I’ve been here once back in 2010 I believe, with my boyfriend. So far it’s the only spa I’ve ever been to. I have nothing else to compare it to and I’m not really experienced with all the different types of massages there are but I hope my review can still be helpful. We did a walk-in at around 5 or 6pm on I think a Saturday and there was barely any other customers in there which was good since we didn’t have to wait. I don’t know what kind of massage we got, but it was $ 60 dollars for an hour which I thought was expensive since now I’ve looked around at other places and other places can be a bit cheaper. Anyway, I felt that the massage hurt me more than made it felt good. I remember walking out and my back was hurting like they put too much pressure on me or something. I think I was in pain. There were some moments where the massage felt good, but the biggest part I remember was walking out with my shoulder blades kind of hurting. like they were rubbing my bones too hard. Since it was my first time there, and any massage place in general, I wasn’t even sure if I was allowed to tell them that it hurt me, since I wasn’t sure that’s just how it was done or whatnot. but after reading another review here, they said that they were hurting too so I guess it’s not just me. Maybe one day I’ll come back to this place, but I think I’d like to try out some other place first. For now, this place is just OK to me.

Not Bad Clean Place. Totally in love with this spa. I stumbled upon it last fall, started taking regular classes and since then it is one of my favorite places in the world. I was practicing yoga for a little bit myself before, and i was sceptic about taking a public class, because yoga makes me feel really open and it is emotionally challenging for me. A lot of stuff comes to the surface while I am practicing. That‘s why i wasn‘t sure if I want to feel that vulnerable in public busy class. But the atmosphere of this school is genuinely healing. I met some amazing teachers, who will be my teachers for life. I like the variety of different approaches to teaching that all these teachers combine. Yes, there were some teachers whose class i wont take again but just cuz their personal style of teaching didn‘t work for me. Never tried massage there though, but my friends are praying on it. And right now i am holding in my hands Yoga Teacher Certificate. from Greenhouse holistic. I just finished my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in June. It wasn‘t easy to find a school for this. I have been to about 5 different studios in So Cal, because i wanted to be sure that I would enjoy my teacher training experience. But more important, i wanted somebody whose knowledge i wouldn‘t doubt for a second. And i had an awesome and intense experience during the training. Joyce and Rose are 2 people that are in my heart from now on. They gave us more that just study material, they shared with us a blissful feeling of being in community, in a family circle. I have always felt foreign in NYC, because I am originally Vietnamese and I moved to the US only 2 years ago. And I forgot how does it feel to be at home, at ease. These school evoked this feeling in me again. There were something that money cannot buy you(plus the tuition is super cheap comparing to other schools). so I totally advise this school for those who want to take a training course. This school is perfect for all levels of students. It is extremely important to find a good teacher for a beginner, because you are building up the foundation. If your foundation is messed up(like mine was before), your whole practice is not safe. Greenhouse teachers(Leigh, Summer, Julianna especially) will pin point you all the moment you need to know. And their instructions are always clear. Open classes are very cool too, creative and fun. Every teacher got something you wont find anywhere else. They also have the retreat in Upland, its name is Wellness, it is a beautiful big house on the river‘s bank. 2 days retreat was part of our training, and i will be definitely back there. It was like a little paradise on earth(not kidding). So peaceful. So i don‘t think you could do better that Greenhouse holistic. Totally worth to check it out. Love to you all. Vani

If you would like to have your spine broken, your nerves pinched, and would like to suffer from aches and pains for about an entire week, then feel free to come here. They have you leaving feeling completely worse then when you walked in. The women there are not licensed massage therapists and when you asked about what type of massage they are performing, they have not idea. In addition, they do not provide a full one-hour massage that you pay for. This is especially the case when one of their regular«happy-ending» customers” walk in… and trust me, it is not hard to determine who their happy-ending customers are. Do not come here. This business should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and the Health Department. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
