A lady server here in noypitz is so rude… telling us that we are not allowed to it in the bar… but we dont have table to sit, she dont even explain to us that food is not allowed in the bar and we really dont know that… she should offer us a table but she didnt… we even pay the entrance… noypitz is a nice place but server like her makes the place not good place to come…

I loved all the food I had here, the service and the Friday night drag queen entertainment. So cheesy, but so much fun! They also had a full bar here and different varieties of San Miguel beers. I hope they’ll create better cocktails with Filipino ingredients such as ube and calamansi. That’s something missing and haven’t found in the bar scene in LA. Don’t forget to order the leche flan, the best I’ve had at a restaurant.

I’ve been here just once and that’s all I needed. Never again will I ever come back here. Lousy service and the food was just ok. Plus you have to pay to get in here $ 5 per person and we came in an hour before 8pm. They said the cost was for the entertainment which starts at 8pm by the way. We said we just here for dinner and not the entertainment. They said we still have to pay and if we leave before 8 we will get our money back… ummm I thought that was ridiculous but whatever we ended up paying. Once inside and seated we asked the waiter for cups of water. Then I was shocked that they only serve a small bottle of water for $ 1 each. That was unheard of. FAIL #2. Anyways never ever coming back here. By the way we did leave before 8pm so we got our money back.

Let’s just say, I haven’t written a review in awhile mainly because I’ve been busy, but I had to make time to write this place up !! I really hate to be mean, but I gotta be honest & warn people about what they have in store for themselves. IF you dont want to read my long rant then here’s what I have to say in a nutshell because trust me, I have so much to say about this place… but basically I like how the place looks because it’s really nice inside, but the food/service(what usually makes up the restaurant) SUCKEDSOMUCH !!!(excuse my vulgar language) came here today 10÷24÷14 around 8pm and before arriving at the restaurant, ill be honest. I was pretty exciting because my family and I heard good comments besides the crappy parking, plus I heard there was live entertainment so that was a plus I thought… GUYS, REMEMBERTHATLOOKSCANBEDAMNDECEIVING ! driving by it I was so excited, it looked really cool & I can see why people would come in ! the venue is really nice, the lighting, the ambiance, everything had that«chill» vibe because it seemed like a club type atmosphere. MOSTUNORGANIZEDSERVICEEVER. After walking in, the host brought us to our table, but we didnt know what was going on because there were people crowded up on the table we were gonna sit on and the waitresses/waiters looked lost themselves. Anyways right when we sit down, our waitress I guess, who didnt even introduce herself, was just standing by our table looking at us like she didnt even know what was happening & my aunt goes«yes?» and the waitress replied… «are you going to order?» my aunt furious because we just sat down said, «we havent even opened the menu, we just sat down…» So the waitress just told us she was going to come back & my aunt cooled down so we thought we should give the waitress the benefit of the doubt. So we ordered our food, we ended up getting fish ball & the chicharon bulaklak(chicken intestines) for the appetizers & ive never had chicharon bulaklak but let me tell you, it smelled good but it was so gross… even my family(who regularly eats filipino food & who love that dish) thought it tasted bad but I mean ill give them props for our appetizers coming out quick. So when our actual main course came in(totally forgot the names of the food &cant find the menu online) we were ready to eat… okay the food was alright I guess, I mean it filled all of us up but we werent satisfied after. Basically saying we had no choice to eat the food cause we already ordered it but it tasted bland. Ran out of water alot, but our waitress(short/blonde/filipina) was never at our service, we had to ask other waiters/waitress to refill our cups, or if we needed something. Seriously, my aunt was ready to say something to the manager or whoever ran that place because our waitress WASHORRIBLE. She acted like she was superior everytime she came to our table, when she would pass by the tables & twill her hair and just walk right passed even if we needed something, she was so ditsy !! OH, and when we wanted to order dessert, she said the dessert wasnt cold yet… but they had a cupcake… like wtf this restaurant needs to get their act together im sorry. We asked her what time the live performance started, she didnt know the time and the name of the performers. all im thinking is HOW? how did she land a job here? Youre suppose to know whats going on in the restaurant, not only how to take orders and give the check !(which seemed like she couldnt even do) Im being really harsh right now and im sorry, but I really hope this review makes somewhat of an impact on that restaurant because with how things are going, this restaurant seems like it wont last. We tried to give the place/our waitress a chance but 3 strikes and youre out honey. just when you think things couldnt get any worse, they already added the gratuity which was $ 15… my aunt and uncle split the bill and honestly werent gonna give her tip but I told my aunt to be nice, so she was sadly gonna give $ 2 to her, but NO! they hustled us probably cause they know no one was gonna tip them so they already included it… I was so shocked because I didnt see anywhere on the receipt where they mentioned that gratuity was included for parties 4 and over or something along the lines of that. NEVERCOMINGBACK. I mean this was just my opinion, enter at your own risk but you guys have been warned lol. who knows your experience might be better than ours and I hope it will be because this place just sucked for us… youre better off going to MAX’s of manila, go there ! foods good & staffs friendly !

