I like this place, great location on the corner of W Silver Spring Dr into the Bay Shore shopping area. It’s kinda odd being on the back side of a bank, but parking is easy if you park there and walk to the front. Staff is friendly and courteous, coffees are solid w/o an off taste I sometimes find at independents. A plus for me when in town is they have breakfast sandwiches and some lunch items, where most other coffee shops only have pastries. This used to be a Caribou(?) which I liked a lot… don’t know why they’d leave such a prime location, but they did, and Fiddleheads fill the gap… thanks!

Extremely slow service and there was no line– plus cider took forever to cool down to palpable temperature!

Smelled like something was burning, very acrid and noticeable when I walked in the door. When I asked the staff, they blinked mutely at me and replied, «Huh?» Not the most lively or engaged staff, and I couldn’t understand a word the woman mumbled to me. Cappuccino was served lukewarm, and the tables were all dirty, though there was little traffic. I originally planned to sit and read with my drink for a bit, but between the smell and the trash, I left with my lukewarm cap immediately. Not a fave.

I come here often to grab my bread for the work week…$ 2!!! It’s pretty good bread and I really like the whole wheat. The customer service though with a smile isn’t all that great and the bathroom was really dirty and trashy. Maybe it was just a bad day…

I am a fan of fiddleheads. I have been to three locations(thiensville, mequon, and bayshore). Mequon is my favorite because of the size and large amount of comfy chairs. This is a nice location but on the smaller size. I would avoid it during peak hours or weekends. I love their bakery and fresh baked bread. Staff is always very friendly at all their locations.

Very cozy, great lunch sandwich and soup options. They crack me up when they ask«would you like chips or carrots» .This pumpkin spice coffee is just the right amount of bold and sweet heavenly awsomeness.

Elaine Benes would approve of these muffin stumps! Like Elaine, many of us find the tops of muffins are the tasty part, and the stump that sits inside the typically soggy wrapper to be a throw-away. But not at Fiddleheads. The Blueberry Muffin($ 1.59) was moist and tasty, with large fresh berries doting every bite. There was just a hint of raw sugar sprinkled on the top, which enhanced the sweetness of the berries. They also boast an impressive array of Rishi Teas, which always strikes a chord. A minimum of four caffeine free and eight caffeinated choice are menu standards. Price are very reasonable, $ 1.59 — 2.99 for standard sizes. Also noteworthy is their house coffee blends. Since I don’t drink coffee I can’t help you with taste, but if smell is an indication, these are fabulous. This location is VERY clean and employees are always friendly and efficient. This is a great locally owned option in a plethora of chains in this neighborhood!

Mediocre food and coffee. The staff is arrogant and unresponsive when greeted TWICE. I guess the only way to be served warmly is to refuse bathing and usage of acceptable manners.

Good filler coffee joint. Glad that Caribou got replaced by another coffee place, you can never have too many options for coffee! I’ve been three times and have always found this place pleasant. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; which is necessary when navigating the menu. They have a surprisingly large tea menu which is super nice! But let’s cut the old crap cake here people! They need a stronger dark roast! I bleed coffee and I’m a women who orders coffee like a man… a cute dainty man… but a man none the less. I like a large cup of Joe when I need a pick me up. No syrups, whipped cream, or sprinkles, just raw caffeine to inject and my cuppa from Fiddleheads didn’t make the mark. I’ll stick to Starbucks or Colectivo for my serious fix and come here for the novelty of new drinks. Sooooo… If you want to try something new, or tea… or brown water that’s masquerading as coffee this is your spot. Overall, I like you Fiddleheads. You can be my side piece, just not my main boo!

:) I can say I am pleased Fiddleheads has opened up a new location at Bayshore mall. They seriously have the best lattee guys seriously! The bakery is only so so in my opinion its usually not so good and pricey. The food is pricey but pretty good usually. I think its your standard fare! the staff have always been super nice plus if your a LA FItness gym member you get 10% off your entire purchase all day every day. So thats a perk way to network with other businesses. I like fiddleheads. How can you not like a business with the name«fiddleheads»!

Glad that Caribou Coffee’s premium location has been filled, but got really sick from having the mulled apple cider. I don’t drink coffee but enjoy winter warm drinks. First time I thought I must have the flu or something, but when I got really sick(not a pretty picture) a second time, I just knew what the cause was. Please double check the freshness and ingredients on how this drink is served as I’d hate to see a local company get cited and fined for Dirty Dining!

I really love this place.. I have tried a few of the drinks n get soup almost everytime I go. The soup is good and it tastes fresh… I like the open space n set up n its right over by my work less than a 5 min walk for me. The coffee isnt bad n I like the variety of specialty drinks they offer as well as the the norm. The service is quick and is always friendly. The employees really look like they are enjoying their job and are happy to help all you have to is ask. My only complaints is that it is a little expensive for the amount of food that u get n it gets crowded quick. Other that its a fast place to get something quick to eat.

I stopped in to grab a coffee drink between running errands. Let me preface by saying that I prefer the kind of drink that taste less like coffee and more like sweet yummy goodness — hence, I **ADORED** Caribou. I do like what they did with this space, it is open and relaxing. They remolded the ceiling and there is a ton of natural light coming in through the turret. There were 2 baristas working during my visit, they were friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. I ordered a medium sized specialty«Hawaiian Christmas.» The drink was good, but not as sweet as I had hoped for… there was really a lack of any chocolaty-type flavor and much more coffee. However, I cannot recall if it was suppose to be a mocha or a latte, but the description made it sound like it would be rich. There were distinct flavors of coconut and macadamia nut, as described. I also felt like the drinks were on the price side; as I recall it was just over $ 5 for a medium drink. Granted it was a specialty holiday beverage but I felt it was $ 1.50 too much. Due to the location, I will probably try other drinks and I’d like to try the food. Individuals with a pallet for coffee will probably prefer this place over the previous coffee shop. However, my heart will long for Caribou’s rich chocolatey drinks.

The Glendale café is the fourth location of Fiddleheads, a small coffee roaster in Ozaukee County region. The café offers beverages, soups, sandwiches, and bakery(Bakery is produced at the Thiensville location). The baristas whipped up my order promptly, but I did notice the drink was sweeter than what I’ve had at other coffee shops. Seating is barstool seating facing the windows and also tables and chairs. Seating is set up for 2 top tables: I didn’t see any tables set up for a group of 4 or more. The high ceiling windows and street side windows definitely allow for enough daytime light, and the café seating area and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Quiet place to chill away from the hustle and bustle of Bayshore Town Centre and some of the busier cafes in the area.

Housed in an old Caribou Coffee, the newest location to the Fiddleheads franchise has made some changes that make stopping here for a cup of Joe worth the trip. The old layout had a lot of clutter with a focus on pushing in-house sales of various Caribou stuff. It took a lot of room up that could be replaced with additional places to sit. Now, the stuff for sale is gone along with the shelves. It’s open and airy with a pretty impressive ceiling. Long window seating along Silver Spring Dr. gives way to people watching, day dreaming, and plenty of light to say the least. While I’m not a huge fan of their coffee, it’s still convenient and offers plenty of parking behind for a quick«in and out.» Very friendly baristas are at this location. You can tell the take pride working there. I still have yet to try the food. I’ll have to update my review when I do. Overall, glad to see the space utilized versus left empty.
