Nice sandwich salad and soup place. Good food but also really quick service. I didn’t try any of their drinks. We had the long life salad and curry chicken sandwich. They were really tasty. Curry chicken reminded me of trader joes curried chicken salad. . I thought it was just a tad pricey but that’s what I’d expect for this part of town. Also a plus, across the street from portos so you can go there for dessert!

Ok aside from their food which I can eat, I can’t get over their horrible customer service! So, I just called to speak with a manager, Maricela. I believed she gave me that name, the sole purpose of my call was just curtesy. Let them be aware of people breaking into cars in the back parking lot. My car was broken in yesterday, luckily nothing major(of real value) was stolen, but nonetheless it sure angers me!!. So back to this uncaring Maricela, right up front she gave me attitude, cutting me off and kept saying, ‘the parking lot belongs to the city’, lady, I know that!!! I’m just being nice to let u guys know about it. Maricela didn’t care and wanted to keep arguing about the parking lot not belonging to her!!! I wouldn’t play her game and just hanged up the phone, so much for trying to help others!!! Pls be careful where u park your car!

Healthy options and great service! Accommodated my wishes with yummy results. Croissant egg breakfast sandwich had basil and avocado w/side of fruit, potatoes were an option. Would definitely return.

Just moved to the area and my husband and I have been trying new spots out for the past week. I must say this one looked promising from the Unilocal reviews so we decided to give it a shot so we ended up grabbing a small light dinner here. It definitely wasn’t what we expected. The menu was small which is fine but the options seemed kinda bland compared to what we’ve seen and read on Unilocal.I ordered the chicken panini with a side of the pasta salad which the waitress recommended. It was completely not satisfying. The pesto in the sandwich was good but the chicken was so burnt –it killed the sandwich for me. As for the amazing pasta… I’m not even sure what was so amazing about it. It had no flavor whatsoever. Not even a hint of salt or anything. Definitely a disappointment. The waitress was very sweet but didn’t check back often. We were both out of drinks and waiting for a refill but she never came back and when she finally did it was because we were sitting there – done eating and she just wanted to give us the check. I’m not going to completely say I’ll never come back Bc I assume the breaKfast is a lot better but we will definitely avoid the lunch and dinner menus from here on out.

They should work on food quality and service. Staff could be more friendly. Nice variety of food choices but quality was underwhelming.

Unfortunately they recently changed their menu(and also started waitress service). Previously you would order at the counter and then go seat yourself. They have dropped the omelettes and some other things from their menu, which were the whole reason we used to go. so although this USED to be a good place to get brunch, omelettes cheaper than IHOP, now it’s not the same. some of the new items do look OK. but I had the chipotle chicken bowl today which was just so-so. my wife did get them to make an omelette just like they used to have on the old menu, but she said it was not nearly as good as it used to be. also they forgot several things on several of our orders(forgot the bacon on the«fork special»; forgot the eggs on the pancake special; etc.). supposedly they had a new chef just starting today? with all the competition, I’m sorry to say that we’ll be going elsewhere next time.

I used to love this place, but I’m really over the breakfast menu changes they do every other month it seems like. Now this latest menu stinks, they have less options which all just got pricier. The cheapest option is 8.99, a English muffin sandwich which no longer has a sausage patty, but now they added potatoes and fruit to the plate. I still got it to try it and the bread was so toasted it was too hard to bite and made the egg and avocado fall out. The avocado was not ripe yet, so that was hard too. I miss he old menu. I used to love breakfast here, not so much anymore.

Wow, pleasantly surprised. Wanted to find a quick place to grab lunch in Glendale and this spot was bright, welcoming, and managers/servers were kind, helpful and had great energy. Very nice people who clearly take pride in what they do, providing a great lunch atmosphere. I ordered the salmon special with ‘dirty’ rice and mango salsa — clean and delicious. Only issue to note was that they charged me for a coffee I had purchased elsewhere and when I mentioned it to have it taken off the bill before running my card, they ended up doing the math incorrectly and charged me for about a dollar plus change more than I owed them for the meal. So it was like paying over 20% tax on a $ 10 meal before tip. I’d still probably go back though, but will be sure not to hand my card over before thoroughly resolving any bill issues.

Went in for a weekday breakfast. The staff were SO nice, attentive and professional. Service was great and everything came out quickly. Unfortunately, the food was just meh and not hot enough. The coffee was really bad. Neither of us finished ours. I won’t go back, but they were so nice that my friend said she would be willing to try it again for lunch or dinner. Hopefully breakfast just isn’t their specialty.

