distinguish the clams in it. The potatoes. Those were unmistakable. They were cut just too big to be served in a cup that small. It was quite bland overall. The shrimp platter came and the fries were good as I asked for them to be well done. The shrimp wasnt great and I had really thought this meal would be a satisfying one. They tasted a little fishy and I didnt really like it. You get 6 decent sized pieces and although I was a bit hungry when I got there, I didnt finish it all. I’ve had ham & eggs also at times and that wasnt bad. Decent but at times rubbery ham steak with over medium eggs and hash browns. It wasnt bad but also could have been better. Service has always been decent also. The host up front greeting you and walking you to your table and the waitresses have all been fairly nice. No complaints on the service from me. Parking is in their private lot. It can fill up during the late night/after midnight hours.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Not only was the food extremely overpriced and tasted horrible. Including some nachos that were literally just sliced cheese on top of stale chips. I can understand that the food might not be the best because it’s a 24⁄7 restaurant, but there’s no reason the service should be as bad as it is. Stay away from here and stick to ihop and denny’s.

This place is «old school» to the max… largely in a good way. A multi-page menu with all the standbys, very busy, but prompt service. We went there twice while we were in Glendale and our favorite waitress was Mabel who has a decade or more on me and I’m in my 60s(the new 40s? Sure, let’s pretend that’s the case). If you happen to be from the Hayward area, it’s an updated Prings with a full bar, not great food but good food.

I always feel at home when I come to this restaurant. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Make sure you check out the back cover of the menu for some specials which includes my favorite: roast chicken. It comes with soup/salad and dessert.

NOTHINGTOSAYABOUTTHISHOLE. WELL, I DOHAVESOMETHINGTOSAY. CUSTOMERSERVICESUCKED… We walked in and the two dumb dumbs standing at the front acted as if they had seen ghosts. Then we asked for 2 high chairs and the next one acted as if he had no idea we needed chairs. HELLO, THEREARETWOTODDLERSWITHUS. The food… UGH. Enchiladas were bland and just tortillas with chicken then rolled and poured some sauce over them. My 3 yr old could have done that. Beans and rice… NEXT. The ONLY thing that was decent was the pancakes that my son got. I guess to sum it all up, I WON’T BEBACKHERE. THANKSBUTNOTHANKS

Conrad’s Restaurant reminded me of Norms and Denny’s because it opens 24 hours, 7 days a week and it serves mostly food from the diner, which is greatly appreciated after a late night choir practice or in this case, my prayer community’s anniversary celebration. I normally order Conrad’s famous fried chicken, which is very delicious and crispy upon every bite. This time, however, I ordered the corn chowder soup in a cup while my friends got the corn chowder in bowl mode. The corn chowder definitely hit the spot. The ambiance was what I expected it to be from a diner — comfortable seating, full bar, booths, and tables. The service was the only feature that wasn’t good — slow. After we were finished with our meal, we would tell the staff that we want the bill as soon as possible. However, it would take them about thirty minutes to get us the bill. This had happened numerous times and we tend to come during the late night/early morning hours when the place wasn’t so busy. Overall, Conrad’s Restaurant is good for those late night munchies.
