I’ve had Cruzers before and it’s top-notch for vegans, especially the pesto! Writing to wonder if this business is CLOSED as in for good. «Cruzed» by yesterday around 4pm and the place was locked up tight. At the minimum I’d call before swinging by.

I’m not sure why this place has so many other good reviews. Maybe the pizza is great but I’ve only had the pasta here. Twice. It was so bland and uninteresting that I haven’t been back since. Geez, could they put some Italian spice or even some black pepper in the pasta sauce to give it a little zing? B-o-r-i-n-g!

I think I had higher expectations with all of the good reviews I’d read before hand. I tried the pesto pizza and added sausage. It was pretty good, a little dry. The one thing I really didn’t like was that when I walked in, it was windy and cold and someone else’s fresh pizza that had just come out of the oven was sitting with the box open. I wouldn’t have wanted that cold pizza.

felt like some vegan pizza so i decided to come here again since i was in the area… the service was way better maybe because the owner was there… the pizza sauce was blandish… but the crust and vegan cheese was good. might drop by again.

On an empty stomach and passing through Glendale area, I needed to find something to eat and something vegan, stat! Thanks to Unilocal and somebody’s happy review about the vegan cheese, I found myself at Cruzer. The place is small… it’s not a place you would go to and dine. They basically have one long bar table but I doubt many patrons eat their pizzas here. They also don’t sell pizza by the slice(which is not a bad thing) so I had the get the medium sized. But here’s the thing… they have an entire section of their menu dedicated to vegan items! I went with the Margharita pizza. One of the more simple ones. It was nice and hot and looked beautiful! Granted, I haven’t had pizza, or «real pizza», in over a year but this totally hit the spot. I actually started getting sad at the fact that this place is so far away from LA. Then I discovered there is one in Loz Feliz! Still kinda far for me if I’m ever craving good vegan pizza but good to know it’s there if I’m ever in the area.

I’ll re review but we went at 7:40pm and they didn’t have a closed sign and then he said they were closing for the weekend? Boo. I drove all the way over here. Put up a sign instead of waiting 6 minutes to come tell us after we chose what we wanted to order! Bad customer service. I’m willing to try it again though and I will re-review with the taste of food.

OHMY! Vegan Cheese that melts! Score! Vegan Chicken BBQ Pizza-I never thought I’d like bbq sauce in place of tomato sauce. This is a must try! Vegan Vegetable Lasagna-This was very saucy! Nothing too special. Good if you have bread/crust to dip. The staff is friendly, helpful, and honest. They told me the vegan chicken was similar in taste to the real thing whereas the ham tastes fake.

I used to be a huge fan of Cruzers — the Artichoke pizza being my favorite. I always enjoyed the crust and found the phone and delivery crew efficient and friendly. Last night however, everything was yuck. The crust was chewy, the toppings were smaller and the pasta was so wrong, I didn’t event want to feed it to my dog. Stay away from the chicken parm. The Hawaiian was OK — but nothing really good — and as I mentioned lacked toppings.

They make one hell of a pizza: good crust, generous toppings, and it’s not too oily. I like the Glendale Cruzer way better than the Los Feliz Cruzer. The one in Los Feliz is purely vegan. Being Vegan is healthy and all, but seriously, I’m ordering a Pizza. I expect pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon or chicken on my pizza — not tofu, alfalfa or nuts and seeds. Their lasagnas and pastas are pretty good, but I wasn’t sold on their cheese-steak. At the end of the day though, the place is called Cruzer’s pizza and they do pizza right.

From now on, get all your pizzas at Cruzer. Yes, it’s more expensive than your cheap Dominos brand whose pies are 75% grease and 25% actual food, but your waistline and most importantly your taste buds will thank you for it later. Never again must we respond to every late night pizza craving by engaging in a torturous«Should I» or «Should I not» mental battle of having to compromise between health and taste. Cruzer is proof for vegans and dairy slurpers alike that pizza can both be sinfully delicious and good for you. It’s an all around guilt-free indulgence. Who knew faux cheese can be better than the real thing? Must get the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the vegan calzone.

What’s this? A dream come true? Perhaps. If not, it’s real, real close. Why’s that? Why did this little girl alter the fairy tale dream of livin’ in a castle being swept away by a prince on a white horse to having frickin great vegan pizza with Daiya cheese that actually melts? Cause it’s exceptionally hard to find awesome vegan pizza, vegan cheese usually sucks, and I’m a realist, ‘K, and the guy on the white horse is probably a carnivore. Blgh. Any-who…Cruzers rocks my socks off and it’s close to work and they de-li-ver, plus, did I mention VEGANCHEEZ that melts? It’s delicious, it’s by far the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. Okay, guys, I’m going a step further and day dreaming back to my pre-vegan days and saying it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had, vegan or nay. Get one. Vegan. In Glendale. Who knew?

Great pizza at very good prices(especially if you use their coupon). My roommates and I order from here all the time, and it’s fantastic.

I was desperate for some lasagna and happened to have a flyer in my mailbox for this place. So what the hell, lets give it a try. I decided on the meat lasagna and my friend had the ravioli. Take out or delivery? Delivery! I am gonna sit on my couch and watch Forbidden Kingdom while I wait for most likely«ok» food. They said it would be about 30 – 45 mins. That’s ok. I’m not in a hurry. Twenty minutes later dudes knocking on my door. Wow. Fairly fast. Report card– Lasagna gets a 3⁄5 it’s pretty good, but lacks that ‘I gotta have it again’ factor. The ravioli is delicious! 5⁄5. It’s all cheese Ravioli with good sauce that doesn’t take over the flavor. O and, they gave me a refrigerator magnet. What more could I ask for?! I’ll update later on the pizza.
