Horrible place. Can never get your order right, management gets mad when you go back to fix it. Then you get attitude. Then when you ask for your money back they ask why an then Dont give you the full amount back ! Hate this place location is covenant close to home but I will drive to San Dimas just to get my food done right.

So, I just got back from McDonald’s…Ordered a #4(Double Quarter Pounder combo) at around 11:30 pm. When I got back to my house, I realized they only gave me a regular quarter pounder burger. Debating whether or not to go back… I finally realized it was the best thing to do, since they charged me for a double. I left in a hurry leaving the fries and drink behind, grabbing only the burger. I let the female employee know about the wrong order, she said pull up to the window. She examines my receipt and burger. She takes the burger…(probably throws it away, which I don’t understand). After about 5 minutes I get the double quarter pounder burger I originally ordered. I get home, fries are cold. This whole trip from start to finish was 30 minutes. 10 minutes during the first initial visit. 20 minutes of wasted time and gas. The female employee offers nothing to remedy the problem. No free fries, no free burger… not even to keep the original burger which was wrong in the first place. What a waste of time. I would recommend random drug testing, but McDonald’s would probably lose 95% of it’s employee base. Not hard people… McDonald’s lifers right here.

Night drive through window service: takes forevvvvvvvvver. Do they just schedule one person per department? Is one person doing all the cooking ??? I know evenings are prob not as busy as daytime but the wait was just ridiculous.

Don’t know what is worse. Drive thru taking 28 mind to serve me my food. Or the fact that I waited that long for a Big Mac. This 24 hour service was not worth the wait. Will not ever wait this long again for cold food. This was on Oct. 4 between the hours of 2:15 — 2:43.

Those who know me know I’m all for healthy food… So, McDonald’s doesn’t exactly fit that description. However, my Grandma loves to send the kids gift cards and bring them here to play. The past 3 times I’ve been here they stream music from a very inappropriate station. I’m sitting here in the kids’ play area listening to Madonna’s «Like a Virgin», while the DJ comments, «Hell to the yeah»…Really!!! I’ve spoken to this in the past with a friend who complained when she was here and clearly nothing was done. They also don’t have any changing stations in their bathrooms.

The Baked Pies(replacing the regular ones) are here at the Glendora McDonald’s and I am sorry, Eek! Methinks not. I had the Apple Baked Pie and would have rather have had my regular Strawberry Cream pie, yummy. Do not know how long this Baked Pie think will run, but I for one am hoping that enough write in and maybe have the regular pies brought back. The crew at this McDonald’s is GREAT, but alas, the Baked Pies…

Management likes to make up their own rules regardless of franchise regulations! Tried to use a free burger coupon and a free fry coupon but management said one per person per visit. Ok so I can come back to redeem the fry correct? Nope when I came back they said no it’s one per day? No where does it say one per day! Then I called corporate and they told me to just go to another location… Wth? If’s it’s yours and it’s free what does it matter? I shouldn’t have to go to another location but I did anyways… And didn’t have any problems redeeming both my coupons! It’s worth a little further drive for better service imo

Time for me to comment. Our last 3 trips to the Arrow Hwy in Glendora location went like this: Sat 12:21PM, one cash register open and they were training a new person. wifes cheese burger was only partialy eaten, got home and she advised the cheese had not been melted. wrong cups given on order. 2.3wks ago got home no toy in happy meal and wrong cups given 3.5wks ago got home no sauce in mcnuggets. also again very busy and cashier was very slow. ever time we go there something goes wrong. About 8wks ago got home, wifes cheeseburger not in bag. We had stopped going to this one and drove alittle longer to the one on 66 in Azusa. So far had no problems with this location. Only reason we stopped at this one today was we drove right buy the place. PS: they also took out one of the play items that our grand children liked so they don’t even want to go back there. This is a waste of my time but just had to vent my unhappiness about this location.

Always fast. Always polite. Always cheap. Always yummy. I’m a difficult customer as I custom order almost everything and I have never been disappointed at this location. Come here for breakfast almost every Wednesday and see the same girl, surprised we don’t know each other by name by now!

Went here last night for a quick munch/craving run. We were there around 9ish and used the drive thru. The place was well lite and clean. Although there was a few cars in the drive thru already, our order was fast and correct. All I ordered was a large set of french fries and a mango pineapple smoothie. We were at the pick up window in less than 5 minutes and the order was ready and correct. I like that it was hassle free, things were done right the first time and that it was fast. after all, it is suppose to be fast food.