The food is amazing and I’m starting to dig customer service at this place. The food is just amazing and also the drinks are getting better and better. The bartenders on Saturdays sure do know how to light up the mood with the right drink. Overall I’m definitely coming back weekly.

Came here with friends on a Saturday night. We were one of the very first customers so we get to choose our table. Very nice and big place, right at the end of a whole street block. Parking was awful, valet for 5 bucks. When I asked valet guy if we can park on the side streets, he said: I don’t know, i cannot answer for you” thus showing very poor customer service training. But you can park across and by the sides when the city parking hours are relaxed on nights and weekends. This restaurant is just right across a Catholic church, so it feels kind of awkward when right on the glass walls, coming from the church, you can see gay comedy shows being performed, but this is Glendale, Southern California, so anything goes. Now, about the food, we ordered seafood bicol express, kare-kare, crispy pata and fried chicken. Everything was good and right to the traditional Filipino recipe, except for the weird kare kare that’s reeking of Skippy peanut butter, which is so fake, its not even edible. Then here comes the comedy show, the two performers were really good at their craft minus the part where they literally beg for donations, that ruined the entertainment part of the night. But the horror part of this night was when i entered the lady’s bathroom and found it so dirty and looks like it wasn’t even washed or wiped for weeks. Remember we were the earliest customer for the night, so I’m assuming the restrooms were washed for the night after the day service. The mirrors and counters have lots of cloudy water splash marks and the floors were like state park public toilets. The toilet bowl has dark brown rings on the water level. I complained to a waitress and there was no action done, for on my second restroom visit, the rings were still there. That’s really unacceptable. So better decide before giving away your time and money to Noypitz. You really will not get your sweat’s worth.

Held a private family event here and the service was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. It’s in a nice location and the space is very good for large group functions. It was also a great value and I highly recommend it.

This review goes for our WAITRESSANGEL. I can’t speak for the rest of the crew based on these reviews. But angel was our waitress on a Saturday night. Absolutely friendly, made the visit very welcoming. It was our first time at Noypitz so she suggested the dishes that were worth eating. My table ordered the calamari, sizzling sisig, crispy binagoongan, daing na bangus, and pancit canton. All pretty good dishes, especially the pancit. I think that was my favorite. Although it seemed as if she had 6 – 8 other tables, angel made sure every 10 minutes that our drinks weren’t empty and that we were satisfied. I have to admit the prices were a little too high though. Management should really consider lowering appetizer prices especially for the amount being served. That or serve bigger portions. All in all my table and I were satisfied with the visit. Thank you again angel!

Service here really«SUCKS», that’s how bad it is. To top it off they charge too much… for the kind of service they«don’t» give. My recommendation… go to «Gerry’s grill» in Cerritos. I eat there once/twice a month with my mom(very picky), brother(very very picky) and my son(good luck trying to get him to like the food!) lol… and each and every time we’ve had nothing but great service and great food! That is why we keep coming back there. Simple! Tokwat’ baboy, sisig, crispy pata, BBQ pork sticks, pakbet, fried tilapia, grill bangus and halo halo… all delicious!!! Those are the dishes we’ve had so far. Haha.

