Service here is beyond awful! I came to line as I saw a little boy walk off from the line. I was next amd the cashier women kept talking to her worker next to her. I continue to wait since shes not explaing if Im waiting for the boy to come back or what. I go ahead and asked her if she was waiting for the boy, she looked at me and continued talking to her co worker. RUDE!!! Finally when I ordered she didn’t even give my eye contact or was polite. For what I’m paying the least I can get is good customer service. As I came to Unilocal and write this review I read what happened with the disable guy and I’m disgusted by it. so definitely won’t be returning here or referring them to no one but Gordon Ramsay!!!

Change and or train your team Mr. Masis. Disabled people need all the love we can give them. What is it with you to lose $ 3 just for the day? That plate cost you guys not more than 3 bucks u sold it for 10 and a disabled guy drops the food and you make them wait in line and worst knowing he disabled you also want to charge him again? Straight up jerks. Maybe it’s not the owners fault, maybe the team needs an upgrade. You will lose your business if this continues like this, if I was the worker and knew my boss had a policy where I can’t help out a disabled man or woman, I would help and quit my job in the spot and spit all over the place. That’s what I would do and so should everyone working there with a heart, otherwise they will all lose the job when the company goes bye bye.

I never cared for their food to begin with but after hearing about the incident involving the disabled man and how unwilling the workers were to help him out I’m truly disgusted and ashamed they represent the Armenian culture and our food. Your workers look like they represent the Nazi party. No smile, no personality I’m sure they are being micro managed by the owner. Treat your workers right so they can treat customers right. Never will I eat here again.

Massis Kebob is a cultural staple in the Glendale galleria. It’s fresh food and large portions make it a definite go to. The service is fast and they have pagers for your order. The prices are affordable and Kebob’s are great, however this is where it ends. The food: –koobideh plate: fresh juicy Kebob that is very tasty and cooked well. The rice seemed old, dry, not fresh, it kinda gets stuck in the throat. You have to eat it with the tomato in order to get the rice down the tube. The Shiraz salad is great. Fresh, perfect salted and good portion. –Cornish hen: about 8 pieces of small to large pieces of chicken that is incredibly soft, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. These tiny hens pack a punch of flavor. The remaining aspects of the entrée is the same as the previous plate. Dry rice, not so flavorful tomato, and nice Shiraz salad. Overall, the plate to get is the Cornish hen but they really need to improve on the rice and selecting ripe tomatoes.

I figured this be the healthiest choice at the food court and although the meat is fresh off the grill, it was over salted! I got the soltani and luleh combo and both were too salty. The salad was also very salty! Besides that if was $ 15, I should have walked a couple blocks to raffis.

Food court Persian-Armenian kabobs and sides. I’d never been before and asked if the plates came with sides. I was told they came with tomato and cucumber, so I went ahead and ordered some extra, as we will see. The koubideh(other cultures may call it kofta or kufte) was alright, fatty without being greasy, but a bit short on flavor. This was over an overly vast bed of buttered rice, with three pieces of unremarkable pita and an unevenly-grilled, too-hard tomato(of the cucumber there was no sign.) I also got an order of fries, which were pleasantly crisp, and a half order of excellent hummus. These were actually the best part of the meal, which is weird considering that the meat is the big thing here and there is a full view of the appetizing charcoal grill from the food court. Although I’m only giving it three stars I might actually go back here and order a bit more carefully. There are all manner of meats on offer, from chicken to steak to lamb, even fish, as well as various salads and vegetables. As well as fountain drinks and water there are a few beers, including large bottles of Armenian brews. One of these large beers, one plate, a half hummus and a fries was just short of $ 20 for more food than I could finish. As food courts go it’s a little on the pricy side but it’s clear where the money goes.

This is one of my favorite place to order food when I’m at the Glendale Galleria because the chicken kabob is really tasty and their basmati rice is always on point. The trout and tilapia with basmati is also good. I also like their cucumber yogurt and side salad. The only downside of this place is it takes a good 10 – 15 minutes(sometimes more) to get your order so if you are super hungry or in a real hurry, then you should skip Massis.

Only avg 3 stars? People have to remember that this is a food court/mall food, and it’s cook to order vs food sitting in bins waiting to be purchased. I think their food is delicious, portions are generous and well-priced! We normally order beef koubideh, chicken kabob or the combo, and if you don’t want the side, they will give you extra rice. I saw them plating the argentinian skirt steak and it looked really good and will try that next time. Staff is friendly and service is efficient– they buzz you when your food is ready. I have tried other locations and the cooks do make a difference with juicy or dried out meat… and I must say their Glendale location is the best with consistent flavor and cooking quality.

Wow! The Mgr Sarman was so cold n unprofessional. I had mentioned I ordered the delicious Honey cake n was given the darker one last couple weeks. It was for my Grandma n I asked if he can give her a discount since we’re regular customers. He said… No! Order now or don’t there is a long line. Other words Screw you lady n your Grandma. I paid him for my Food n another dessert to take home for my Grandma. I only asked a discount on the dessert not the whole Tab. He never apologized for giving me the wrong order. I was told by other customers who heard had said. That guy tells everyone he is the Owners Son n fortunately«He Is Not»!

Great food… but crazy process as it is inside a super busy mall food court! Prices are quite reasonable and the food is generously portioned. I had the koobideh kabob, half chicken half beef, came with rice, lavish bread and cucumber tomato salad and a roasted tomato! I added on the garlic fries and hummus and a drink and my bill was under $ 15. Nice! 20+ items on the menu… nice to find something so tasty in the mall! See you there!

