Glendale Meat And Fish Market

I’ve been to Glendale Meat Market plenty of times. I do love their selections of meats, deli and cheese but their service and the general lay out of the store is what gets this place 4 stars from me.
I’ve never been approached and asked if I needed any help and i’ve been coming here for years. Probably figure I already know what I want, need and where I can find it. But still, not like I own the place and know where every single item is, or what it’s used for. I’d like to ask questions about a particular spice, or if they carry a specific item i’m looking for.
And the market is so cramped. It’s a small store, which makes it super homely, but i’d like a few more spaces between me and the other patrons. Major violation of personal space going on here.
I digress, i’m gonna keep coming back here because they have the things I want. Like the various kinds of cheese plates they have in the dairy section. For only 4 bucks and some change, you can get a really nice variety of cheeses to try. Yum! #cheeseislife (do hashtags even work here? Probably not huh)

Wow! I love coming to this place for my BBQ meat! The meat is always fresh and tasty. Every time I get meat from here I’m never disappointed. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will always come back for all my bbqs! Thank you!

Very clean the variety and marination is the best Raz is always very helpful and knowledgeable about his meat he marinated asatrina fish for me special seasoning I took it to a get togather and everybody loved it best meat store in Glendale

FRESH! CLEAN! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The management has changed, and what a difference! The store has fresh meat but I personally love their fish. Additionally, I got the chance to buy my furry friend/​dog fresh bone which I found out can be ordered, as well. During my visit I ran into a customer who had travelled from Vegas but makes a stop every time she’s in town. I will definitely return! Thank you for great service :)

Solid meat and cheese selections! This place is a very typical Armenian deli (no surprise, it’s Glendale!).
Growing up in and around these types of shops, I felt right at home. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to help you find what you need. Their stock of basic pantry items, fruit juices, and dry goods is excellent. What most surprised me was their huge selection of imported alcohol. Some of my favorites I haven’t been able to find elsewhere (Kinsmaurali, Ararat, Russian Vodka, Armenian Brandy) at great prices. Their chocolate and ‘banbanerka’ selection isn’t the most extensive, but it serves it’s purpose.

I came to this location a few days ago to purchase a few cuts of meat for a dinner party. They had a great selection to choose from, all fresh and clean cuts. The owner and employees were great, I could tell they knew what they were doing. I ended up buying more than I intended too, just to try their products. I love it all! I made 3 different dishes and they were all hits!!! I can’t tell you how many times I was asked about the meat. Definitely my new favorite meat market!

I give this meat market a 5 star because of how much this place has improved it’s quality. As I mentioned before, I am a picky eater. This place brings the best out of Armenian BBQ. The taste of the marinated BBQ chicken breast makes me want to lick my fingers after. Also, I had bought 1 white trout to taste it and I was not surprised that I wanted more (so I came and bought 3 more for the family). I feel like the prices also fit the quality. I am glad this place is under new management because it is close to my house. I highly recommend this place. :) I’m one happy customer.

I’ve went twice to this place since new management took over and I must say, I’m sooooo glad they did! I won’t be one of those novel writer reviews, so here it goes:
The service was great! Which is not typical in Glendale. They were patient and had a smile on their face.
The owner’s name is Razmik and this guy knows his meat! I was impressed and actually learned a few things myself.
The quality of their meat is better than most, I researched this! The taste is a bit different (we’re not use to healthy stuff) so talk to him about what kind of meat you want, he’ll take the time to talk to you.
I’ve purchased Ground beef both times for macaroni and it was very fresh and had a great taste to it.
Prices — Totally reasonable!