This place is next to the northwest corner of Arrow Highway and Glendora Avenue(next to the Taco Bell). It was flattened to bare dirt and rebuilt across 5 – 6 months in 2010. The new dining area is a lot more open and has better seating, and some tables have detached moveable chairs. They used the closure /rebuild /opening opportunity to dump the problem staff and hire a(mostly) new crew. The current top staff believes in customer service and ITSHOWS. Of all the McDonald’s I go to this is the nicest and has the best customer service. The food hasn’t really changed much(it’s a MickeyDs, when you have a MickeyDs menu you can’t do much with it), but the service, overall environment and atmosphere is a lot better. A friend lives across the street and this place is a convenient meeting place for us — it has a damn good cup of coffee for her, and a Coke(with free refills) for me… My friend has good days and bad days… On good days she uses a cane or a walker, and on bad days uses a powered wheelchair — she appreciates that the chairs at some tables can be moved out of the way. And she REALLY appreciates that the staff brings her food to the table! And she REALLY, REALLY appreciates that there are AC outlets to recharge her powered wheelchair. Pluses: 1) CLEAN restaurant. 2) CLEANBATHROOMS — and they are checked a couple of time an hour 3) GOOD customer service. The people know what a smile is. They greet you, thank you for your business, and wish you a good day. 4) Free refills on coffee and soda. 5) Free WiFi — and it’s pretty quick. 6) Several tables have AC outlets to charge up your laptops or cellphones(many MickeyDs — like the one at Lone Hill and Route 66 have removed ALL the AC outlets in the restaurant area, this place is unusual in that regard). 7) They have a damned nice kid and toddler play areas, and they are clean. The new playground seems to always have kids running around inside it. Negatives: 1) The TV is on «the McDonalds channel»(which is a program loop of about an hour long) and too loud. If you are having a hearing issue(which I do) and are trying to have a conversation you want to be as far from the TV as possible.
2) Check your order before you leave the counter. This place is popular and busy during the day, and the cooks occasionally make an error, or someone grabs the wrong burgers. I order my food less the onions and ketchup but sometimes I get mine with both. It isn’t the cashiers fault as the receipt clearly says«no onions» and«no ketchup». It’s never a problem, the order gets remade and one of the management types brings the order to our table. 3) If you hit the drive-through(ESPECIALLY on swing or graveyard shift), check your order before you leave the window. They get measured on how fast they«process» a car, and if you find an error before you drive away and force them to fix it that takes extra time and their score goes way down. Apparently the management types only work day shift and the evening and night crews don’t have a pro-customer-service person breathing down their necks… So they love to short you on the medium and large fries, and short-count the nuggets, and they«forget» to give you the dipping sauce(or if you asked for three they give you two…). I think this is a correctable gripe — all it will take is to put one of the day shift managers on swings or graveyards for six weeks to two months and maybe fire a few McDrones /McClones. 4) They don’t accept debit/credit cards after 11pm. Supposedly«the computer is off» but other places can take cards 24×7 so why can’t they? So I have to go hit an ATM before I hit this MickeyDs. Overall, I give this place 4 and three-quarter stars compared to the Lone Hill & Route 66 MickeyDs which gets two stars and the Irwindale Avenue one that gets four.

Have you ever had an ex-McDonald’s employee tell you that you shouldn’t dare touch McDonald’s meat? Last night I heard it again. Some people think they know the greatest secrets. In reality, I have heard from restaurant owner’s relatives that restaurants — even the finest — in general are gross — period. Have you ever heard there are little extras in cereal boxes and all mass produced and processed food? Like rat parts etc? Yes ladies and gentlemen, there’s a high price to pay for entering modernity so I can frankly tell you it all doesn’t phase me. Really… Or maybe I should tell you that some cultures consider rats a delicacy… Anyway, I really was amazed upon entering this McD’s! It’s pretty upscale inside for a McD’s and it’s soooo close to work it’s not even funny. I ordered two Double Cheeseburgers without onions and ketchup the other day but the ketchup was in them when I got them. I went up to the counter and explained what had happened. It wasn’t the cashiers fault as the receipt clearly said — no onions no ketchup. No worries. One of the upper level management drones came herself, with my tray, to my seat. The problem was fixed! I’m rating this place on convenience and looks — and the fact it provides acceptable and cheap foodmass for my groaning stomach — nothing more nothing less. It does its job. I am amazed that such a McDonald’s exists out here in the periphery — utterly amazed…

The best McDonald’s ever. This McDonald’s was recently torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. They have free WiFi, an amazing kid and separate toddler play area, and it’s super clean. My son points and screams with excitement every time we drive by. The food is what you would expect from McDonald’s so nothing different there. Go check it out and have fun with your kids.
