Pure-N-Simple Natural Foods

I like them, and I like the owners a lot. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is for 1) not being open on Saturdays (I know it’s for religious reasons, but it’s still hard for people who can’t get their items during the week when you don’t have any weekend hours) and 2) I send people here all the time to buy things but many times (almost always), they are out of the thing I had the person come for. That frustrating. On the other hand, I realize you have to be super careful to manage your inventory and keep it fresh so that you can make enough money to sustain your business. I wish they would thus train their staff to take special orders, so every time they are out of something they offer to call when it comes in again and the client can place an order while they are there to reserve it. That would be much better.

Love this place! They carry quite a few things that you can’t get unless you drive to Saratoga. Their bulk products are actually a really great deal, they sell battenkill milk in the glass bottles, and there is a 5% discount on cash purchases!

Great shop and knowledgeable owner… but very serious! Has great selection if you know what you are dong in the natural health world! Easy to park!

a great resource for natural, organic, vegetarian and vegan products and foods.
the hours of operation are very limited and conflict with my work schedule, but it’s worth it to find the time.
lots of organic bulk items and specialty vegetarian proteins (tofurky sausages, field roast products, etc.).

Most of the items I buy here, you can’t find at Hannaford or even at the Middlebury Food Coop. They carry great products although it is hard for me to shop during their open hours.

This is like the only natural food store in Glens Falls area. It has a pretty weak selection and is a super small store. I guess it is probably better to just go to Hannaford’s and have one stop shopping.
