After a long week of stressful work and poor food choices, my body was genuinely crying out for something healthy… Seriously it was almost like a craving.
Anyways, I ordered the salmon Greek salad (based on Unilocal reviews) and may I add– Unilocal reviewers did not bend the truth one bit!
That salmon practically melted in my mouth and you can tell everything from the olives to the cheese to the dressing were not some store bought toppings…
So, watch me go eat there everyday for the next two weeks. :)

Omg!!! So my dad and I pass by this place like ever days and today we decided to stop and try. Boy was that a good idea this food is so good!!! Going to come back again! I’m so going to tell others to try

Food looks better than it tastes! Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of it. My co worker and I came here during lunch. First off this is a really small place and parking I couldn’t find it. I had to park across the street and jay walk. The people working here are super friendly and very very nice. The chipotle chicken wrap that I ordered was okayy I actually gave the other half to my Husband and he didn’t care much for it. I just didn’t like the chicken it didn’t go well with the other ingredients. I expected more of a tex mex type of wrap but than mixed in with middle eastern type of chicken No bueno. My co worker ordered the lamb gyro and he felt that it was lacking flavor. The interior is really cute and as I said before the people working here were nice. I had a sample of their spinach yogurt and it was delicious. Might just have to come back and try something different but unfortunately this place didn’t knock my Unilocal socks off.

So glad we came across this place! Chipotle Chicken wrap is incredible!

Great little spot run buy friendly young people. The ingredients in our kabobs were fresh and tasty. You can see the kabobista working the grill right behind the counter. The house-​hummus is delicious as is the Greek salad. The lulu is very flavorful and the salmon was perfectly cooked.
We’ve found a new spot in Glendale!

The food here leans on the healthier and lighter side of Mediterranean food. Friendly staff. Cute outdoor patio. Parking isn’t great. A good place to pick up food for takeout though.

Always great food and friendly service. The chicken is cooked perfectly. Never been over done or dry! Great place to grab a lunch.

Small, cute establishment, with lots to offer. The shrimp kabob dinner was large enough for my friend and I to share. The humus had great flavor and the pita bread was thin. Indoor and outdoor seating and good customer service. You may have trouble parking but it’s definitely worth the stop.

Ordered from here and dined-​in a few times. The food is consistently so fresh and their service is never questionable. Their salmon salad is AMAZING. For the amount/​quality of food, this place is definitely worth the price. Also, I work in Glendale and they’ve delivered to my office which was nice!

My brother and I tried the chicken plate kebob and absolutely loved it !
The meat was tender, the rice was nicely done and the appetizers that came with it were delicious !
We loved the service with a smile and we’ll definitely come back.

This place is amazing!!! The place is clean, great service, and the people working there are super nice!!! I took my parents for the first time and they loved it! This is my second time going to Lemon Zest… The food is tasty and the price is reasonable bc the amount they give u is huge! Btw they gave us 3 Italian cannoli for free!!! Well if u love Mediterranean food come to lemon zest, you will definitely love their food and their service.

I really liked this place!
Got take out for lunch and it was a simple quick process. I ordered the chipotle chicken wrap to go over the phone. One bummer is parking because they didn’t seem to have a parking lot, but there is some street parking and there was a slight alleyway that had two cars. I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to park there but I did anyway for a few minutes.
I got in and the little café was pretty busy with patrons waiting and eating in. It seems like a relatively simple, family/​friends owned operation with about 3 workers. They also seemed to use super fresh ingredients and didn’t pre-​cook stuff until they received the order, which is awesome! They were just making my wrap when I walked in. They give you an enormous wrap (that could be two meals if you could practice portion control), pickled yellow peppers, and pink pickled cabbages. To me they both tasted pickled with the peppers being slightly spicy, and I’ve never had pickled cabbage that way but it was definitely good! Just thinking about it made my mouth water with the sourness. They also give you a bag of chips which was a pleasant surprise (just standard fried lays).
On a whim I also ordered a square of baklava because it looked so good but one star is off because of that, though it had good flavor it was incredibly greasy! Like the little paper underneath was totally soaked and my mouth and fingers were covered in grease after. They had also forgotten a fork and napkins as well. Anyway despite the tiny mishaps, and the parking I can’t wait to come back here for lunch. The chipotle chicken wrap had great flavor, doesn’t have pesky onions so you can still be a part of society after, and is made of super fresh ingredients.

Busy street yet the patio was lovely. Nice, solid, comfy chairs that were easy to move. Seriously, that makes a difference. Elevates the experience. It was one of my clues that this was not a place that «phones it in». Blink and you’ll miss it as you drive by. It’s tucked in behind a mini-​mall, just plunked in there as the residential buildings begin, across the street from Marshall Elementary, no sign.
The kebobs were juicy, flavorful, and generous. I loved the sour beef! And my friend’s lamb was melt-​in-​your mouth delish. The spinach & yogurt was thick and creamy with an addicting amount of garlic. Tasty dolma & roasted eggplant, fresh hummus & pita, huge, flavorful falafel that could be eaten like a mini-​doughnut, and a perfect, abundant salad. I can’t comment on the chicken kebob platter because that was devoured by my other companion before I could grab a bite. Looked fantastic though…
We were there for dinner at 6:15pm. We ordered & paid at the counter inside. It took ~30min for the food to arrive. A reasonable amount of time for fresh ingredients to be properly perpared. This is a café after all, NOT «fast casual». I’m sure they take phone orders for the lunch rush. And that’s what I’ll do next time when I swing by for what looks to be excellent wraps & gyros. Can’t wait!

I don’t usually eat Mediterranean cause we eat it at our house way too often (since I’m Mediterranean). But decided to check this place out. Good lord it’s great. The food is awesome. I got a chipotle chicken wrap and it was derricious! My boyfriend got the flafel wrap and they were both amazing.
People were nice and so was our atmosphere. The only thing that I didn’t like and unfortunately not controllable, was some flies. Oh and I was on crutches so seating was kinda cramped but whatever lol.

With a very narrow window of time to eat dinner, my friend and I descended upon Lemon Zest Café, another of many Unilocal finds. We were headed to Glendale, and this was very close to our destination. My friend ordered a chicken wrap, although I’m not sure specifically which one, while I ordered a lamb gyro (I didn’t know there was any kind of gyro other than lamb, but apparently here, there is.) Regardless, it was very tasty, especially with it being loaded with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, feta cheese and Persian yogurt. It was served with potato chips, which I found to be a funny, strange accompaniment to a Mediterranean dish, but I’ll go with the flow.
The place is small, and because the indoor dining area was quite stuffy, we ate outside, which was very pleasant. They were a little on the slow side in getting us our food, but honestly, part of that might’ve been that we were somewhat pressed for time and didn’t want to have to wolf down our food. However, it all worked out in the end.
