Have been coming here for years! The pizza is fresh, and Jim always makes mine with sprinkled garlic on top. Delish!

I read the reviews prior to ordering and I must admit the 5 star reviews hooked me in. Now, the owners are really nice people. The pizza, not so nice. The pizza was heavy, lacked flavor and was sparse when it came to pepperoni. For 15.25, I could have gotten a much better pizza from Pizza Hut, or Papa Johns. This pizza, is on the Dominos Pizza level. Tasteless. It’s a shame when a mom and pop operation fails.

The first time I had a pizza was as a kid in the 80s. It was at a mom and pop shop just like this. It was the best tasting pizza I ever had! And since then, I’ve been searching for that same taste. Only took me 30 years to find you! Just in time I might add. I found that taste again here at Rocky’s. So long Pizza Hut, Goodbye Dominos, and Good riddance Papa Johns! I’m home. I found my pizza joint and there will probably be no other place I get a pie. Now, I can’t describe to you the flavor. Everyone’s palate is different. But the ingredients taste fresh and the dough is great. I can only tell you that you gotta try it! Jim, the owner, is very friendly and seems like a very genuine guy. He makes the pies and they’re fantastic! You got another life-long customer!

A Covina treasure. Jim’s your pizza man, he has you covered. Rocky’s Special, a couple beers, Saturday night in the Covinas, can’t go wrong. We have been coming here for years, and will continue to.

First time here, absolutely loved the pizza!!! You can really tell they use high quality ingredients in the pizza! We got a large pepperoni pizza and it was nice a crispy and not greasy like most pizzas. The owner was the nicest man and very informative! Looks like my family has a new favorite pizza joint! We love supporting small businesses!

First time visitor, and I must say I was skeptical only because I’m such an avid pizza lover my expectations are high when it comes to it. Boy was I wrong. Pizza is beyond amazing, and delicious. Nicest people I’ve ever met running the place. Will definitely be coming back here. Wish they had a few more specials but then again it doesn’t matter.

Great find in Glendora. Pizza is excellent. Dough is gourmet according to owner and it tastes like it. Tried the Rocky’s special and the toppings and cheese were high quality. Ambiance is ok. But it really doesn’t matter as long as it is clean and the food is good!

Fun kind-of throwback to the 80’s. Tastes homemade and fresh. Classic Hubbie and I ate there on a Sat night at 6:30−7. While we were there, about 2 – 3 customers came in for pick-up orders. We were the only ones eating in the restaurant the whole time. Half the lights were turned off, contributing to the retro, dated feeling. But the place was clean and the owners(?) behind the counter were awesome. We were entertained by the TV’s playing sports, the herds of 20-something males in the parking lot affiliated with 2 smoke shops in the same strip mall, and reminiscing over the wood-paneled walls, green plastic benches remodeled from a high school weight room, and video games. The Rocky’s special pizza was delivered quickly. The added garlic was delicious, but — although pretty good, overall I thought the pizza either needed more sauce or spice. The crust was wholesome but bland — like the crust my husband makes from scratch at home or the crust at Z Pizza(but Z Pizza uses more flavorful sauces and marinaras). But we ate our fill and hubbie says«I liked it A LOT better than Z Pizza.» We paid about $ 22 for a large. A special place for sure but I’m not sure the pizza can compete. If I go back, it’ll probably be for the mood. Hubbie says: Go and support this cool, mom-and-pop shop.

Old school décor but still great pizza and beer! Went on a Sunday afternoon and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Owner is a nice guy — we should support this type of place

Gave this place a try and it’s O K … Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it but for the price I could probably go somewhere else and get much more flavor and toppings… Would I be coming back probably not but you never know …

Every time I’ve gone to this spot they always make the food perfect. The pizza isn’t too thick and it has the right amount of crunch. I went here recently to try their calzone since I’m a big fan of them. Oh my sooooo good. Let me start by saying that they put ricotta cheese in their calzone which is how you’re supposed to do it. I dont remember the older gentleman’s name that owns the place. But he gave me a quick history of how he makes food and told us the right way to make Italian food. He was so friendly and endearing with his thick Italian accent. I love the feel of the restaurant, very mom and pop. It’s a real shame that it’s not busier. We need to keep places like this one around. So much better than other places that claim to be authentic.

Rockys pizza is a favorite of ours. My children love this place and look forward to going on Fridays to eat pizza and play pool. Their pizza is delicious, good ingredients. We have tried the cheese and pepperoni pizza and the vegetable and sausage and are both pretty good. The ambiance of the place brings me back to the 80s when i was a child and the owners are such nice people. Love this place. Would highly recommend.

I am a true pizza lover and I love Rocky’s! The pizza is always fresh and tasty. It is true that it is a little pricier than your average Pizza hut or Domino’s but the quality is worth it.

Sizzling hot wings delivered to my table, ooey gooey melty pepperoni pizza inside a «totally 80’s» style pizza lounge with pool table and booths. What’s not to love about it!!! Jim is awesome and so is his food!!!

So I decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad I did. The pizza here is absolutely amazing!!! Fresh dough and fresh toppings what more could you ask for. I’ll tell ya… My pizza was hot, crispy, and cheesy just how this girl likes it! I will definitely be back again. This place rocks!!! Oh and they have cold beer to boot.

I feel like I’ve lived under a rock — this place has been here since the 80s?! It’s such a throw back, I thought I walked into a new place with a tribute to the old days. The owner is super sweet — at the time I walked in, he was really a one man show. The quality of the pizza was good, probably not my #1 pick for the Covina/Glendora area, but definitely better than any chain pizza company. I got a fully loaded pizza, minus the onions, wings and salad. All were good and because I ordered no onions on my pizza, he also left them off the salad! That blew my mind that someone could be that thoughtful about my order. Since I’m always on the go, I ordered to go and everything was ready within 20 minutes. A little pricey for what we got, but he definitely uses fresh ingredients, so I’m okay with the price.

Came here with my bf for the first time. PIZZAWASGREAT!!! Ordered a 16inch pizza with all the meats! Pepperoni, ham, Canadian bacon, and sausage. Wish they had more of a selection for beer but it was still okay. We will definitely be back! Cute and cozy.

MMMPIZZA! Rocky’s is a home-y and lived in pizza joint where you can feel the warmth of the families who’ve been regulars for years. You can bet that it’s standard for little leaguers or where grown up ball players gather to enjoy pizza, pasta and beer. It makes me miss the pizza places I used to frequent growing up in OC. Video games and a pool table(s) off to the side of comfy booths. More importantly, the pizza here is not the«best» but it is no doubt VERYGOOD! The crust is kinda chewy and not too thin/thick, just right. I like that the cheese is not rubber and reheats well. No shortage of toppings, just an overall really good pizza! What I love about it is that it’s not greasy at all. I’ve ordered here several times and it is consistently good eats! Looks to be ran by a one man show, an older gentleman who can probably make a pizza with his eyes closed. You can tell he takes pride in his food and establishment which makes me happy to be a patron here. He does it well, give this place a try!
