The service here really depends on who you get scheduled with. My second visit here wasn’t as nice as my first one. I ended up with a different barber. When he was touching up the upper neck portion of my hair, he applied too much pressure with the straight razor and I left the place with some intense razor burn for the remainder of the day.

Was new to the area and looking for a Men’s salon. 18.8 fit the bill. Very courteous service. Signed up for executive membership that makes the price more reasonable. Although there was bit of surprise about what «Executive» meant. It has different levels so pay attention to the details. Was accommodated when I described the confusion.
I regularly work with Ryan for haircuts. He really pays attention to my specific asks about my hair and gets the job done. Have since taken my kids for a haircut too.
Have tried the shaving service once and loved it. Would get it more frequently at the right price though. Overall highly recommend the place!

Best mens’ haircut. Have looked for eight LONG years for a decent hair cut for my son. Ryan is a pleasant guy and does an amazing job! A meticulous artist!

I’ve come here a few times now, and definitely enjoy the overall experience. I will admit, it is extremely pricey for a simple haircut, but the stylists do take their time. I’m not sure if I’m just very minimalistic when it comes to my hair cut, but it usually takes around 30 – 45 minutes, which is nice compared to the 10 minute haircuts from the standard stores. The haircut does come with the wash before and after, which is nice, and the hot towel wrap is relaxing at the end. While I’ve never had to come back in for a touchup, they do offer walk-​ins for minor details or changes to a cut. The only reason for the 4 stars is cost — not sure why they’re hiking up the prices even more. Maybe I’m just cheaper than most, but the extra $ 7 does not seem worthwhile, unless there’s a perk I’m unaware of?
All of the stylists I’ve dealt with have been great, but special thanks to Juan. Very nice guy and did a fantastic job! Took his time and made adjustments when needed.

First time bringing my son in for a haircut here. All of the staff was extremely pleasant! His stylist did a great job on my sons hair and cut it exactly how he wanted it. I will definitely be bringing him here again!!!

I have dealt with Jessica and Ryan. Both are friendly and hard working. It’ll be hard to pick between the two in the future, but rest assured I’ll walk out with a great cut.

This place is great! Everyone is extremely friendly and the customer service was amazing. My Fiancé was recently in for a grooms day with his groomsmen and they were treated like kings! Everyone loved their haircuts and we all had an extremely good time! Thank you 18⁄8 for helping make this memory for us. I recommend guys to get their hair cuts here!

I was given an executive cut and I really enjoyed myself. The hot towel was amazing. I got a great haircut and everyone on the staff was fantastic. I was there for my friend Ozzie Nieves groom men’s party. The automosphere was so relaxed. Thank you 18⁄8 for a wonderful experience. I will recommend your salon to all my friends.

Great haircut, and complete bells and whistles service. Most relaxing 90 minutes after a very stressful week. I am coming back… Anzhelika is a good stylist, and worked with me to suggest an alternative style — that I really like.

Best haircut I’ve had since I lived in NYC! Some may say that it is a little pricey. I don’t agree but even if it is, wouldn’t you rather pay a little more for an awesome haircut instead of suffering for weeks with a bad one? They have additional services, e.g. hot stone massage, that are nice if you are into that. I would highly recommend giving it a shot. You will be happy that you did!

Very nice place to have your hair cut. It’s a bit on the pricey end, but I left feeling very relaxed and quite happy with my cut. It’s worth the extra bit because of the fact that you don’t feel weirded out by going to a salon. I don’t mind going to a women’s salon, but having one for men is quite nice.

Went to 18 – 8 today based on the couple of Unilocal reviews and was very pleased. Jessica was my stylist and did a very good job. She took her time even though of I have relatively short hair. She was personable but not overly chatty, very appreciated. Key factor, trimmed up my ears without having me to tell her. The neck trim with razor and hot towel were a nice touch. I will be back.

I really can’t see myself going to another stylist again. Keri was fantastic. I had just returned from extended travel and walked in looking like the Wild Man of Borneo. After our appointment, I felt like a billion bucks and actually worthy of my stage name: Glitch Gatsby. I’m officially a lifer. :)

Pleasant, new salon well-​appointed with a nice selection of magazines and a complimentary soft-​drink or hot beverage. Both the cashier and and the stylist were nice and prompt. I was able to make my appointment through the
website which was very convenient.
My only regret is that the regular price is not competitive with similar men’s salons in the area (specifically Sport Clips where a comparable haircut with massage and face towel is only $ 20-​$ 23).
Ironically there is a Unilocal voucher that I would have purchased for this salon, but it is for new clients only and having gone there once I am now ineligible for the promotion.

Jessica did an outstanding job cutting my hair. What an experience. This is what what a haircut should be like. If you are tired if getting butchered at the value place or smelling perms at your wife’s salon you have to try this place.
Jessica took her time and made sure that everything was perfect.
Thanks 18|8 for opening. «Us guys» finally have a great place to get a trim.
