Glen Elk Mkt

I was here few days ago for some dairy and fruits and I have to say it was the dirtiest store I have ever been to. The store was Awful and smelled terrible. Dead insects On the floor and old vegetables all over the store.
DO NOT shop from here. Disgusting and dirty.

We used to buy all our fruits and vegetables from big stores such as Golden Farms, Super King, etc. While their prices were great, we always had an issue with the taste of the product and how it would go bad so quickly.
After some research, we discovered that there are different tiers of produce sold on the market and essentially what we were getting at those stores were closer to the bottom of the barrel.
Whenever we visited my mother in law, she always served us great tasting fruit and she shared her little secret, Glen Elk market. She has been shopping there for more than a decade and claimed that they handpick fruits to ensure that they only get the best product for the money.
So we have started to shop there as well and came to discover that their prices are only nominally higher if any. But we forewarned, you are going into the trenches where you will be shopping side by side, in a tiny store, with a bunch of lifelong housewives on a mission to get in and out as fast as possible, hence the –1 star.
