Really good sandwiches! Been coming to this place for years. Drove by today and the place is being renovated as a pizza shop! Damn!

Great sandwiches! We have had the pastrami, meatball and chicken marinara. All are delicious and they aren’t skimpy on the servings. I also got the macaroni salad and like it. The prices are great too! I am so glad my husband found this place. It’s so close to where we live and I had never noticed it. The 2 gentlemen that are always there when I go in are so sweet.

There is nothing quite like their broasted chicken. It is moist, not greasy like fried chicken, and very crispy.

Let’s get straight to the point-This place is delicious! The owner is pretty cool once you get to know him. Best sandwich place around Glendale for sure.

Just got it for delivery. I ordered the pastrami and pizza bread. I enjoyed it. Huge sandwiches that are for sure filled up. I will order again happily. My one critique would be that the sandwich was not hot when I received it. I am sure they were busy but maybe investing in a heat preserver would be a good idea! Thanks Crispy Deli!

Wrong decision OR Wrong place? Decided to stop in for a nice Deli sandwich one weekday about 12:30-PM and for the time of day it was to my surprise this little deli had NO customers, being my first time here I looked over their menu board one thing I did notice their was NO sign as to what brand of deli meat they serve? the refrigerated showcase only has a slab of «Hormel» Ham, some cheese in plastic wrap, pasta and potato salad. Sandwiches come in Regular and Large, I got the Large Meatball & Sausage w/Jalapenos, FYI they do take Debt/Credit Cards with a $ 9.50 minimum… Fountain sodas they do charge for refills, you want a cup of WATER? that will be 25-Cents! Now Pancho always rolls with CASH but I can understand a min-charge for debt ESPECIALLY for these small businesses, these damn BANK %% Fee’s kill them! BUT what I don’t get is charging for refills on fountain sodas, the mark up OR % of profit is incredible WHY make yourself look like the cheap bastard you are by charging your customer more!(((GREED))) Large Meatball & Sausage w/Jalapenos($ 8.25) A MASSIVE sandwich no doubt, thankfully they cut it in half for easier maneuvering I manage to lift half the HOT sandwich without spilling too much I take my(((FIRSTBITE))) and my first thought was YES, the meat was STONECOLD in the middle and all I could picture was Gordon Ramsey(((SMASHING))) the sandwich and Yelling«YOUDONKEY» In disbelief I asked the gentleman, Me — Do you keep your meatballs and sausage in the refrigerator? Him — Yes, Why? Me — The meat is COLD in the middle, the outside is barely warm yet the sauce is hot! Him — Oh, do you want me to fix that for you? then he proceeds to tell me they don’t keep the meatballs and sausage in the sauce because it changes the color of the meat! Me — Yeah, OK!(((Shakes Head))) Him — Takes my sandwich, came back about a minute-ish later with sandwich, said nothing just set it down! I go to pick it up and it’s now a SOGGYMESS… they MUST have put the whole sandwich bread and all in a MICROWAVE to heat it up…(((REALLY))) your lazy ass couldn’t be bothered to take the meat off the bread first? IF the sandwich was done right it would have been OK-3-Star sandwich good just nothing special, definitely store bought meatballs and sausage, nothing more to do except heat it up and they can’t even do that right! Mr Business Owner, I LOVE to support small business and the reason I came to you instead of «Subway» which is down the street, Now if your wondering WHY you don’t have customers anymore? this might tell you something…

White long hair in my panini!!! Wtf are you serious? I should have known. Ordered the pesto panini. Honestly the worst panini I have Ever had. Straight to the trash. So embarrassing. I took a bite, couldn’t swallow due to the chewiness of the bread as if they microwaved it. I spit it out and put the«panini» down. The chicken had an aftertaste and gelatin attached, so disgusting. What a waste of 8 bucks! Never stepping foot in that place again and neither should you!

