Ehhh it’s ok. We had the eggs Benedict & chicken fried steak for breakfast. It was nothing spectacular.

Essential greasy spoon set in a diner /bar. We came for breakfast and it totally delivered. All the traditional merits of short order food. The chicken fried steak and eggs was good and the French Toast were tasty. The French Toast tastes more like fried ice cream without the ice cream. The service wasn’t overly friendly but super efficient. The diner is definitely seems to be a local haunt. I think we were the only ones that the staff didn’t know by name.

If you are ever in Glenwood, definitely come check this place out. It was a really solid breakfast. My wife is still raving about the Smoked Salmon Benedict. If you come to Glenwood and eat at your hotel or just end up going to Village Inn, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Love to cook cause I love to eat… just not here! Green chili is canned chopped green chilies with tasteless pork sprinkled in. «MoPos» potatoes undercooked and under seasoned. Coffee is flavored water. Got to be better breakfast places in Glenwood!

Great food and hospitality! Give me that grandma’s house feel. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of mopos with ham, cheese and the turkey green chilli and it was amazing!!!

First I have to say the service was horrible, our server was rude to us and seemed overwhelmed, when there was barely anyone in it. I had the shirf and turf which came with a steak I ordered it medium and got well done and burnt, the potatoes didn’t have much flavor, the rolls were dry and the fried shrimp was mostly fried breading. My friends got a burger and a chicken burger, the bread looked dry, the shredded lettuce was old and the chicken was half as small as the dry buns and the burger meat was edible… So all in all the only thing we liked is the coleslaw, fries and ranch. When we wanted to pay separately the server told us «sorry I’m taking too long, we just don’t do that here» and we had to help her calculate the cost of what each of us had.

One of my favorites for breakfast(any time of the day). I’ve only ever tried the breakfast food, so I can’t speak for anything else, but I try to time trips to Glenwood Springs around meals so I can stop here. The biscuits and gravy are my absolute favorite. It’s a little old and a little crusty, but I don’t fully trust any diner that isn’t. Friendly service and good prices round out the experience.

The best pancakes I have ever eaten in my life. Plus very friendly service and a great atmosphere. If you go there for breakfast and don’t try their pancakes you are doing yourself a disservice.

The food was pretty good with nice sized servings. The pricing is much lower than other places around which made it even better. The service was lacking. We had to ask for more coffee and water as our waitress seemed to forget that we were there.

If you looking for a greasy old burger, this is the place. Nothing fancy just a little diner. I do find it funny they have a sign that says be nice or leave but yet the staff not so friendly.

Beyond hanging with friendly locals and old time diner setup there is no reason to eat here. Food seems to come from non-brand grocery store shelf. I ordered a biscuit but received a pedestrian dinner roll that was confirmed as their biscuit accompanied by Promise margarine. Eggs over cooked, hard tasteless potato chunks. Coffee tasteless. Received wrong order in mostly empty diner. Food on floor, dirty bathroom. Normally love a good greasy spoon — how do you get breakfast so wrong and stay in business?

Ok so I wanted to like this place but nah. Cool diner but the food lacked that homemade taste with more like outtadacan taste. Pretty sure the salsa was Pace Picante and the green chili was DelMonte Diced Green Chili(hint — use jalapeños). $ 50 bucks later not my mamma’s cooking.

Stopped here for lunch yesterday while driving from Denver to San Diego. The service was good and friendly. The place was clean, a 1950’s type diner. I ordered a BLT with avocado and O-rings. The BLT was excellent, but had a bit too much mayo for me. I had forgotten to specify easy on the mayo, which was my fault, but even so, it was a bit too heavy on the mayo anyway. The O-rings were pretty standard and were tasty. I would go back again, for sure. The other food I saw go by all looked great, and they do fresh made shakes as well.

Okay. First of all, it’s an old greasy spoon. Probably been here forever, and has sassy old waitresses who have definitely been here longer than you’ve been Unilocaling. So be respectful. We sat at the bar and everything was very quick and we got our food really quick too. Felt a little pushy in fact, probably from all the reviews complaining about slow service. Anyway, I do reviews for the food. And I liked my coffee, half turkey sandwich with green chillies and the tomato soup. My boyfriend had the dish with potatoes, salsa eggs and cheese and really enjoyed it as well. I would come back for sure. Good place off the beaten path of Glenwood Springs and they have booze too. If you want something newer and fancier go downtown

Food is super good. French toast is rediculous and the pancakes are legit! The waitress is a bit nutty though as its a small town so everyone knows everyone.

Stopped here for breakfast one morning during a recent road trip. We had spent the night at the Denver Hotel in Glenwood Springs(great room) and I made a stop at 19th St diner. The older woman at the door behind the counter was a little salty, but I was hungry and not there to make friends. The waitress behind the counter was nice. I ordered a western omlette with homefries and coffee. While waiting for our food to go, we listened to some oldies and sipped some coffee. Breakfast arrived… the homefries were real potatoes cooked with onions and were delicious! Omlette was very good too. Breakfast hit the spot. I would definitely repeat if I’m ever in town again.

We were really lucky to find this place when traveling out of the Glenwood Springs. It is a small diner that delivers great food at a reasonable price. It isn’t super fancy but it hit the spot. Would we stop here again, absolutely, if we are in the mood for some greasy spoon at a great price.

We liked it here. I wouldn’t say it is the best food we’ve ever had but it’s decent and serves the purpose. The patty melt was very good. The house salad is good with carrots, cabbage tomatoes cucumbers lettuce. The hot turkey sandwich seemed decent. Service staff is efficient, and pleasant. What more can you ask for??! We had a nice day fly fishing. And hiking to the Doc Holliday cemetery. Nice views.

This is a cool little diner. All they play is 60’s music keeping with the theme. Upon entering you are greeted immediately. And this day it was a steady stream of customers so I chose to sit at the bar. And FYI their is a Rear Bar as well. I guess in the back. I ordered a Large OJ. The Full order of French toast and a side of Sausage. The French Toast seemed to be dipped in a crunchy Honey batter. Thats What Ill assume it was. Crunchy on the outside. Moist and delicious on the inside. 2 pieces of sausage on the side. And it seemed to be fresh house made sausage, by the texture and the shape. The kitchen is small. And some people complain about that. I could see a little of a wait if they really get slammed. The food is worth the wait in my book. Delicious all the way around.
