When I first came here, I gave this place 2 stars(see previous review here). I was also disappointed with what happened after. After my visit and review, I wrote the company, who wrote me back and apologized, offering to reimburse me(or send something for a complimentary meal). At that point, I came here to update, saying I’d try them out again. Well, despite this food chain’s contact with me, they never did do what they said they were going to do. Never received anything. They failed on follow-up of a dissatisfied customer. And of course failed on my first visit. If this company — this restaurant chain — actually spent the SAME(or less) amount of time following through on their follow-up, rather than getting employees and others to write phony reviews here at Unilocal… wow. They engaged at least 5 people to write phony 5 Star reviews here(that have been filtered) after my first review. I think the review by Tony P.(not filtered) is also a shill. If you look at what he’s reviewed, it’s places like Taco Bell and other very low-end places. If he can’t find a good sandwich place in Glendale, as he claims, maybe he’s got to quit going to Taco Bell, lol. FOOD: D CORPORATECOMMUNICATION&FOLLOW-UP: F

For what it is, it’s pretty spot on. I’ve been excited to try this place since before they were open! THEORDER: Aloha Grilled Flatbread: 4.5 stars… I was about to NOT order this b/c i didn’t think they had jalapenos, and well, i need spicy with sweet pineaplle… then i continued to read the description and it said,…“and habanero sauce.” Ummmmm, fuck yes. I did end up putting crushed pepper on it, but, good choice, Andrea K., good choice. It’s HAM… BACON…Pineapple, Red Onions, basil, and cheese with a mango habanero sauce… yesssss! Greek Salad: 3.5 stars… nothing too special, but the red onions were great. And caesar dressing on a greek salad? it tasted good, so whatev! THESERVICE: 4 stars… I wish I had some cash to tip, but I didnt :( OVERALL… I’m excited… what a healthy alternative to pizza crust! I cannot wait to try all the different menu items :) WILLBEBACK! enjoyyy! xo– andrea

WOW! Sandella’s has the most amazing food I have ever tried! their Brazilian pizza and their chicken panini is to die for! I’ve been there a couple of times and the staff is so friendly and the place is so nice and cozy! For some reason I can’t go there without ordering the same meal… i can’t get over the sweet taste the Brazilian pizza gives off! yum! If you want something healthy and mouthwatering then you need to try this place! Wow! I’m so jealous of the people eating it now! You won’t be disappointed!!!

I have written 10 reviews either 1 star or 5, either i hate you or i love you and Sandellas I love it. I had the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla and my hairs on my body stand up when i think about it, i wish there was one in Pasadena but unfortunately there isnt. Ive been reading the reviews and I have come to a conclusion that the dush with the negative comments is a rival company lollllll J Bone J is complaining about the air blower when you open the door to keep the flys off his food, Sandellas leave the door open when this dush comes in btw if you hate the place why did you go back and write an update???

We just tried this new place, Sandela’s Flatbread Café. Looks truly trendy. Well, you can have a panini(rolled and grilled), a flatbread(flat pizza), a wrap(rolled but not grilled), or a quesadilla(folded and grilled). We both picked the flatbread, which was basically pizza on a cracker. My co-worker said hers was Ragu on a cracker with a tiny bit of mozarella. I had the buffalo chicken, which had even less cheese(if that were possible) and a few square bits of Costco grilled chicken on top. For $ 9 each. We won’t be back.
