We hired Matt for an outdoor bonfire, hosting 800 high school students. He was professional, friendly, outgoing and relaxed throughout the evening. He took care of all of the planning and offered us a variety of menu options. The cart was fantastic and the kids LOVED it! They were able to do all of the condiments themselves and the cart offered a unique experience for them. Food was hot, delicious and ample for our huge group. We will DEFINITELY use this company again!

I hired Buns Gone Wild, for my sons second birthday party. Matt was energetic friendly and professional. He arrived early and was setup and serving all bed Vienna dogs before our scheduled start time. The cart made a big impression with the kids and was a ton of fun to have around. Everyone enjoyed the hot-dogs, and the party was a hit. We will be using Matt and Buns Gone Wild again in the future.

DELICIOUS! I’ve had this place twice now. He served at a friend’s wedding and had the absolute best spicy polish I have ever had. I don’t understand what the person above means by salty onions. There wasn’t even salt on them! The pricing is reasonable too. 2 hotdogs for $ 5 and the quality is a steal. The cart is clean as well so I don’t feel like I am eating a dirty hotdog dipped in unclean water. He does weddings and parties as well so if you want some amazing food for a reasonable price book him! He does a great job and I can say it enough. GETTHESPICYPOLISH! It is fantastic

You have got to love a local business. I’ve been going to this cart for the past year, but since it’s a mobile operation, I didn’t realize that they had a site on Unilocal. The most common location for the original cart(they have two now) is outside the Walgreens at 3300 Glenview Road. Their Vienna Beef Hot Polish is delicious, and topped with some great condiments. As of the time of this writing, Jimmy will usually be working this location. They have a Facebook page at where you’ll find semi-regular updates on where you can find them when they’re on the move. This cart doesn’t sell drinks, HOWEVER, Walgreens is happy to have them there and has a huge selection of soft drinks. Perfect timing to order your polish, go get your drink, and come back just before it comes off the grill. Of course they have hot dogs too. :) I think what I like most? The cart is immaculate. You don’t want to be eating from a cart that looks sloppy. Well, that, and Matt and Jimmy are two really good guys who recognize that their a neighborhood business, selling a product that’s synonymous with Chicago.

street food vendor trend. I got the spicy polish again, grilled onions were too salty this time.
