I don’t know why, but it’s hard to get«Atlanta» phở in LA or NYC. This place is great. Quick service. The broth is usually flavorful. They give a good helping for the price. My only issue is that they don’t put jalapenos in the bahn mi. I figure it’s for white people, but that whole mix really makes the sandwich. I come here at least once a week.

Yum… been here about 3 – 4 times and already won over as a fan. Is it the best phở? No. But possibly one of the best phở in Glendale? Yes! Meat is pretty tender and broth is good. There was once maybe that the broth seemed watered down but all the other times have been flavorful with a tinge of sweetness. I usually order the House Special that includes all the good stuff — rare steak, fatty brisket, tendon etc. I can tell that this phở does NOT contain a large amount of MSG, as I’m always fine after the meal — no racing heartbeats, no red flushed faces!(I am allergic to high doses of MSG). Thank goodness for this yummy and non-MSG Vietnamese restaurant. Service is great — the waiter that I see often is polite and nice. Restaurant is clean and tidy, everything looks pretty new from chairs to tables to plates. Check in on Unilocal for 5% off! Free small parking lot in front.

I like their phở quite a bit! Its not like OMG(which is why its not a 5 in my book although its close) but its very good and has a pretty subtle, healthy tasting flavor and I think is my new favorite in this area. Their thai tea is also really, really good too and I enjoyed their spring roll as well. Service was quick and extremely polite and friendly. This is a good one, and very authentic according to my vietnamese accomplice!

Always looking for good phở in Glendale so I was excited to try this new place. The phở here is pretty solid. I was feeling sick so I had the chicken phở and the meat was very tender. Their broth has a hint of sweetness to it. Wife had the rare steak phở and tasted the sweetness as well. It was nice that it didn’t feel overly salty as other phở places. They serve good portion sizes here and don’t skimp on the noodles or meat. Also checked in with Unilocal got 5% off. The place is very clean and the shared parking lot is small and can get chaotic. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

I love it! This will be our new Phở spot. I got the premium Shrimp, it was just perfect. Perfect amount of shrimp and very delicately flavoured broth. Their fried egg rolls are delish as well. Service is A+ very attentive and polite. Place is clean which is a major plus. Plenty of parking and seating. I will be back!

Went yesterday and ended up with MSG symptoms. Still have the headache. This is the unfortunate consequence when phở broth is extra tasty, as this was. I’ve heard that all phở has it but some chefs know how to use it minimally. This one apparently does not. I don’t understand the need to inflict customers with Chinese Restaurant Syndrome when there are other ways to give broth a great, rich flavor. No complaints otherwise. I’ll just have to try the bun next time I go instead of the phở.

Had their phở with steak, and I was very pleased. Nice clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and really enjoyed the bowl The broth was light but tasty, and the ingredients were all fresh. The price was great. I had gone to a phở place on Glendale Blvd for lunch, but they wanted 12.50 for a phở? Sorry was not going to happen with me. Glad I read the good reviews on this place and wanted to add mine to the list. Want to come back and try their sandwiches and make my way through the phở menu.

It was my first time here, It is clean and nice restaurant. As a vegetarian I was disappointed because there is no vegetarian food on the menu. Ryan was kind enough to ask the kitchen to prepare something without meat for me which was fresh and yummy. They were so polite, telling several times that they opened recently and they are working on their menu and promised to add vegetarian food on it. Waiting to see the change and come back.

This is my second time here and it was just as great! Had the ½ roasted chicken & tomato rice! Hubby had the house special noodles and they were both so good! The chicken was so juicy and tender and they use the small chicken which always taste better than the bigger size chicken. And the tomato rice is so chewy like rice cakes, just the way I like it! This is our new Phở place to come to! Totally recommend.

It’s a cold cold season and I am craving some Vietnamese phở. Thanks to my trusty Unilocal app once again… I came accross this place. After reading some of the reviews, I was sold and had to try this place out PRONTO. I’m glad I did because as we walked in, the owner or the worker,(not sure if he was the owner but he seemed like it). Anyways he was super attentive to us, we were seated right away. He quickly brought us rounds of water. Place is located in a small plaza. This was the only place that was getting a lot of people in and out. You would never known that this place will get packed because of its location but it sure does. They are definitely doing something right since this place just opened a few months ago. KUDOSTOTHEOWNERS. Now to the food. Making my mouth water just thinking about it. We ordered the phở special which came with beef brisket, tripe, and rare steak, and alot of deliciousness. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were plenty. We also ordered the pork vermicelli dish with egg roll. Definitely reasons I will come back here. Place is super authentic, food is on point, and service is GREAT.

The beef phở broth is excellent and they provide lots of basil, cilantro, and bean sprouts. I appreciate how carefully they pack up to-go orders. The broth was still hot and un-spilled on the car ride home. Prices are also reasonable, much more reasonable and tastier than the hipster places. I will be back. The one small flaw was their summer roll — it had some kind of strange meat patty in it. It was just okay. Other than that, I will dive into their phở broth all winter long. Thanks for moving into Glendale, Phở Hot!

