Horrible customer service and Dirty store. I saw the cook spit on one of customer’s food!

This place was just disgusting!!! I walked into a horrible smell lingering in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken and beef bowl. The tiny pieces of chicken and beef were overcooked. The rice was completely watered down. I will never go to this place again. Actually, I will probably never try a Flame Broiler. I should have just walked a little further and went to Yoshinoya Beef Bowl!!!

Great spot for a quick and hearty meal. Certainly a fresher, healthier option than Panda. I get my Asian fix without feeling burdened for the rest of the day by a lead stomach containing 2 pounds of fried orange chicken. One of my go-to lunch spots.

I love the food here. I always get the combo chicken and beef over brown rice. Love the green hot sauce.

I love flame broiler but for this specific location something tastes different about the meat. parking is sometimes never to be found in the front. But they are very quick with their orders. I picked up food today and it was ready in less than 3 mins.

Love flame broiler. This location, though… Not good! I always get a chicken bowl with brown rice. The chicken tasted old. It was hard to eat. I would skip this location unless they improve on freshness.

I’ve been to other Flame Broiler locations, and they’ve all been really good(like the one by Glendale College); unfortunately, this location on Brand is different. The chicken here is dry and bland(even the«Magic Sauce» doesn’t help). Sooo disappointing. I work in the area, and I would normally come here at least weekly, but after a couple of attempts– I’m giving up. Please let me know if you fix this and I’ll come running back!

As much as I love The Flame broiler I have to give them one star Because they are closed on Weekends.

Went there tonight to just grab a quick meal at exactly 8:30PM to find the doors CLOSED when their business hours are clearly stated on the front of their door. I knocked on the door and the man working just blankly stared at me and went back to counting the register money. The only reason I even go to the brand location is because it’s convenient but after tonight, I’m going to make sure I NEVERGOBACK. I can’t wait to report this to corporate.

Food is usually good but the service… there is none. just usually the same two dudes who don’t smile and barely talk. It’s always very unpleasant. They ruin the experience there but the food is usually as good as other flames

Dropping stars left and right for this place. Dude at the counter has no personality. Even though they have a punch card, never once have I been asked even if I wanted one. Guy at the counter will always talk to a pretty girl, but won’t ask anyone else if they are doing okay or if they need something else. Orders are not complicated, but yet they still screw it up. If it were not for being cheap and easy, I wouldn’t be here. On the upside, they do have Coke Zero.

I really dislike this flame broiler. The chicken tastes different from the flame broiler I usually go to. The service is okay but the taste of the food is terrible. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Food was good but they had this song that was playing for about 10 mins type of tribal? But like weird techno It was very annoying. Came from work to get away and eat peacefully. The food was good

This place is down the street from my work so it is an easy go-to when I’m craving a chicken bowl. I typically get an all white meat chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies. 600 calories and I usually only finish about half. My meal is usually around $ 10 which is kind of high for lunch. Parking is tough in that area but there are a few parking structured in the area that offer 90 minutes free! Ps the teriyaki sauce they use is bomb!

I work right across the street and when I don’t have a pre-packed lunch from home, this is my go-to for an affordable healthy lunch. I usually go for the regular Chicken bowl but the last time I went, I tried a mini bowl with an extra side of white meat chicken for extra protein. This is a LOT of food for about $ 9. Also, if you are cutting carbs, you can get all veggies or half veg half rice. The past two times I’ve been there, my food took a while(almost 10 minutes) to be prepared. Perhaps they don’t keep the white meat chicken cooked and ready cuz both times I added a side of it to my order.

More than decent teriyaki bowls here at Flame Broiler. Healthier than other teriyaki joints with regards to how the food is prepared. I’ve had the chicken bowl which has skinless chicken breast pieces cut into bite sized portions over rice. I’ve also had the much larger combination teriyaki order of beef and chicken over rice with a less than desirable side salad. The side salad needs some dressing. Either they forgot to add some on my order or that’s just the way it is. By the time I realized it, I was at home ready to dig in and it was too late. The food was still good. The beef and chicken are broiled instead of fried so that makes it a bit healthier. Not bad for a quick lunch to-go.

I was actually excited that they opened a flame broiler on Brand Blvd. cause it’s so much closer to my house than the one on Verdugo Rd. but after giving this place a try I’m never going back. I’m a fan of Flame Broiler but this location just sucked! The chicken was overcooked(to the point that it was kinda burned) and the brown rice was undercooked. I thought maybe it was just this one day that they made the food bad but according to other reviews it seems like other people have had the same issue as me. wanna have flame broiler? just go to the one on Verdugo Rd. :)