We recently celebrated my grandmother’s 90th birthday at this venue on July 6th. I had dined here previously on a number of occasions for both lunch and dinner, and the dishes were satisfactory. The food we had during those dining experiences deserves three stars. The waiters were very friendly and personable, and the food was authentic. However, I have to say I was underwhelmed by the food served at my grandmother’s party. It was nowhere nearly as good as when I dined there during lunch and dinner. The adobo was greasy and bony, the rice was grainy, and the service was a little bit dour. I really couldn’t call anyone helping us at the event friendly. After the pitchers of water at the tables ran out, every individual had to get their water at the bar. We had maybe 70 people in the banquet hall and there was no air conditioning. It was pretty brutal for a 4 – 5 hour event complete with a program and dancing with a lot of old ladies and babies present. For this event alone I would have given them two stars and that’s being generous, only because the MC really helped us during the program section of the event. But even that was a little off, because a few guests tried to request songs during the dancing, and he essentially blew them off, which I understand, but he also played a couple songs twice nearly back to back for no apparent reason. In summary, if you are really craving Filipino food and the wait at Max’s is too long but you still want a restaurant experience, this would be a mostly adequate alternative. However if you are planning an event, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are better venues with better food and friendlier service at a similar price. I wanted to give a better review due to my previous dining experiences, but sadly I was disappointed.

The plus: Food is good Friendly The minus: Deafening music. The sound guy must not have balanced the audio equipment. Huge servings but an expensive meal.(Take note of this) A bottle of beer is 6 bucs.(All I can say is… Pls. That’s just way to much) Conclusion. I might as well eat at home and drink beforehand next time I visit this place.

The food took about 45 minutes to get out. Took forever! Ugh! & we can never find our waitress! They do not check the bathrooms at all. The mens bathroom had wet floors without any«wet floor signs» and my boyfriend slipped but caught his fall by managing to grab a hold of the sink! So, my boyfriend told the manager that the bathroom floors were wet and that it could be dangerous for other customers we are going in there. Worst dining experience overall… Or ever!

Holy cow! This is the worst dining experience by far. Don’t come here if you are hungry and soon to be hANGRY. Regardless if it’s busy or not they will cater to you every 45 mins. Our waiter reeked of alcohol and was high as balls cause he was very. Very… VERY forgetful. Also our waiter mentioned to us that the credit card machine broke so we needed to pay with cash. Seems like a trend whenever I mention this to my friends who also dined here. To sum it up $ 300 cash presented to him and he walks away pocketing some money lol… One star because we went on a Wednesday night for my Grandmas birthday and it was Ballroom dancing night She loved it!

Here for birthday dinner on a Salsa night. We came in early and resto was half empty. I don’t understand how the food took an hour to arrive. What’s worse is that not all the entrees came together at the same time. The food was good but really waiting an hour for it to come who wouldn’t lose their appetite. The only redeeming thing is that our lady server was very pleasant. Although it did feel like she was 1 out of 3 servers In the whole resto. When we were finally done took about 30 minutes to get our check closed because they ran out of paper for the receipts. Terrible. In summary, food good, salsa night looked fun and was really packed. Service– add more servers

I was here a couple of months ago for my mom’s birthday dinner and I was very disappointed with the entire venue. First of all, the setting was horrendous! The chairs definitely look like they were presented for catering at a backyard party. Also, some of the utensils weren’t clean when we got seated. I saw a couple of stains in a plate and became disgusted by it. As far as food goes, it was okay. We ordered a variety of food such as lechon kawali for an expensive price. When you think of expensive, you would expect the food to taste amazing, making you want to get some more. However, when we finally got our food, it was mostly greasy and unappealing to my taste. Also, service would take a long time to order so be sure to order all food the first time around instead of ordering food one at a time. Although we had a great time laughing at the entertainers, they mostly spoke in Tagalog so my non-Filipino boyfriend didn’t understand the jokes at all. Also, the microphones were so loud that it was difficult to carry a conversation with any of the people in the group, but that was expected when there was a show going on to entertain the crowd. Lastly, I went to the restroom but I was not able to lock the door due to a door problem so my boyfriend had to stay in front of the door while I went inside. This experience was very unfortunate and because of this, I am not planning on returning here.