Pros: — The regular sandwich is actually quite large. I was full after eating the first half. — Quick Cons: — Expensive lunch«special»($ 8.75): you can only choose a sandwich that cost $ 6.50 or less, comes with fries and a small drink — you have to pay for refills — my fries were completely limp and soggy, inedible — ordered the pastrami sandwich and was bland — I ordered a hot sandwich and was expecting toasted bread, but it was cold. only thing hot was the meat. — $ 9.50 credit card minimum … this might be something I need to get adjusted to. I just moved from Texas, and we usually don’t have minimums on card purchase. Seems like everywhere in CA has two different prices, cash and credit. From the other reviews, I thought this would be a great hole in the wall/local favorite sandwich shop… I don’t think I’ll be returning.

That’s weird… never tried their pastrami. I usually get their roast beef, but when I want to really eat, I’ll get the broiled chicken. It takes 15 minutes to prepare so call ahead. I have them on my cell phone. The broiled chicken with the potato wedges are amazing! The skin of the chicken is flavorful and crispy.(ha, like their name!) Also, try their potato or mac salad. It’s really, really good. Add a pickle spear and you’ll be a happy camper! Yum!

My husband works down the street at Kaiser and he’s always looking for new spots for lunch. We finally had a chance to check this place out together and it was really great. We had a turkey and cheddar panini and a vegetarian cheese and avocado sandwich and both were really awesome. Really yummy bread, which is important for a good sandwich. They also have Zap potato chips which can be a difficult find in L.A.!! The service was great and very quick. Perfect for a limited lunch hour.

There was a time(Junior High) when this was the only sandwich spot we knew of. The me from back then would have given this place five stars. … But then we discovered a bunch of other sandwich shops… Not terrible, just not special in any which way…

My kids and I just love going to this small deli for one of their sandwiches. The guy who works there is very sweet and friendly. The prices are slightly higher than say a subway, but the taste is worth it! I can’t help but go there at least once or twice a week. I only wish is was open more hours. I get confused sometimes and forget that it isn’t open on Sundays.

The Crispy Deli has the best Sandwiches I have tasted so far in Glendale. Tiny hole in the wall spot. You will usually have your order taken by the owner, older Armenian man with white hair and glasses. Very friendly. My usual is a turkey breast sandwich with avocados and a side of jalapenos. I’m not too fond of the amount you have to spend in order to use your Visa, but hey!, I guess everyone must make a living. Small potato salad portions, you can find desert in the freezer along the Snapple. All in All, a Great Sandwich Shop!

DEEEEEELICIOUS!!! This place has been around for 30+years and their sandwiches are iiiinnncredible!!! Pastrami’s #1 in L.A. I think. Turkey and Avacado it out of this world… The Tuna on it’s own or the tuna melt will surely melt you away! But it gets better … they have CATERING service… they make these giant 3 to 6 feet subs… the bread is out of this world and the ingredients are piled up like a mile high! They’re totally affordable! You get a whole lot of food for you buck… that’s for sure! Individual sandwich platters are also available and they also have veggie and cheese and fruit plates! Next time you’re having a party have them cater you won’t regret it! Yum! I’m ganna go stop in for a sub right now! Turkey Avacado here I come!!! :)

Crispy Deli makes one of the BESTPASTRAMISANDWICH in Los Angeles. This hole in the wall restaurant in Glendale is amazing! Everything from process of cooking their pastrami to the condiments they use are delicious. They also serve cold sandwiches which are really good as well, but really, people need to try the pastrami sandwich first. The bread is very soft, the mayo & mustard that they use does not taste like Best Food or Heinz, which I’m glad, and the sandwich is large and filling. They also make desserts and sides, which btw their macaroni salad is to die for. When I came here for the first time, I was a bit discouraged that they were selling submarines and fried chicken. The way I see it, grease and healthy goods do not mix well. It is not like the yin and yang; there is no balance. But I guess in LA, any combination in restaurants can work, ie. Roscoe Chicken N’ Waffles.

I work down the street from this deli and this place is awesome for being such a tiny hole in the wall! The sandwiches are really good. I usually get smoked turkey, provolone and avocado… and they are not shy with the avocado! The bread is fresh and soft and they pile on the toppings. A little pricey for a sandwich but well worth it in my opinion.

Oh.~ hot Pastrami sandwich from the Crispy’s is what I crave especially during the winter season. The price is cheap compare to Subway or Quiznos. Crispy’s fries are little greasy though… wish they have fries like In&Outs.
