This has been the best make-your-own pizza place I’ve been to. I have tried Blaze Pizza, Your Pie, and Mod Pizza, and this has been the best one. The service is very quick and all the ingredients are very fresh. I like getting my pizza on the artisan crust which is very thin and crispy. I also like that I can get as many toppings as I want for 8 dollars. It’s a great deal with superb quality. This is the best make-your-own pizza place I’ve been to. Everything is very fresh and is very quick.

Not a big fan of the 5 minute pizza. This place looks so much like Moes that I think the have the same owner/developer. Line backs up because you have to wait for your pizza to cook. You can’t go to the table and wait fur them to bring it to you like Noodles and Co. Spicy pepperoni, not a fan. Bring plenty of $$.

I built my own thin with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, green peppers well done and it was very good. All those extra ingredients would make this a thirty dollar pizza at a ‘regular’ pizza joint. Excellent value cause it’s one price for as many ingredients as you like. This pizza is not the oven baked like some of the other fast casual pizza places popping up all over but uses an oven more like Dominios where they slap it on a conveyer. Either way it’s good.

Decided to give this place a visit after reading some of the Unilocal reviews. I was firs confused the moment I walk through the door and even more confused after looking at the menu. I decided to save the embarrassment and go with the bbq chicken, their specialty, which was quick and delicious. Lot of space. Great. Would come here again!

My favorite new pizza location :-D I’ve been here twice now and plan to come back frequently. The pizzas are so good. I tried the Athenian and pesto chicken. The thin crust is really thin like it should be, crispy, fresh ingredients, and the sauce is so good. The employees here are also really nice. I’m surprised it’s not more busy here. Both times I was here for Saturday lunch.

It is all right build your own pizza place. I liked BBQ chicken pizza on thin crust, but CPK pizza is better. However, service is friendly, it is fast and cheap. Not bad, when you are pressed for time.

Pie Five is build your own pizza. It is assembly line style similar to MOD or if you must, Chipolte. They win hands down in assembly line management during lunch/dinner rush. And they should be efficient, they are surrounded by Astellas, Allstate, and CVS. Quality of product is high. Thin pizzas are probably best option but you all should know my feeling on «deep dish» by now. I think crust is higher quality than other chains. Toppings are fresh. Best value is the dessert pizza, pizza and drink bundle. 4 stars. However can’t return cause no cheese for me anymore :(

The employees are noticeably stingy with everything but the pizza bread, and that part of the experience needs refinement. However, the classic pan pizza itself is surprisingly filling and savory. Its also neat seeing your pizza quickly come out of the oven fully cooked, like magic!

Just got back from my second visit. My first time going here was because I got a coupon for a free pizza in the mail. It was good enough that I decided to go back and actually pay. It’s like a Subway/Chipotle for pizza. You choose your crust then sauce. Then any other ingredients. And the ingredients themselves are of good quality too. That’s often missed with a build-your-own place like this.(coughsubwaycough) Individual sized pizzas. Good for a quick lunchtime snack if you’re in a rush. And the pizzas really are done in 5 minutes. They also have an email/text club and have some good offers too. So take advantage of this place if you enjoy pizza!

Cool concept of a pie pizza. They make it right in front of you and there are many healthy options as well. Quick and Very tasty!

The pizza is fast, good and fresh. It’s nice to get the exact topping you want. The restaurant can get busy during lunch hours but seating is comfortable and the wait times are reasonable.

Instant personal pizzas. You pick the ingredients, they have a touchscreen coke machine, pizzas cook in a few mins. Clean facility, nice staff, and really feels like a nice chain we can all trust(just like adjacent naf naf grill, starbuck’s, or chipotle). If Google has a self driving car, I’m sure this place will be the proving ground for pizza-bot 2020. In a slow robot voice: cccciao bbbella

Overall they have everything. Pizza is pretty good. They have tons of options. Price is decent. Good and friendly service. They have free wifi and my favorite; freestyle coke machine. I love vanilla coke. The only reason i don’t give it 5 stars is the restroom. Don’t like to sound petty but they don’t have paper towels. i understand being environmentally friendly and conserving resources. If you are not going to have paper towels in the restroom, have a hook on the door to grab with your arm so you don’t have to touch the handle with your bare hand. There are a lot of dirty people in the world and not everyone washes their hands after using the restroom.