This place is great on a Friday night. It was so packed and crazy when we went because there was a panel for a Filipino soap that was visiting that night. It eventually calmed down a bit after they left. First off, they offer valet parking and the place looks really nice. It has a stage and a good amount of tables that eventually turn into a dance floor towards the end of the night. They first have the stand up karaōke. My friends and I had so much fun during their show and seeing people up the stage, with singing ability or not, gracing the stage and having fun with the 3 comedians. After, they had a live band who sang mostly 80s songs and some new songs.(I would suggest updating the playlist.) When we got there, the person who recommended the place said it beforehand that the service could be a bit bad. One of the reasons is that they are usually short-staffed, so we gave them a bit of a break. We decided to order our food early. If you are already aware in the reviews that the service is slow, I would suggest to have your order ready so that when the waitress DOES decide to get your order, you can give her your order and wouldn’t have to keep on flagging her to give orders every 20 mins or so. Another reason why the food takes longer is because they cook it as you order it, most Filipino food take really long to cook.(BELIEVEME.) Their food was really good, we ordered Kara-kare, Sisig, Bistek Tagalog, Lechon Kawali, Pancit, Fried Tofu and Sinigang na Baboy. Of all of the food on our table, I didn’t like their tofu or pancit so I’m pretty sure not going to order that next time. Everything else was good. I am basing my review based on the overall reaction of my non-Filipino friends who went there and it being my first time there. I will most likely not become a regular in NoyPitz but I’m pretty sure I will be visiting that place again. Thank you, we had a fabulous and fun time!

Wow, I’m surprised this place has such a poor rating. To be fair I’m mainly reviewing one dish and I was here for a party so there was no «service». The food was set out, buffet style. There were very few dishes I could have, since I don’t eat meat but whenever there are Filipino noodles, I can’t resist. The noodles(not sure if its considered Pancit or what) were so delicious. I just picked around the meat but the flavor was so good! I’m not even sure they’re on the regular menu but I’ll need to find out because I think I had 4 plates: O No regrets, just a happy belly.

Came here with friends on a Friday night. First you have to pay $ 5.00 for the entrance. They have good food but pricey, nice place, good customer service, great band(love the songs) but the only downside is the crowd. Lots of older peopler(late 50’s to seniors maybe) I was expecting of a typical gimikan in Manila like Hard Rock, Street Life etc where live bands performs and where the crowds are in their early, mid, late 20’s and early 30’s but not at this place. Me and my friends even saw a mom whom I think late 50’s dancing like a h*** **if you plan to go here, make sure you have a reservation or you will never be seated especially after 9pm(Friday & Sat).

Came here for a party and when I got in it felt like I was still outside. Hotter than a witches p___y! Omfg!(excuse my Tagalog lol) but damn I know we are trying to save on Electricity but dude turn on the air. You have a party going on! I really don’t known if they informed my friend of any apologizes but i sure hope they gave a big discount. And not for being excruciating HOT but also for not being table ready at 3pm. I can go on and on about how f’n hot it was inside but oh well. It is what it is! That’s why you only get 1 star for decent food. We got many dishes which was good and filling. Calamari= good but dude we had a full table give us 2 and make the plate full. Beef steak= onions not fully cooked. Had fries in that. Kare Kare= very good. Thick, extra meat Other than oxtail, tripe and veggies. Good job! Sinigang= I didn’t taste it cause I’m not a fan of that. White rice well it’s rice. Service eh could be way better. Fill up the water please with ICE cause it sure is damn HOT in here with NOAC. The funny thing is the billiard and downstairs bathroom is freakin cold. All that cold air should be going upstairs. WTF
