Found this place my mistake and I’m glad we did!!! I’m literally on my way there again only 3 days later. The tacos are amazing and fresh! I got the al pastor, pescado, and carnitas with the works(the hot sauce has a little bite, but delicious. And I’m normally a baby with that). We also tried the carne asada torta: tasty, but too much bread for me. I really liked the horchata as well. Christmas in a cup and a great cooling agent to the hot sauce. The only negative reviews I’m seeing on Unilocal are about the place itself. C’mon guys! It’s a taco stand! Of course there will be limited parking and outdoor seating. I personally loved it. Very authentic.

MMMMM!!! They have delicious tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and tortas! You can eat there, limited tables, or take to go. They have a lot of phone orders too. We usually try to order in person, but if we’re in a rush we order by phone so we can just pick it up and go. The red salsa has a kick! It is delicious on the asada tacos and in the asada quesadilla! Chicken tacos are amazing too. Love this place!

Have to give this place 5 stars because I’ve been coming here since my high school days(it’s right across the street!) Their meats all have great flavor and they have great tasting horchata. I’ll be coming to this place until I can’t anymore!

Al Pastor Tacos here are very hard to beat! I don’t order al pastor much, but when I do it’s here! I recently tried their wet burrito and it’s pretty fulfilling! It was too big for me to finish, but if you’re really hungry, I advise you give it a shot! You can order in advance too and just drop by and pick up your order! I heard their carne asada tortas are also amazing! I definitely need to come back and try that next time.

Okay food & horrible customer service. First of all I was waiting for like 5 minutes at the window before anyone even took my order. I told the cashier I had two separate orders and I was paying for them separately and I was in the middle of the first order and then she cut me off and rang me up and I told her I wasn’t finished and she rolled her eyes. She was practically screaming at me and was rushing me even though it wasn’t busy. Won’t be going back.

Just found this place a few weeks ago. It’s the most authentic Mexican taco joint(aside from King Taco) in Glendale. The prices are fair and their staff is friendly. You can call ahead and grab your food to go. Parking is difficult to find so be ready for that. If you’re not into true Mexican food, which is by default, very greasy, drive on. This is the kind of place that you would find in Mexico City.

Ugh! Taco craving NOT satisfied! I can’t believe I just threw $ 12 down the drain. 3 Tacos(chicken, asada, and pastor) 1 Torta(carnitas) Everything was beyond greasy! So disappointed. I should’ve just made the effort and gone to King Taco instead but my laziness got the best of me.

Their tacos are tiny compared to tacos you get in Texas, but let me tell ya, their Carne Guisada taco is definitely upto the mark, if not better than in Texas. Their prices are good($ 1.75 a taco) and their fish taco($ 2.75) is bigger and ain’t bad either. Texan seal-of-approval!

This is a little Taco shack. It’s located directly across from a Jr high on a pretty busy street. Parking is minimally existent on the street and in the neighborhood. We lucked out and found a parking spot around the block. Very small kitchen, so the line builds quickly. There is No indoor seating. There is good tasty tacos though, wish is the main reason for visiting a busy Taco shack such as this one. I do wish the seating was better and maybe a bathroom available for paying customers. Little things like this are keeping me from giving this place a better rating. Dirty tables, no forks or spoons available, I wasn’t happy about having to wait in line again after receiving my food to ask the cashier for a fork.

My daughter loves this place. She goes here with her dad because he lives nearby. The food is good, but not a place I would drive out of my way for. I went because she insisted that I try one of her favorite spots with her dad. How could I continue to say no? She got her regular order of Carne Asada with beans and cheese, so she was a happy camper. She wanted to sit near the window in the front so she could watch the guys prep the food. She said it’s the best seat at the joint. I would have to agree. I tried the asada tacos and I want to say carnitas and they were both good, but at $ 1.75 each not really as good as the places I like that are in Highland Park and Pasadena. So back to the seating, it’s all outdoors, which I’m not a big fan of, no bathrooms which ain’t good if you don’t live nearby and the parking is on the street. We got lucky, but I can see when people may not be as lucky. I do like that they recycle the bottles that are served. For me that’s a plus. I would say great little neighborhood spot for my kid to enjoy with her dad, but not anything for me to drive to.

