I visited the mall with my wife last night and she wanted to try La Vaca. While she visited the rest rooms next door I proceeded to check out their menu and figure what looks good. At which point a lady came to the counter and wanted her meat heated up or perhaps cooked some more. Didn’t really heat but it’s irrelevant to this review. The guy behind the counter was very nice and polite. He took the partially eaten thin sliced meat pieces, took out s skewer with two large steaks on it from the fire grill behind him, placed the ladies steaks on top of the steak pieces and used that to heat up the customer’s steaks. The customer meats from a partially eaten food box sitting on top of steaks that would be sold to other customers. Yuk. Not sure if what I saw was an anomaly or if those meats were going to be thrown away for some reason or another or the steak meats were not meats but actually s pan that looks like steaks or exactly what I saw. All I know is that this is gross and regardless, it still leaves a gross impression in my mind. Needless to say we walked to another food place. You’d think with all the food issues in the news that they would do a better job training their people. To finish this negative review with some positive impressions let me say that the people were amazingly friendly and nice. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. The food smelled fantastic.

Wow, a delightful surprise in a mall food court! Although the selection is a bit limited(No mutton) the meats, side dishes and the ingredients are simply splendid. At first glance, you would beg to differ but once you get your plate and start eating it, yummers! Although not like Pampas, they do their best to get the meats grilled to a blissful medium. They weigh your choices, so you choose what you want and like. They accept Credit with $ 5 minimum. Glad they opened at the Galleria!

This place is the best in the food court, every time when I come here, I always see everything clean, salad bar looks amazing and hot dishes looks fresh. Frendly staff always offer samples, prices for what you get in this place it’s good. Picanha, garlic beef and spicy chicken the best. They have my favorite drink Guava juice… I’ll come back soon… For sure…

We love Brazilian food and this Restaurant has everything than we like. They do not have frozen food or greasy food, We always get shrimp salad, potato salad, quinoa salad, garlic rice, collar greens, fried plantains, cheese bread, Picanha, linguica, spicy chicken and garlic beef. Add chimichurri sauce and bbq sauce on your steak. Little expensive but we really enjoy the food. Good service…

Average tasting food and super high pricing for two pieces of meat with bland sides .that is ok we can always expect high pricing in the malls but what is the most upsetting factor was how their employees are so in welcoming specially the girls who are undertrained and they roll their eyes upon asking a question the second time like they are giving away free food. bad experience I would totally drive a bit more and find POMPAS Brazilian Grill. I wish they had a 0 start option

This place is so good! It is my go to place when I can’t go to Fogo. Marcos was an awesome server! So helpful and he got me the perfectly cooked meat!

Really good food. most food at the mall is regularly just something to fill your hunger but this place is a great place to dine. Of course you’ll still be seated in the food court but your meal won’t disappoint you. A must try. I’ve ate at most Brasilian churrasquerias, as its one of my favorite and this place I just as good if not better than most.

I thought this place was great. I love picanha meat and it’s hard to find good picanha around, especially at a small fast food restaurant in the mall. I really like the fact that this place has a tray where you can just put whatever you want on there and they charge you by weight at the end of the line. This is great because you can get to try all these kinds of sides that they had to offer. I’ve tried a lot of those sides, and most of them are ok. My favorite sides would have to be the cheese balls, dark green salad, and tomato salad. This time that I went, the cheese balls were actually really salty. It used to be much better. So yes, my recommendation when going here, just get picanha, cheeseballs, dark salad, and tomato salad.

I wish I can give a 0 star. First of all I’m a usual customer. So I do enjoy the food no doubt. I was using my stamp card for my meal. I used two plates to share with my wife. They told me I can’t use the stamp card for discount because the each plate was under one pound. So I said, uh hello, each plate is under a pound but when two plate is combined it’s over a pound. The manager said no, it has to be each plate. I’m like, hello, I’m a same person paying the the meal. Ok, so let me manually comebine the food in one plate then. Do I get the discount? They said, yes. That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. So they made me dump my food in one plate and throw a way a good plate no stupid rules they have. I’m a pretty fair person, and a usual customer, but that is ridiculous. I’m never going to this place. That’s what you call a poor management. They rather loose a great customer over sticking with a ignorant rule.

The lady at the counter was extremely rude. I was standing at the register for 45 seconds waiting for her to stop counting the money she had in her hands to serve me, to which she eventually did with apathy and complacency. The meat was cold and overpriced. Will never eat there again.

I am very fond of churrascarias. I had been to this place a few times, but consistently found their meats to be over-salted, particularly the picanha. I was in the mall again today, and decided to give them another try. I’m happy to report that it was much better! This is real food, not fast food or typical mall food. I’ll definitely be back.

Mall food at its best! Why do the typical options when this is the most convenient choice at the Glendale Galleria Food Court? It’s pay by the pound for the best of Brazilian meat options. Bacon wrapped chicken breast, seared sirloin, and a plethora of other grilled carnes. There’s also a cold and hot buffet offering other dishes of the region too. Sure there are fancier places than this in LA, but none that are this cheap for the same deliciousness!

I went here on Saturday and about 4 hours later I started throwing up real bad. Spent the rest of the night waking up and throwing up. Not a good experience. I called them today and to them. The guy ask with an attitude, what do you want? I told him nothing but to watch out. Your food is making people sick.

Good customer service, food is good but pricey for the quality of the poultry — too gamy and the beef a bit fatty. The rest of the sides will satisfy the craving.

Yes, this place has finally re-opened! For those of you that were saddened by the fact that La Vaca had to close down for most of the summer for renovation(like I sure was), I was overjoyed when I saw that they finally came back! To those not familiar with La Vaca, it’s a Brazilian churrascaria in the Glendale Galleria that serves a nice amount of grilled meats and veggies. Here’s a few things to know if you decide to visit here: #1) The food is self-serve except for the meats. You choose your veggies, rice, and some other hot dishes and then you tell the server which meats you want(make sure you tell them how many pieces you want of each one). #2) As of 09−09−14, the price for 1 pound of food is $ 15.95. It’s definitely a bit steep but for the kind of Brazilian-style meats they serve without having to visit the upscale restaurants, it’s a price I’m willing to pay. The number of grilled meats isn’t as plentiful as you would find over at M Grill or Fogo De Chao, but you can’t go wrong with the picanha, the alcatra, the chicken breast wrapped w/bacon, and the Portuguese sausage. I always make sure that I have multiple pieces of each one on my plate along with some ribbon pasta and stroganoff. YUMMY! I know many Unilocalers have had some bad things to say about the food but I can’t help but disagree. The food is always tasty and, to me, it’s better with salt! I had to knock a star off the rating becuz the price can be steep especially if you go over 1 pound, but I don’t really care cuz I need my Brazilian fix so I’m gonna pay it! Sure, I could go to M Grill or Fogo but I ain’t got time to make silly reservations and dress all nice!

I really like the food here. It’s fresh and spicy. You can mix and match they have chicken, beef BBQ with different seasonings. My favorite is the garlic beef! They have a salad bar and Platinos. They charge by the pound, but they do have a return shopper card they punch every purchase.
