Great little town, shopping area to come spend some time. Lots of eateries. Come and take a stroll or meet a friend for coffee.

Downtown Glendora has numerous boutique shops and restaurants. It’s an adorable little street and completely Instagram worthy. It’s great to support local, family owned, small businesses. From what I’ve heard/knowing the owners many businesses here reinvest some of their profits in the community. As small business, a lot of places have a credit or debit card minimum for shopping. Martha’s candy is $ 5. The kitchen shop is $ 10. So remember to bring cash. Throughout the year there are some fun events held in the village. There is a the chalk festival where pros and armatures draw all over the side walk. The village stroll around Christmas time is fun with sleigh rides, hot coco, and just generally visiting with your fellow glendorans. There’s also the wine walk where you move from business to business and sample a variety of California wines.

We came here for a chalk art festival, so while we walked around checking out the drawings, we also had a chance to check out the businesses that line Glendora’s pride & joy, their«village» A few observations I made: There are a lot of hair & nail salons & spas. This led me to think the women(or men) in Glendora really know how to pamper themselves. Most of the restaurants are very old fashioned, like they haven’t been remodeled for decades… serving American food, like pancakes, hash, eggs, burgers & sandwiches… etc. A place Guy Fieri would visit for Triple D(that’s Diners, Drive-ins & Dives for all you none Food Network fans) and they all close around 3pm, even on weekends. I only noticed one coffee shop: Classic Coffee. As much as I wanted to drop in, that seems to be the only place for people to go get java, have a pastry & hang out. So during the chalk art festival, they were busy. Other than that, it’s a typical small town«main street» setting. Free parking, a quaint place for families to stroll on a nice day, and hold events like the one that drew me there. Many small towns have a similar place… Monrovia, Azusa… etc and this one doesn’t exactly stand out much. For me, unless there’s another event, there’s no reason for me to go back, but I’m confident the people who live there enjoy it.

City of diners, nail salons, and gum-drop trees. The clothing shops I stopped in are on the expensive side, but they did have some cute styles. Great place to take a little stroll and stop for eats and drinks. Plenty of parking on the main street. No limits on Sunday. So stop by for the day. This combined with the little old town of San Dimas make for a fun day exploring.

Incredibly improved over the last several years thanks to dedicated business owners and a supportive City Council. Great, relaxing place to hang out.