I’m loving all these fast casual pizza places. Having been to Blazed and Mod I was excited to learn that Pie Five had a pan option, instead of just thin crust. I really liked it. It definitely was a pan crust, not just the thin crust doubled. They were fair with the toppings, although the crust and sauce were higher quality than the toppings. I also had the turtle brownie, and that was a real knockout. Very gooey yet easy to eat, great chocolate and caramel flavor. Really everything you could want. In terms of value, this place is great. The pizza is more filling than a Chipotle burrito(a bold claim, I know), and you can bundle it with a drink and a salad or dessert for only $ 10. If I worked near here, I would definitely be coming for lunch a lot.

It’s like Chipotle but for pizza. Unlimited toppings and is made under 5 minutes. Restaurant just opened next to LA fitness and Chipotle. Mod pizza is a little better on toppings.

Stopped in on its second official open day. One size of pizza, lots of toppings to choose from. It took longer to order than it took the pizza to bake. Or so it seemed. I had a thin crust, gluten-free pie crust topped with a spicy marinara sauce, mozzarella — provolone blend, olives, bacon, onions, and sausage. You stand in a line, like Subway, and pick your crust, sauce, and toppings. The pie goes into the oven and five minutes later it’s cooked, cut, boxed, and ready to go. If you’re dining in, it’s put on a round metal tray. There’s salad and a few desserts to choose from. Staff is friendly and efficient. The concept is solid, the pizza is good, and the size of the pie is perfect for one. This place should do very well for the harried and hurried lunch crowd, drawing a lot of business from the nearby Allstate and Astella offices. It’s NOT the same quality as Lou Malnati’s, but for the price, and the speed you get your pizza, it’s above average!

Did you ever wonder whether an elementary schoolteacher’s threat about posting something important about you might end up in your«permanent record?» I think it happened to me … I believe that in some huge database in the heavens, there is a permanent record of freeloaders and cheapskates, and I must be on it because I often get invitations for freebies. I happened to get an email invitation from Pie Five Pizza Company to come to their new Glenview location to help them shake down their new store. When my wife heard about it, she put on her bib and valiantly volunteered to help them determine whether their operation was operating right. So we arrived there and had dinner at their expense! Their concept is analogous to Chipotle(see my Unilocal report on the nearby Chipotle, too) in that you go to the counter, and they assemble and bake a pizza to your specifications while you wait. They have a few standard pizza offerings; but most people design their own. You can choose the type of crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. They also offer salads and desserts. They put your order into their conveyor belt oven, and out pops your baked pizza in about 4 – 5 minutes. As far as I could tell, they only offer a 10-inch personal-sized pizza. You can eat it inside or have them box it for home consumption. The greeter, counter people, and manager all were very friendly and seemed to be concerned with customers’ satisfaction. They have lots of menus and a menu board explaining your options. Many people get very hot and bothered over pizza: they will quibble over what is the«best» and whose has the right blend and presentation. Me, I’m pretty eclectic: I can be comfortable with deep dish, New York style, or anything in between. I had a modified«Farmer’s Market» pizza, a pizza with a variety of veggies. I asked them to add a few vegetables to their standard formulation. I found it to be fine and very fresh, although a little salty for my tastes. I was satisfied. PS: This place has a weird address, and may be tricky to find. It is in the Village of Glenview in a strip of stores at the northeast corner of Willow and Sanders Roads(west of the tollway); but its post office is Northbrook, and it uses the Northbrook street numbering system. In the Glenview numbering system, it would have been about 4800 Willow Rd.
