Anthony has been doing my hair for the last 5 years. I’ve had 3 hairstylists in my life, Anthony being the 3^rd. I’m very very specific about who cuts my hair because I have very thick, coarse, Korean hair. I’ve received a couple of extremely bad haircuts (like crying on the way home or after my first shampoo kind of bad cuts) in my life when I’ve went to hairstylists who do not know how to cut this type of hair. They can’t handle it. But Anthony knows exactly what to do and I always leave not only looking great but I have an amazing cut that will continue to look awesome and grow out into the style until I see him next. On top of his stellar cutting skills, he has amazing taste and your cut will never look dated. Source is also a beautiful studio and always a laid back, comfortable place to visit. Like so many others, I’ve spent years searching for someone who can consistently make me feel like a million bucks– and then I was lucky enough to find Anthony. He is skilled, professional and best of all… He listens. Seriously look no further.
Hair is a such a personal and important part of feeling yourself and Anthony is always able to hit the bullseye no matter my fancy. I couldn’t trust anyone else with my locks at this point. I 110% recommend this genius! If I could give him 10 stars I would. One of the best stylists in LA period.

if I can wake up on the greasy hair day and run a comb through my hair and it looks pretty good, that’s on Anthony
When I can change my hair style up a bit and not look like I’m trying to compete with my 20 something daughter (who also is cut by Anthony, beautifully), that’s on Anthony
When I can pay for a regular scheduled haircut (4 – 5 weeks) without consulting my investment counselor, that’s on Anthony

Anthony has been taking care of my hair for years, and I say «taking care of it» and not simply «cutting it» because he really does that. Over the years he has taught me how to care for my hair to help it be at its healthiest, which products to use for my kind of hair and how to use them properly, and how to style my hair the way I want to without causing damage. Truly an educator at heart, I am very grateful to have found him!

I have long, curly, bushy, thick hair, and Anthony does a beautiful job of layering and styling it. That really speaks for itself in terms of his expertise!
The first time I went to him, he did not suddenly increase the price of his services (which many stylists have done after seeing my hair even when I had called ahead of time to warn them). So I appreciate his honesty and authenticity as a hair stylist.

Anthony has been cutting my hair for years. (He used to be my hair stylist at J Beverly Hills Salon in Pasadena and I followed him when he left.) Over the years, he has guided me through many hair styles, from shags, to bobs (asymmetrical and more conventional), to pixies. He is fantastic at figuring out what’s suitable for my hair (asian hair = pokey if not cut properly), what I think I want, and what will actually look good. Sometimes, I have no idea so I just tell him to do whatever he wants and I always end up loving what he does. I trust him, his talent, and his artistic eye enough to give him carte blanche when it comes to my hair. His haircuts also grow out really well. (People often ask me if I just got my hair cut weeks into a cut.) In addition, I really like the easy-​to-​use, convenient online booking system at his new shop.

Anthony is an amazing hair stylist. I would highly recommend this studio! I’ve never been disappointed with his haircut and one thing that sets him apart from the rest is that he always scissor cuts the sides of my hair even when I cut it really short.
