The parking lot could be structured a lot better. On the other hand, the diverse shops assembled here are a nice selection. It is very close to where I live and within walking distance… so it is very convenient, too!

This place has been here for quite some time now and I’ve been here quite a few times. It’s pretty popular, I’ll say that for sure. I’m really on the fence here. The place is huge and has a ton to do. From food, to books, to office supplies, movies, music, body care, and pets; this place has it all. Across the board, the service is pretty good in each of the store fronts(save for Wendy’s which has the rudest most condescending employees I’ve ever seen). Every time I’ve bee to the movies, it’s been great. Home Depot, Kohl’s, Staples, BevMo, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Borders; all good in my book. San Sai, Chipotle, Corner Bakery; good too. My issue is the parking lot. It’s incredibly poorly laid out. Over by Chipotle, San Sai, etc. you’ve got to fight your way out of a spot. Take the other night for me; I’m sitting in my car waiting to get out, letting the car three spots to the left go out first because it was their turn. Two cars piled up behind me and two in the other direction sat there as well. Everyone was being impatient and honking as if there was anything this poor car could do. Idiots. Pay attention to who’s backing out in the lane before jumping on the horn, you’re not helping anyone. A car pulls in to that spot and now it’s my turn to pull out. the second car waiting(now first) behind me graciously waits for me to pull out. The idiot coming in the other way pulls way too far forward for me to have adequate room to get out. I pull out as slowly and carefully as possible as cars continue to sneak forward around me. Some idiot then tried to back up two spots away from me, realizes that I’m there, and stops immediately. Doesn’t pull back in to let me get out, but just freaking sits there. A minutes goes by without horns or movement and some idiot gets out of this other idiot’s car to motion and point to me as if I’m being an idiot sitting there wasting everyone’s time. It’s then when he sees that he and his idiot brigade are holding the entire process up. His dumbass has his idiot friend move forward, everyone inches away enough for me to get out, and my sushi and I are on the way home. Rant: over. If it was just that one time with the traffic, I’d understand. I’ve almost been hit multiple times pulling out of the Wendy’s driveway heading towards Gladstone(when I used to eat at that horrible place). Going to Staples, BevMo, or Bed, Bath, and Beyond is an issue because getting out is damn near impossible with Gladstone traffic coming in and Marketplace traffic going out. Same thing for the other side of the«street» with Borders, Best Buy, etc. Plain and simple: traffic here is a pain. Everyone drives like a self-entitled idiot not watching out for anyone but themselves. The stores and restaurants are great and the place is rarely as crowded as the many crs would dictate. The traffic and bumbling idiots are a different story. Will I be back? Absolutely. There’s a lot of stores I frequent in here with friendly employees. God help me though, the parking lot is a complete and utter disaster.
