I went to Shoe Tree in November to buy my son his first pair of shoes. I was hoping to get some expert advice on which shoes to pick and what size to get. Unfortunately, the sales person working there seemed to have no knowledge or interest in helping me out. I would have just left at that point and gone somewhere else, but we were about to leave for a vacation and I had a lot of things left to do, so I ended up buying a pair of Pedipeds. Two months later the seams of one of the shoes came apart. I don’t expect shoes to last forever, if the shoe falls apart in two months with my son not even being able to walk yet, there is something wrong with it. I called Shoe Tree and was told that they exchange shoes for manufacturing defects. I asked if they considered the seams breaking so soon a manufacturing defect, and they said they did. The next day, I went to the store, but the sales person refused to take them back. She seemed rather ditzy and immature, but ultimately offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase. I refused the discount, since even with that I can get new shoes online for less, and I refuse to spend any more money at this store. In retrospect, the assurance of the person I talked to on the phone that they would exchange the shoes now seems like a ploy to get me to come into the store make another purchase. Next time I’ll either buy my sons shoes online or will find a store that employs people who know something about the products they sell and care about their customers. Stay away from Shoe Tree at the Glendale Galleria.

There aren’t a lot of children shoes stores around anymore but I think I have found the best store for my niece and nephew. The cute Small store has a large selection of shoes from different sizes and brand name shoes for children. I got 2 comfortable shoes called plae for the munchkins and they loved it! Absolutely just love this place! I am going back for uggs that I have been eyeing for a while now.

They have so many varieties of shoes! Different styles and colors I love it! All the workers are always helpful. Very calm environment when shopping here too. They have almost all the pedipeds I’ve seen online. They also have a great sale now buy one get two free on selected items and I got lucky with the ones I needed!

I absolutely love this store! Every baby shower or children’s birthday I’ve went to in the past few years I’ve bought their gifts from here. the workers are very helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Everytime I am looking for shoes, I say to myself– Ok, I’ll give Shoe Tree another try. And every time I do, I am disappointed. The staff could not be less helpful. The shoes are relatively overpriced and their stock is super limited. My husband refuses to give our money to this store. We go to Wee Soles in Silverlake.

If I could, I would give this store a big, fat zero. Customer service is awful. One of the sales associates convinced us to buy our daughter some shoes that were a size too big. She claimed that they would fit better with some socks on(my daughter had on sandals). We had her try them on again at home but her feet were still slipping out with the socks. We couldn’t get back to the store until the following week. The same sales associate, a young female with(fake) blond hair, stated that the shoes were obviously worn and she would not be able to re-sell them. She only walked around the store during our initial visit! I took the shoes to the Shoe Tree at the Burbank Mall. They took one look at the shoes and didn’t hesitate to exchange them! I guess the Glendale store will do anything to make one lousy sale. Highly recommend AVOIDING this place. If you must, head to Burbank instead.
