Saw this place while on vacationing in SoCal. Sandwiches were very good, and lightly toasted. It’s a small little café. You can sit outside or inside. Only one worker was in the restaurant at the time, which I assume the was owner. He brought the sandwiches out to the table. They use Boarshead meats which I believe to be of good quality, lower nitrates and all that. The price is a little on the higher side but I guess that’s understandable since the meats are better and it isn’t a chain sandwich shop. Doesn’t appear to be any soft drink refills like you might see, and there was a sticker on the door that said something like«no outside food». This leads me to believe maximizing profits is very important, which is again why the business exists, but there is a fine line between being a little more generous to increase customer service or perceived customer service and value. Couple that with the good food and people come back. Check it out!

Haters gonna hate, but Le Petit is great! I totally understand the disappointment of no wifi or the sign that reads«no computer use allowed», but that is the beauty of this café. It creates a social atmosphere. We’re stuck behind computer screens all day long and if you are going to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or lunch, do it with civil engagement! My friend and I were greeted promptly and had our order placed in minutes. They do have a credit card minimum, so its noteworthy to have cash handy. Their menu offers more variety for lunch, but the breakfast bagel was simple and satisfying. I really liked the calm atmosphere of this café. The nice leather couches at the window allow you to people watch or enjoy a book with some natural light.

Nice place for lunch. Looking forward to trying their breakfast menu. I really like the quaint ambiance of the place, and will come back. The sandwiches are a good quality, and they have a great selection of breads, which is imported if one is to build the perfect sandwich.

I wish there were a 9 or 10 stars that I could give this place. You truly feel like your in one of the boutique cafes in Paris. I highly recommend the experience because the place is very homy and the people that work there are genuinely happy and very attentive. The gentleman that works there I think is the owner too, has a great attitude and makes customers feel very welcome. I love theirs coffees and get the soups sometimes. Every time I’ve gone in, I’ve found the place sparkling clean, the ambiance calm and pleasant and the food is simple and good quality just the way you get it in the top cafes in France. I Highly recommend this place! I look forward to going back!

I don’t really enjoy writing review, but I was so put of by this place that I had to. So, I’m waiting for a dentist appointment and thought I’d go have a coffee and do some work while I waited. I walked upon this cute, EMPTY little place. Went in and got a coffee and took a seat at a table and started working. Note: THEYDONOTPROVIDEWIFI — I WASUSINGMYOWNHOTSPOT So, after about 20 mins, the owner approches me and says they have a «30 minute limit on computers.» I was totally confused, I didn’t know what he was referring too. At first I thought he was saying that their ‘wifi’ has a 30 min limit, so I let him know i was on my own hotspot. He then explained that, they only allow people to use their computers for 30 mins, because it take up all the tables and then people who want to come eat, can’t. Let me just say«I get that.»! However, here what I don’t get! The place was EMPTY! Noone was needing a table, noone was waiting(I think I understand why). and he felt compelled to tell me the rule of only 30 mins for my computer. He then gracially gave me an additional 30 mins, since I was unaware. There are no signs stating this detail… but I was so put off and annoyed that I just could not stay. So… long story short, only visit this place for food… The wise thing here in my opinion… was for the owner to keep this to himself, until there was an issue. If it began to get croweded and table were a need… then he could have said something… it just doesnt’ seem wise to push your only paton out the door, but a stupid rule that’s not going to do any good in that moment. Even better, POST A SIGN!

EVERYTHINGABOUTTHISPLACEISAWESOME! This café is by far the best in Glendale! You definitely get your money’s worth. The sandwiches and pastry are out of this world! The staff is also very nice and welcoming and will do anything to make you leave with a smile on your face.

This is the first time I am leaving a 1 star review and I thought no one would deserve one but here it goes. This review is for the service and attitude if the employee or owner working the restaurant. Representative was rude, made you feel unwelcome. The environment created was uncomfortable and unpleasant. How you ask. I do not want to get into details for my privacy. Do not recommend. Don’t waste your time. Search for somewhere else in the vicinity to spend your precious time. Hopefully they will use this review and implement more customer friendly service fit for a coffee house.

For me, a perfect combination of outdoor table basking in fall seasonal sun, excellent service, appealing décor, good coffee, a delicious blackberry tart and ham/tomato bagel and a muffin that was more top than bottom. My cousin brings her mom to Walgreen’s and Trader Joes across the street, I’m recommending crossing the street to Le Petit.

Little French Café on Brand. Cute little place with French music and some int’l too. Really worth it to have lunch here. Had a chicken sandwich, half because the whole sandwich is a very generous size! The service is fast, friendly. Place is really clean. People walking in are regulars they talk about their dogs and stuff with the owners! I love little gems like this!

I work close by and walk here every now and then. Has an extremely great vibe and the food always tastes fresh and natural. They have a huge food menu and beverages. I love their sandwiches the best. Always has parking if you drive here and also a great substitute café to finish school assignments instead of going to Starbucks. Great food, friendly-honest staff, excellent establishment. Definitely a fan!

This is a nice choice if you’re ok with a limited coffee selection. I like the quaint appeal of the shop. This part of Brand St. is not as busy so sitting at a table on the sidewalk is enjoyable.

I had a delicious create-your-own hot pastrami sandwich here. They have sprouts and cilantro and jalapeños as ingredients that you can add to your sandwich for no extra charge. The service is very friendly but not excessively so. I will definitely come back. Only complaint is that there’s no wifi offered.

Very cute, quiet convenient spot with plenty of parking. The man working behind the counter was very kind and genuine. Unlike a lot of cafés in Glendale when the people working groan as you walk in! I enjoyed their coffee, it’s self serve. My little berry scone went perfect with it. J’adore le petit café!

Came in today after a dentist appointment across the street. It’s definitely a cute establishment both inside and out. I asked what one of their favorite sandwiches was and was told pastrami, at first I was hesitant since I’m not much of a pastrami eater but decided to give it a shot.(I can be easily persuaded) Super friendly service, and although it seemed like the lunch crowd was coming in, they still had time to bring me my food. Half on the plate and half in a to go bag upon request :). As for the 5 stars, it definitely goes to the sandwich in itself, forget taking half to my hubby at home, this one’s mine for later. The pastrami isn’t chewy or fatty, its flavorful and amazing with their dijon sauce and cilantro! Trust me get the cilantro! !! Overall, this will definitely be my go to sandwich spot when hungry in glendale :)

The service here dashed any promise of a quaint experience while waiting for a nearby appointment. I ordered a hot mint tea and then requested a cup of ice in order to transfer the brewed tea. It was a hot day and I am abstaining from caffeine. I realize this may be a bit of a in-depth order, but I was willing to pay extra for the cup of ice. She completely denied my request for the extra cup of ice and simply said cups of ice weren’t for sale and blamed her boss. What? She threw some ice cubes in my hot tea and then attempted to be overly nice after denying my request, but it was just awkward. Once the bizarre exchange was over, I grabbed a seat with my luke warm tea in the tiny indoor seating area. Shortly after the same clerk came and sat in the common area and proceeded to text and chat on her cell phone. Again, awkward. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, this is actually my first. But, it was obvious she was going out of her way to make the experience difficult and uncomfortable. Definitely won’t be returning.
