Over a month I personally walked into the store to ask about custom cabinetry-​built-​ins however no one got up to greet me… and there was four people sitting around the table. They asked what I wanted so I described my fireplace and the custom design I wanted… they asked me to leave my phone number and name, and that they would schedule an appointment but so far NO calls!!! Will never recommend or do business with this company.

We had a dream of having a library in our house. We looked at bookshelves in a few furniture stores — outrageous. Looked at IKEA — still expensive, also cheap and flimsy looking. We saw GH Wood Design’s booth at the LA County Fair last year. Finally got around to looking at the show room a few months ago. After we got our tax refund, I measured up the wall and went to see Amin. The quote was, I think, quite reasonable. We browsed around the store; there’s an awful lot of incredible stuff on display. So anyway, bookcases were ordered. Built to spec. Took a week longer than we were told, not a big problem.
They are perfect! Exactly what we ordered and then some. I knew the house wasn’t going to be square, so we left 2″ extra to be covered over afterwards with some trim. The end bookcase actually had a lip extending past the edge to allow trimming to fit! The installers also trimmed the bottom edge on one end to level it all off. And cut the holes so we can access the electrical outlets. There is about a 3″ lip on each end and across the top of the shelves. The inside edges of each case are half that, so when they are screwed together, each section is the same width. Looks awesome.
Really topnotch stuff. Probably twice the price of IKEA, but made out of real wood and oak plywood — no particle board anywhere.
