Pretty standard dive bar. Decent prices. Our bartender was on her second day, so she was quite slow, but very nice. The owner seemed a bit dismissive — both of her and anyone who wasn’t a regular. I’d come back but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Terrible location closed over 30 minutes early and refused to let me use the bathroom at 1:44am the security guards name is James so he says. Will definitely be calling in the morning to complain about the service. Spent over 200 tonight and I’m disgusted by your service and location! Learn how to respect your customers and honor your actual «time closed»!!! Will never recommend this place!

I’ve been here a couple of times since it first opened, but last night’s service lead me to write my review!
It’s a great local spot to grab some great drinks (not pricey) and catch up with friends. Away from the hustle and bustle, it’s a nice place to unwind and just have a nice time. The owner is great, very personable and has done a great job revamping the bar. Definitely will be going back!

This is a great little bar with a solid liquor selection. Friendly place. Has karaōke some nights too. But overall it’s just a great neighborhood bar. It’s a great place to come grab a drink after work for me.

This bar is located near my boyfriend’s apartment so it’s our local spot to walk to and have a drink without risking a DUI. We used to walk to the Capri which is a few doors down, but it recently experienced some changes and just isn’t the same anymore. We decided to try out Sidebar on Halloween for the first time and were pleasantly surprised — what we like most is the laid back atmosphere and nice clientele. I wish the prices and pours were like the Capri — but at least they aren’t as bad as Neat (the bar that this was previously).

Walked in and waited for the bartender for 10 mins and he never even came down to my side of the bar. He wasn’t busy and he saw us because he was headed our way and stopped mid-​stride and turned around. I miss when this bar was «Neat» I’ll never go back!

Since my local bar big fish close down… I went to the Capri lounge up the street from Side bar to watch the Dodger game… to my surprise they weren’t playing it. So I Went to the side bar for the first time… I was like wow. Everything here seem to me it was freshly renovated… and they were playing the Dodger game. Friendly bar owner Dan and friendly local patrons. This is my new spot. Keep up the good work!!!

Checked this place out for happy hour (4 – 7), and ended up staying all night! Great atmosphere, amazing drinks (try the Froot Loop Martini), and welcoming staff.
Will definitely be returning! :)

So excited to make this my neighborhood bar! Ok I’ve only been there once, but I know a second time is around the corner because I live around the corner. Dan is the man– great hospitality. I felt right at home. He made a delish skinny margarita and a fun and yummy fruit loop martini. If they had a couple nice wines to choose from, I’d go five stars.

New ownership, really nice guy. DJ. and Flatscreens for SPORTS. This is the most important thing for me. a Sports bar that’s right down the street. We cut the cord and just netflix and the only thing I miss is live sports. Sidebar has it now. Nice.

This is defiantly the NEW HOT SPOT in Glendale. great bartenders day and night! Molly rocks the day shift and is awesome!!! There is crazy karaōke on Tues, Thur, and Sat nights. You have Singing bartenders Dan and Evan, New dart boards for fun and great DJ’s. It’s a great vibe at the Sidebar.

Well if your looking for the perfect spot to have some drinks before your Vegas trip
You hit the spot! I call them catholic 1800 silver shots with Tabasco ! Yes nice shots nice pours ! The dude that runs the spot is by far the best people person that I ever met, is it because he’s a die hard BEARS fan! It can’t get any better for me, I’m going to include the SIDEBAR in every escape to my trips ! Dan is the man if you wanna have a great time in Glendale I will be going back every trip I take!

Great cozy atmosphere with a retro feel. I love this place and its location — it’s in the old part of Glendale, so you feel like you’re walking into either the 50’s or 60’s. I couldn’t disagree more with Andrius A. when he states that «This place wants to be ‘Hollywood.’ «It’s not fancy, but could be if you want it to be. I always wear jeans, a t-​shirt and clogs, and I didn’t change my ‘uniform’ to go to SIdebar. I’m not comfortable in a pretentious setting — I choose to go to places with a low-​key vibe (Sidebar definitely fits the bill).
The new owner is a fun, friendly guy who knows how to make an incredible Purple Hooter! This is sure to be one my new favorite haunts.

It’s baaaack! I had no idea this bar even existed, but I attended the grand opening on Friday night and was more than pleasantly surprised. I’m pretty sure this place used to be called Sidebar before it became Neat, but now it’s Sidebar again and well worth a visit.
I’m so excited to have a new local hangout within walking (biking) distance. Good atmosphere, great bartenders, the DJ was excellent and I can’t say enough about the new owners. They’ve done a really great job on the place and I wish them the very best of luck in their new venture!
Now go have a drink or three… you won’t regret it!!!