They are apparently famous for their Tortas but I got their tacos and Burritos instead. While waiting for my food and eating it, there were numerous orders of Tortas, so… I will definitely try that the next time I come… But in order for me to write my reviews and compare the quality and taste of the local Mexican stores, I have to get my favorite tacos and burritos. Every taco places I visit I get their pastor tacos and cabeza tacos. I want to taste their meat and check out their quality! Then I want to try their salsa that complements it. We ordered — cabeza burrito with cheese(cheek meat) — al pastor and tripas tacos(marinated pork and intestines) — homemade horchata! It was GOOD! The food would be 4 stars The homemade horchata another one star! I would give them my two thumbs up! They have outdoor seatings: which is something I don’t like about many of the Mexican places. They have their self serve salsa and radishes outside next to the stand.

It’s really hard to find some good Mexican food these days and since I started coming here months ago, I can honestly say its worth the 20 min trip to this little spot. My favorite is the torta, amazingly delicious. To those that want above and beyond, get the wet burrito. It’s definitely meant for 2 but its a man vs food kind of option. Enjoy

Delicious! I’ve had the tacos and burrito here. The carne asada is cooked to perfect with great flavor. Lengua was so tender it melted in my mouth. Green salsa has good flavor but not enough spice for me, go with red spicy lovers! You can call ahead of time to beat the line at rush times. Self serve roasted jalapeños, limes and radish is a huge plus!!! Lost a star because they charge .40 if under $ 10 transactions, I know there’s fees but they don’t use plates for your food so that’s saving them money right there.

Mmmmmmm chicken tacos were amazing! Those were my favorite. Hole in the wall taco/burrito place that’s cheap and delicious! Open late. Skip the fast food Mexican and just grab your food here.

This place has pork cheek(cabeza) ! So far, tried so many taco place in Los Angeles, this pork cheek taco is very standing out to me !that’s why my friend and I drive about 30 mins today. It’s a memorizing pork cheek taco that I’ve always been craving. It’s extremely tender and sweet with all the geletin in the pork. Very delicious. Also bbq pork is also a must try ! Price, taste, quality and service are on point ! Especially the taste and service. U can also order first to pick up if can’t wait in line. One star off for the environment tho! The dining environment is a little bit difficult to just sit and dine in !

Their tacos are out of this world… I always get two asada and two pastor tacos with everything and extra green sauce. Load my plate up with radishes and limes and I’m the happiest girl in the world. Always come here for lunch and have never been disappointed!

I ordered what I thought and expected to be a mixed chicken and steak burrito wet style… To go! Low and behold, I got a combo plate with corn tortillas and charged an extra $ 1.50 for extra meat. If if clarify with the cashier what I wanted and she simply said okay. Maybe I should have worries when she did not even look at me to take my order and didn’t look at the menu when I was pointing to it for clarification. The think about good food, is that when customer service is lacking the best food in the world will not make the experience memorable in a positive way. I will try one more time before I give up. For now 1 star better than Taco Bell in Eagle Rock.

I used to go to King Taco regularly for tacos until I remembered the existence of this place! Their tacos are the bomb! One thing to note is that the tortillas are oily so this makes their tacos unhealthier. I always order three carne asada tacos when I come here. Be sure to avoid the red sauce or order it on the side because I promise you that it’s VERYSPICY. I usually order a large horchata to counter the spiciness but it’s not enough! One down thing about this place is the dining area. It’s outdoors. :(The staff aren’t too friendly and they got my order wrong(and gave me a hard time) one time. I ordered three carne asada tacos but instead, they gave me three veggie tacos. The guy who also took my order that day was moody too. Another downside of this place is that the staff DON’T wear gloves. They use their bare hands! I’m just hoping that I won’t get sick. The tacos are just too good to avoid this place though…

Woah. Went on a Sunday afternoon and I would not recommend this spot based on my recent experience. I had the asada torta. There was no beans or mayo. The asada was full of fat and gristle. Really bad bites of really fatty fat. My partner had the burrito and felt the same way, he also had the asada. Could have been one of those days, a very bad day, but based on this experience I won’t be back and would not recommend! Life is to short to eat a bad torta.

Taco Aztec never seems to fail me! It’s a whole in a wall, but one of my top favorite taco spots. The meat on the tacos or not greasy and full of flavor. Their sauces are freshly made and absolutely amazing. Love the fact they are not stingy with their sauces or condiments. Not like king taco that doesn’t even offer lemons! Their fresh waters are a plus.