It is so nice to have another phở place not too far from my home. Phở Hot is a bright and clean restaurant with ample parking and friendly service. Unfortunately, this is not a vegetarian-friendly restaurant. I don’t believe they offer a vegetarian dish/broth. Pretty much everything on the menu except for drinks had some type of meats in it. I did, however, enjoy their shrimp phở(regular size: $ 7.50), which came with tons of veggies(bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, lime wedge, and jalapeño slices). The broth had a lovely sweet start anise scent, and they did give me tons of prawn. Now that the weather seems to have cooled down a bit, it is a great time to enjoy a hot bowl of soup noodles.(Their Thai iced tea was pretty good too!)

Excellent base for their phở, as in light and not overpowering in any flavor like other places. Some other early reviews have claimed MSG but dont think so. Tastes natural and fresh. Good portion of meat as well. Also liked the rolls, fresh and made on the spot rather than prepared the night before. Very good. I ordered the iced coffee and was enjoying it. Closed my eyes and imagined cooling off on the beaches of Phu Quoc to the sound of the subtle waves and feeling of the hot sun when … what the phở?! No more coffee after three gulps. Way too much ice. Easy solution. Serve coffee restaurant rather than take out style in a seperate glass or small kettle and have customer pour over ice. If needed increase the price but current setup doesnt work, unless I am paying $ 0.50. In conclusion this place deserves your business.

For being a super picky eater, I must say I am very impressed. This place is as authentic as you can get. Please don’t come in here with strange Vegan /Vegetarian requests. This place is all Vietnamese, meaty good. The broth was flavorful, but light and did not taste overly salted. The chicken breast tasted good and was well-seasoned. We also tried the tripe which I recommend if you’re looking to have a 100% authentic Vietnamese meal. The shrimp and pork spring roll was yummy and had a trace of mint to it, making it a very refreshing appetizer. Being an avid lover of Mama Hong’s for years, I would pick Phở Hot as my more authentic go-to restaurant. Employees have some difficulty understanding English well, but they are very kind and will fix your meal for you with no objections if something is not to your satisfaction. Place is clean and affordable at $ 7.50 for a regular sized soup which is anything short of «regular». In conclusion, this spot is a hidden and new gem to the area.

This place is new in town and already getting great feedback. The place is open and clean. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Made recommendations for drinks and food. We ordered the egg rolls for an appetizer and they were large!!! Haha never seen them so long. Anyway they were good! I ordered the phở tom(shrimp) and my bf ordered the rare steak phở. There were plenty of noodles, the broth was tasty, and there was plenty of protein. The dishes were very filling and the prices were great! They gave the 15% off automatically even though we never mentioned anything about the grand opening special. So come on over and give this place a try if you are in the area. DONTPHO-GETABOUTIT.

I came here after work the other day when I was craving Vietnamese food. I’m Vietnamese, so I can be picky about my Vietnamese food and have yet to find a place in Glendale that I really liked. I saw this place just opened and so after a long 12 hour shift at the hospital, I came here looking for some comfort food. This place is on the smaller size, but very clean and open. For it being a weekday and just having opened, I thought that there was a good steady stream of customers. I checked in on Unilocal and ordered to-go. With my Unilocal check-in, there was a 5% discount, but since it there was a grand opening special for the month of 15% off, they actually gave me the 15% off instead, even on my take out order! I had no idea about the 15% off, so I thought that was great of them, definitely a plus in my book! I believe it is a family owned business and that the person who took the orders was probably one of the owners. He was very nice and you could tell he was a hard worker, taking orders, bring food, cleaning the tables. I ordered 2 bowls of phở tai(rare steak), dry noodles with grilled pork and egg roll, and a cup of ice Vietnamese coffee. My total was $ 24.27. Not bad at all for 3 items and a drink! I asked if I wanted the coffee first and I said yes, so I drank it while I was waiting for my food. The coffee was really good! I pretty much drank it all right away and it definitely woke me up for a bit! My food later came and they checked to make sure everything I ordered was correct. When I was given my food, I was asked if I parked far and if I needed help carrying stuff out. That was the first time I’ve been asked that! Another plus! But I managed to carry everything out. However, when I was walking to the door, the guy came and opened the door for me without me asking. Excellent service here and I hope that doesn’t change! I tried the foods when I went home. The dry noodles were good and the grilled pork tasted like there was lemon grass in it also. It tasted very good and I ate the entire thing! The egg roll was good as well. For about $ 7, that dish filled me up quite well. I waited until by boyfriend came home to eat the phở. I loved that they were each packed in bowls because then I did not need to get one of mine to use. I also liked that the meat was packed in a separate sandwich bag because that helped the blood from getting all over the place. I thought that the serving of rare steak in the phở was a pretty generous portion. Each bowl also came with a baggie of veggies. The soup also tasted very yummy! The serving of phở filled us both up. I’ve tried some other phở places nearby in Glendale and I liked this one much better than the other ones I have tried. For the month of October, there is a 15% discount, both for eating in and ordering to-go! The food here was good and service was excellent. You can bet I’ll be back here again!

Had a satisfying bowl of phở dac biet when I was sick. Gave it 5 stars because I was able to order in Vietnamese, unlike a lot of restaurants in Burbank that serves phở.