Save your money and time by going next door to Panda Express, unless of course you have 30 minutes to spare waiting for you food that’s not even tasteful. Like most people, service was horrible as if nobody wanted to even work.

The staff is extremely rude. They talk and laugh amongst each other in Spanish when they take the order. Chicken cabob was very good but their customer service definitely needs improvement. There is no friendly here, no smiles towards their guests. Just plain rude.

The food was good but terrible service. First off– when I walked up, it was very chaotic, no organization of the line. I think two separate lines formed and no one knew what to do. I can say that it was nice that they have people buzzers after they ordered to make things a little more orderly. Once my buzzer went off I went up to the counter to get my food and the women serving the food pushed my tray to me and some of my chicken and rice fell onto the dirty counter that I’m sure hundreds of people touched and put their dirty purses on. The women didn’t even flinch. I had to pick my chicken up with my hands and put it back on my plate. I was clearly disappointed and didn’t want to eat the chicken but she didn’t care or offer to give me new chicken. She just looked at me like«well too bad» and continued on with her work. Overall the food had a good taste and I liked that it seemed pretty«homemade» compared to other food court options but I’m extremely disappointed that I ate«dirty counter chicken»

Mostly rice, barely any meat. My order was forgotten apparently and when I checked on it it was waiting by the kitchen ignored. For the same price I can get 2 lbs of meat, lavash, tomato and pepper at the Original Kabob Factory on Glenoaks instead of poor food and poor service. But what do you expect from food court.

Wow! I think I have had this at their other restaurant. And this is really good! Straightforward, fast, and well-priced! I wanted my fixin of kabob and got it! I got the chicken and the beef one. It’s plenty of food. I can’t see why other people don’t like this place from the low review ratings. I can see that they were very busy, but it’s the mall. The wait time was actually not that bad when I went. The meat is very flavorful, very tender, and plentiful. I like the chicken more than the beef actually. And the juices make the rice taste so good.

The food is good but service really bad. We ordered a chicken salad and they took 25 mins to serve and that’s because we asked about our order. The manager said it should only take 10 — 15 mins. If their servers would only be nice, it would have made a difference.

Food: Food was mediocre. I ordered the shish kabob plate and felt it wasn’t very tasteful. Service: There’s a big problem when it’s lunch rush time, and the ladies are taking their sweet time giving out the food. I saw my plate of food sit for 5 minutes on the area where they have their side dishes, then another 5 minutes in the hands of a lady gossiping to her workmate, and then another 5 minutes where it’s supposed to be picked up. I waited a total of 25 minutes to get my food. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.

Not a huge fan. While I love gyros this is just not the best, neither in service nor in taste. I went with the beef and it was dry, the sauces a bit lackluster and the veggies not really fresh. Prices are a bit high for the portion size and quality you get. Service was not only pretty slow but also just not very nice. I might give another location of Massis a try, but wouldn’t bother going back to this one.

Best damn thing to eat in this mall, period! I had a kabob craving struck as soon as I was done shopping! So glad Massis kabob was there to save the day. If you are impatient and don’t have the time, this isn’t the place for you. Just go over to Panda Express where they have food already cooked and sitting in trays. This is Persian food, take a look at them cooking your food on a open grill!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. I usually don’t eat kabbob that wasn’t made by people I know(weird I know!) but when you’re starving that question is out of the window! I got their chicken with rice and it’s came with bread and a bowl of salad! The food was really good! Perfectly seasoned and well cooked! I recommend this place next time you go to the mall!

If you’re tired of eating greasy or too junky food this place is a good option. Been here a few times before/during work times for lunch. Prices are decent and portions are pretty big, both times I was full within eating half of it. Service seemed to be great on my end and cleanliness. A few issues I encountered were… *#10(Salad with chicken breast) took forever, understand made to order, however, other orders after me were done already. *Asked for garlic fries but were only given regular fries *Steak was a lil over salted, it was better the next day with the hummus *Not much options on substitutes, if you want certain side you have to pay 2.95 which I don’t mind but also a waste when I don’t eat the other sides given. Also wish there was more than 1 option on a low carb plate. Other than that the food to this place are great, obviously, I’ll be coming back because I eat too many pizzas at home and I don’t need any more greasy food. P. S. If you’re curious about their yogurt drink don’t buy it. I’ll save you the 2.25 for the original one. Idk how some people will drink that. It felt like drinking cream cheese/sour cream.

Ummmm NO! Don’t do it! Mystery meat, terrible rice, bland soup, old salad. The list would go on if I’d ordered more. Thank goodness that’s all I endured. I felt bad because people walked by and saw us eating and then got in line. I wanted to stop them. You can do better at home for sure.

Not bad! Had the chicken & rice cucumber salad and a side of hummus. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious The grilled Roma tomato was the highlight here! Long grain Jasmine rice was just right the chicken kabob was s little rubbery but great flavor Pita bread was served cold(should be at lest warm or toasted) hummus was spot on for a Mall food court experience I was pleasantly surprised !! I will be back for sure!

Massis Kabob just finished their expansion into a new location(right across from their old location inside the Glendale Galleria food court area) and celebrated their grand opening today. Their new space is much larger than their previous space and they are able to accommodate larger catering orders now as well. I have always enjoyed their food and they always draw a large lunch crowd. You can’t really go wrong with anything that you order there. As you can see, they provide very generous portions… their combo I just got will be enough for me to have lunch and dinner! If you happen to frequent this location, one thing you will notice right off the bat is more staff and a faster line. They have even instituted a new pager system so when your food is ready, your handheld pager will light up and vibrate. They seem to be operating more efficiently now and I am sure the larger space helps. Happy kabobbing!!!
