Tilly’s Glendale Galleria has a very attentive staff — all I needed was to pick up a pair of shoes but they acted like it was a huge order. Very kind, friendly service. The manager, Jonathan was quite helpful! Will come back here in the future.

Tilly’s is terrible. They have cute clothes, but terrible customer service. The zipper on my backpack broke several weeks after I started using it, and now it is useless. They responded to my exchange request by saying that they do not offer any returns or exchanges unless the product is unused. They don’t care at all about defective products. You can buy the same brands/clothes from other stores/websites and have better customer service. Why would you want to give your money to a company that doesn’t care about it’s customers? Business is about buying and selling. We are not doing them a favor. They are doing one for us.

don’t ever order from this company. they have the worst return policy and customer service in the world. they won’t issue you a credit you end up getting stuck paying for nothing! will never order from them again!!!

I called looking for a specific rainbow sandal and Danyel answered and helped me soo much! He knew exactly what I wanted and put me on hold for a few seconds to check if they had them came back and even let me put them on hold! Thanks again for the great customer service!

I had an interesting experience that I felt I needed to remark on. This past weekend my boyfriend were shopping around, albeit last minute, for surf board wax. We were already in Glendale after failing to find any at Big 5 and we were torn between going to the Sport Chalet in Burbank or running to Tilly’s in the galleria. Since we were already in Glendale we started to head to the galleria to park when I decided to call and ask Tilly’s if they carried wax. I wasn’t convinced they did because they’ve always seemed more of a «look like a surfer without actually having to surf» kind of place. Regardless, I called and was placed on hold. They either don’t actually have a hold line, or they hit the wrong button and placed the phone down because I could hear everything that was going on. We got to the mall and parked and they apparently forgot I was on the phone because no one came back. I decided to wait them out and see if they’d realize I was on the phone by the time I’d gotten to the store. They didn’t. And they don’t carry wax. It was unfortunately because of the time constraint, Sports Chalet closed soon and if Tilly’s had have answered we’d have been able to head straight to burbank. But in Tilly’s favor, because of this incident we discovered an awesome surf shop in Montrose called Billy’s Boardshop. They’ve got clothing, equipment, accessories, all the things!

I don’t shop at Tilly’s, but they do sell some of their clothes on Amazon. I was out of the country over the holiday season so I did all of my Christmas shopping online and bought a puffer jacket on Amazon from Tilly’s. Unfortunately, the jacket was much thinner and less puffy than described and pictured on Amazon. I contacted customer service and they advised me that the fastest way to return the item was to return it directly to a Tilly’s store(with photo ID and the Amazon receipt). Since it had Tilly’s tags on it, they said it wouldn’t be a problem. I was doubtful, but I headed to Tilly’s anyway and their customer service was just exceptional. I was greeted several times while circling the store and when I went up to the counter to process the return, Riley was simply amazing. Even though none of the cashiers or managers had ever heard or done an Amazon-Tilly’s return, they never turned me away and told me to just return it to Amazon. Riley called corporate several times to figure out how to process the return, and even called an alternate phone number that I provided(from Amazon-Tilly’s customer service). He was SODETERMINED to have me leave with my money back and NOT with store credit! He was indignant and annoyed FOR me that the return was so difficult! He apologized profusely when he really didn’t need to. And in the end, he didn’t even need corporate’s help — he figured out how to process it on his own and I left the store with a complete refund! Why can’t all customer service be this enthusiastic? How refreshing to have someone who actually shows some personality and care in his work! Although Tilly’s isn’t really my kind of store, I will definitely be making this place my first stop for gifts and random browsing.

You know the customer service is fine, i dont have a problem with it at all. I HATE the way they organize their shirts. by colors and sizes. really? that is wayy to confusing. how hard is it to just go by the brand. thats y i really dont shop here to buy some of my clothes. its too confusing.

Bottom line is they provided excellent customer service and quality everyday apparel for the active guys and gals. From the moment I entered their shop, I was greeted with a smile, they asked me if they could help me find something which at that time I really appreciated because I cannot find the tank with the print that I really want. Anyway, A pleasant experience combined with a good bag of super comfy tanks– makes me a happy shopper :)
