I agree with other reviewers that she just wants to get you in n out as fast as possible.

Dr. Armenta just wants to get you in & out as quickly as possible. She does not want to take the time to answer your questions; in fact, she really does not want to listen to you at all. If she can throw a pill at your situation, she will, rather than recommending a non-pharma approach. I just came from her office & am not going back.

I was forced to take an annual appointment at 8:30 in the morning, as they don’t book them after 2pm. When I booked the appointment, I notified the receptionist that I needed to be out of there by 9:15 to make it to work. Got there at 8:25, door locked. waited outside until receptionist arrived. Sat in exam room in gown until 9am. At 9 am, I opened the door, peeked out, and asked the nurse if the doctor had arrived and was surprised to find out that she had not. 30 minutes after my appointment time, the doctor wasn’t even in the office yet! There was no emergency, as she is apparently habitually late in the mornings from what I was told. I put my clothes back on and decided to leave in order to make it to work on time. Normally, I would be forgiving about this, however, the fact that I have seen this doctor for close to 5 years and both she and the receptionist failed to follow up to apologize or book another appointment really rubbed me the wrong way. It is one thing for a mishap, but another thing to be completely dismissive. I am finding a new doctor and hopefully Dr. Amenta will respect her patients’ time and show some concern when she is nowhere to be found during a patient’s appointment. Oh, and a simple, «sorry,» goes a really long way.