Currently waiting for a friend here, located quaintly on Brand across from the famous Porto’s. Cutest spot on the block with the friendliest staff. Half full, but you can see the staff hustlin’, preppin’ for the Friday lunch rush. Paba, the counter girl, is super friendly. The menu looks awesome. Cannot wait to actually eat here. I got a hot green tea latte with almond milk– DELISH! a bit sweet. I wonder what they put it in. Very tasty. They’ve got a 20% Unilocal check in offer & a $ 15 for $ 10 deal. Free Wi-Fi! PARKING. I found a street spot in the neighborhood a block away. There is also metered spots. Area gets full though because of business and restaurant patrons. Good luck!

Cute, Quaint, Service-forward. Went for Lunch, had the ½ Rotisserie Chicken with the Chimicurri. So cool, huge portion, literally half a bird. Great garlic aioli and fries on the side. So much for a light lunch; not sure why I went ½ bird. Have to admit it was good. Service was exceptional, checked on us multiple times during the meal. Cute little cookies to finish, gratis. And they even offered soda to go. Signage was confusing, didn’t know where to start, but once we figured it out, ITWASALLGOOD.

I’d never been here before and decided to stop in for lunch today. The staff is all very friendly, and the place has an overall welcoming atmosphere. I wasn’t sure what to get, so I asked the cashier for her recommendation. I went with one of her suggestions, and I wasn’t disappointed. I look forward to trying other items on their menu, and definitely recommend this place for lunch!

Points for Wooden Fork being one of the only Glendale spots with clearly marked vegan options. It’s a casual counter service café and catering company. The space itself is really raw and could use a renovation but meanwhile they’ve decorated it to be quite charming and it has good natural light. I really enjoyed the hand painted parts of the wall like the orange tree. Some of the other stuck on décor was very dated shabby chic. One weird thing was that the menus were photocopied very poorly so that the copies were half off the page and slanted and I couldn’t read the beginnings of some of the descriptions. I don’t understand why they even put those menus out. My husband had the pita pocket sandwich and really enjoyed it — I’ll probably try that if I’m there again. I had a plate with four deli items — roasted potatoes, kale and sesame salad, cucumber tomato salad, and fruit salad. I didn’t enjoy the flavors(except for the fruit salad which is just fruit). The kale salad had a very bitter dressing that I kept expecting to round out with a sweetness at the end that never came — I could barely eat it. My husband agreed that the dressing needed something else. The cucumber salad seemed like it was just in vinegar rather than a vinaigrette — again, just plain acidity, not satisfying. The potatoes were that kind of breakfast potato I know some people do like but it’s not for me, they were kind of mushy and cooked with white onions. It’s too bad that I happen to not like most of the vegan options I tried. I’m not itching to go back but if I’m in the area I may try something else here. Service was friendly. My husband ordered coffee and there was no milk or sugar out for the public and none was ever offered.

I ordered a Classic Breakfast: 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. It was pretty good! The bacon were done really well, and the eggs(ordered sunny side up) were PERFECTO! The toast was really good. I think it was the orange jam they used that made it special for me. I didn’t care much for the potatoes… which was sad for me because I usually love potatoes. These potatoes were average at best even though they were seasoned. Anyway, this order was about $ 6 and well worth it. it felt clean, and not greasy at all. I love that while you’re waiting, you can help yourself to some free fruits right near the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant itself was also pretty cute. It has a slight rustic feeling, but also a little modern look as well. There are many many places in Glendale to eat at that’s good, and around that area. The Wooden Fork is great as well! I’d be happy to come back!

The ambiance is great, chill well decorated. No line when I went. I ordered the Portifino salad, which was ok. I enjoyed the tomato bisque as it tasted like tomatoes with a special kick of its own. The Waldorf salad and pasta salad were addicting. I did take out and I was able to use the Unilocal discount. Pretty fast service.

I came here for lunch and ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini. The ciabatta bread was excellent because it was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The chipotle sauce was great as well with a perfect balance of spicy and tangy. The chicken was kind of dry and the portion was small. I also ordered a side of falafels, which came with three pieces. I assumed that they would heat up the falafel when served, but it was cold and soggy. It did come with some hummus on top though. All of that came out to about $ 11 for a sandwich with a side. I’m giving this place 3 stars because although it was a decent sandwich, it was also a bit pricy and it didn’t quite fill me up.

Came here with my sister to get breakfast on the day that her flight got messed up and she had to spend the night in LA. They were very nice, and polite. The omelet that I got was delicious. The different iced teas were pretty good as well. Careful, this place gets very busy during lunch!
