Waxing the City

I had a bikini wax done a few years ago and I thought it was the worst thing ever! I decided that I should give it a go once more before I say fuck it and just continue to shave. I found this place through Unilocal actually and saw that they had a great deal for newcomers so it was perfect! My waxed Alexus is fucking awesome! I can’t lie, the first time was exactly how you would imagine getting all the hairs ripped out of your vag. Alexus said «just come in for one more and I swear it’s not as bad the second time» I thought she was lying but it’s really not that bad at all!

I have been to Waxing the City twice for eyebrow waxing. Both times have been a wonderful experience. The facility is extremely clean and relaxing. The technicians are attentive to your needs and considerate while working. I will most definitely recommend Waxing The City to my friends and co-​workers. I also look forward to returning to Waxing The City for future services!

Wow! Really it’s all I can say about Waxing The City from the moment I stepped in everyone was Sooo nice not snooty like some of there competitors. Mikayla made me feel like I was talking to a life long friend, so sweet and so funny I will totally be back

This was my first time at Waxing the City. The moment I walked into this place I fell in love! The décor was very modern and chic just like the cities you see in movies, not to mention my favorite color is orange! The receptionist was extremely friendly, I loved her style as well. The warm welcome was definitely a better feeling than what you normally get when walking into another famous waxing chain while the girls snicker and act like they’re on a higher level than you. My Cerologist was Yadira and she is amazing! She made me feel very comfortable and we actually had a conversation unlike other places I’ve been too. She made sure not to miss any spots either. I was also given a mirror to double check and she was very adamant about me letting her if she did so she can fix it before I left. I will definitely be back! :)

Every one was very professional and the wax was quick. Having the top included is nice too. Will definitely be back

Yadira was wonderful. It was my first time and I was extremely nervous. She explained the process to me and made it as easy and comfortable as a Brazilian can be! Ha! Gabriella (she works the front desk) was so informative! Great staff!

I heard of this place from a friend and have been previously going to European wax. I absolutely love it here! Their services are far superior then anywhere else. I especially like Jenna. I highly recommend going here. Plus your first service is half off. Love love love it!

This was the first time I’d ever gotten anything waxed and I was beyond nervous. Luckily everyone there was super nice and professional. They answered all my questions and helped ease my worries. The technician who helped me, Yadira, was incredibly patient and went at a pace that helped me stay comfortable. By the end, I knew I’d be coming back.

Yadira was great ! Had arms done and she took her time. Extremely clean environment very good receptionist. Will be back!

Missed a full patch of hair on my Brazilian wax, wasn’t asked to check before she left the room. When paying $ 55 for a wax you definitely expect it to all be gone, especially when it took 40 minutes! This is far too long, especially for someone that gets waxed regularly. The technician was fine, and I’m sure she meant well, but she kept commenting on my hair in that area and my dry skin etc, not really what I came to hear, just wax it off! She didn’t seem very experienced in waxing, but it could just be very different than I’m used to. A new establishment, but probably wouldn’t be back unless I’m in a pinch.

I found about this company of an app called ValPack. They had a 50% off any waxing (and boy did my brows need it). I previously went to chase salon and got them done and the lady there literally smeared some Luke warm wax on my eye brows and ripe. It off and sent me on my way. No tweeting or shaping or anything. So when I came here, I was pleasantly surprised.
When you first walk in its a nice orange smell and it’s very clean and organized. The receptionist is very friendly. I had to call her because I got lost in my way there and she stayed on the phone with me until I figured it out.
The place almost feels like a doctors office. My waxer took me in to a room and asked me what I wanted done and she did exactly that. She even went in and tweed after the waxing. She knew what he was doing and held a conversation the whole time.
I paid like 12 including tax (because of the discount). It’s a non tipping studio so your total is all you pay. I bought a Chapstick on the way out and it’s amazing and tastes great! I will definitely be revisiting when’s brows need a fix up. Very impressed!
