My sister, and Arcadia student, recently took me to Pizza Box while I was visiting. The restaurant is only a few minutes for the campus, and clearly a favorite among locals. The restaurant had a variety of pizzas on display, and they all looked delicious. They also have a pretty big menu of other items. I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap and would not order it again. The lettuce and chicken both could have been cut into smaller pieces and wrap was lacking in dressing. I also ordered the appetizer sampler– the mac and cheese bites were delicious! I also loved the free zeppolis(Italian sugar donuts). Pizza Box only accepts cash, luckily they have an ATM onsite.

Best pizza in Glenside! Only downside is no delivery and cash only.

We go here often. The free Zeppolis are a nice touch and the crust is thin but soft.

The autumn salad with grilled chicken is amazing! Everyone is so friendly, I love it there! It goes without saying that the pizza is awesome. With so many choices there’s something for everyone and the free zeppolis are addicting. YUMMMM!

Even bad pizza is good pizza right? Well not this. Ordered a large supreme, took two bites and threw it out to make a PB&J. It was by far the most discussing pizza I’ve ever had — and I’m not even sure how that’s possible. The 10 for $ 10 totinos in the grocery store is better.

Ok, came from Vancouver, BC to try their famous cheese steak sandwiches. Instantly addicted. Especially to the fillet mignon version. Tasty. Very.

Absolutely the best pizza in Glenside! I’ve had pizza from every pizzeria around, and Pizza Box just is the best. From plain to a pizza with everything it’s the best!

First time to the Pizza Box. A Wednesday night about 7PM. It was crowded, so we decided to get the pizza to go. We got the Schwarzenegger. Lotsa meat. The pizza was huge, like Arnold. Since it was just my wife and I, this pizza is good for three meals at least. This round crust pizza is not too think and not too thin. A little soft in the middle, but crusty at the edge. I give it a very good rating. I would go again. The prices seem high, b it the portions are big. You could easily feed a family of four with one pizza. The waitress was friendly and chatted us up. Nice for a first time. It is a real locals place. With the exception of a few college kids, everyone seemed to know each other. I think we stood out as newbies, but this has happened at other Glenside restaurants. Glenside is that kind of town. They know if you are not a local. You get the look. While we waited I scoped the whole menu. Very extensive with Italian and Philly themes. The special were less that $ 10 and included garlic knots and a small salad. Not bad. I would go again, but would probably order before coming. We will go again and make room in the freezer for the leftovers.

This place has the best Margarita pizza in the area. I drive over an hour to get here just for the Margarita pizza. I recommend not putting many toppings on as they can overpower the pizza flavor. They also have a very tasty Lobster Bisque soup if like Lobster Bisque soup.

Great for gourmet or regular slices. I love the«Stallone» — a stuffed cheesesteak. Just ordering it makes me feel manly. I’m always tempted to say«Yo Adrian» when I order it. Arcadia students and faculty/staff get 10% off

The best pizza in the area. Only negatives are you have to have cash and they don’t deliver. They don’t have to, I guess, since they are that good.

After hearing all the hype from Arcadia students I finally decided to give it a try. Sadly, I prefer Mario’s pizza in Chestnut Hill. The pizza at pizza box was okay. There was nothing spectacular about it though. I kept waiting for a great ounce of spice or tang from the sauce to settle in but there was nothing. In my opinion, it’s an average pizza joint that caters to college students and families. Nothing too grand but also not a waste of money. They do, however, have some really interesting pizza choices that I’m itching to try out next.

The absolute best part about Pizza Box are the amazing specialty slices — we like to go and pick out whatever looks yummy. Anything with grilled veggies is amazing, the Stallone(stuffed cheesesteak) is very tasty, and I had a shrimp slice once that still makes my mouth water. I love their tuna hoagies as well, and be sure to get the fresh(and free!) doughnuts on the counter. It’s cash only, but they have an ATM and Wawa is right down the street. They don’t deliver but they don’t need to.

Great selection of creative slices and pies. Accommodating of large groups. Offers 10% student discount. Fountain sodas always tastes like soap(been here multiple times, always the same)… maybe the rag they clean it with isn’t well rinsed

Let me get straight to the point. The pizza here is ok. Not the best but also not the worst. Upside is that this place did not give me the shits afterwards(as many pizza places do). Good place if you’re coming in a medium sized group(6 – 8) because the place seats about 30 people and it’s usually quarter to half full the times I’ve gone and especially if you’re a student because they give out student discounts. They have a lot of choices for pizza and calzones and some very interesting flavors but, like I said earlier, nothing that blew my mind. I’d only come here because someone else wanted to eat pizza here and quite honestly, would not think of this place when I want to eat pizza. Service was good. Cash only. One bathroom. Oh, they don’t wear gloves if that bothers you. Parking: Side lot Price: $ 3 per slice or $ 20 per pie Wait: 7 – 15 mins

Best pizza ever! Such a great selection of interesting pizza flavors. I go here with friends, sit outside when it’s nice. The staff is so friendly. It can get busy at lunchtime but it’s always great service. It’s just a cozy eat spot and reasonably priced, as well. If you can get the barbecue and honey mustard chicken slice — go for it! Buffalo chicken is a second favorite. Just a regular slice is great but this is the place where you can be a bit adventurous because you’ll be pressed to find something you won’t like. They have little Stromboli and Italian delicacies available, as well. Their salads are good. Seasonally, soups are available. Best kept secret: They have a hot plate of fresh sugarcoated doughnuts complimentary. I have to hold myself back from these little sinful nuggets. A lot of the pizza shops in this area have them but these are the best.
