Dr. Kaur works MAGIC!
I got a slimming body wrap here.
I was at first a little apprehensive about paying for $ 190 for a body wrap from a place that has no reviews on Unilocal and not knowing anyone who had actually been here. (although, there are a bunch of reviews on citysearch)
But all my fears were put to rest after the wraps came off.
I wanted to slim up and smooth out a few things here and there on my body before my Vegas weekend, so I called on a Monday and left a message. They are closed on Mondays, so Dr. Kaur herself returned my message on Tuesday and was so sweet. I had a hectic schedule, so she offered to stay late to accommodate my schedule! I was thrilled! I came in on a Wednesday night at like 5 or 6 and left at like 8. Dr. Kaur was so nice!
She greeted me when I walked in, gave me some papers to fill out, finished up with another client, and then came and talked to me about any questions I had. The papers I filled out were a little extensive… Like if i’m on a diet, if I’m seeing a doctor, if I have any health problems, but then i realized it was a general questionnaire for all their clients because they are also a nutrition and wellness center. I talked to her for a bit and then she walked me back to a nice clean restroom to strip down to my skivvies and put on a robe. before she wrapped me up, she let me try out the infra red sauna (that is like this little closet with these warm lights and is suppose to be more beneficial than other saunas) it completely relaxed me and warmed up my achy muscles, very relaxing. She took my measurements before and after, but I asked her to take some pics of me before the wrap and some after (pics will be added soon). She wrapped me up in bandages soaked in her own special herbal mixture that are heated up. Apparently, Dr. Kaur has 12 – 14 different herbs in the mixture, as well as, antioxidants, has it electrically charged or something, and it is made a day in advance for each body wrap. Crazy right?! It doesn’t smell bad or strong, just herbal.
She wrapped me up tight, put bags over my hands and feet to catch the excess solution she squirts over the wraps, and then put like a plastic poncho on me to keep me warm. After I was all wrapped up, she had me use this little elliptical exercise machine (it was the gazelle from those infomercials). I did that for like 20mins, she squirted more solution on me, and then I tried out the other machine (that vibrates you as you stand on it). Then she took the wraps off and OMG! All the cellulite, love handles, jiggle, and overall bulge DISAPPEARED! She wrote down how many inches I was before and after, but I forgot to ask how many inches I lost because I could instantly see the results in the mirror. (I know I lost a full inch off my waist) My bumpy looking thighs and belly are now SMOOTH, even 5 days later! My boyfriend couldn’t believe it. It’s Freaking amazing! I felt so much more confident about my thighs and waist in my short cocktail dresses after my visit here.
Bottom line: I am so thrilled with my results and definitely will be going back when I’ve got the cash!
Dr. Kaur was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I am curious about all the services they offer and maybe I’ll try out the detox cleanse.
