The hospitality from the man wet the front desk was awesome, their hot tub is open and we’re close to the hot springs. Cheap for a king size bed and comfortable. Not a five star hotel, a but good for a cheap getaway. I’ll definitely come back.

Clean and the staff is great. Pool, hot tub, continental breakfast. No complaints plus they have put friendly rooms which is nice. The second night we got th honeymoon suite which is what I’m posting pictures of it was great for the price.

It’s clean, it’s in a decent location, wifi works, price is reasonable– beds just ok, quiet in our room on the backside of the hotel. No luxury here, but if you are looking for an ok spot to spend a night in Glenwood, this could work. Dogs welcome for an extra fee –we did not have ours along. Breakfast disappointing with nothing fresh as far as we could tell. 2.5 stars if I could, but down to 2 after seeing the breakfast offering.

A decent, clean, dog-friendly value hotel. In-room fridge & microwave, really hot water and great shower with good water pressure.

This is a decent cheap option but not the best place I’ve stayed. We got off to an iffy start when there were some sketchy characters wandering around the parking lot, and we found someone’s leftover KFC in the mini-fridge. The room was also old-looking. But it was clean, good-sized and relatively comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was decent(they even kept it open for us when we arrived a little late). I don’t think I’d want to make an extended stay there, but it was fine as an overnight stop. Not really walkable to downtown but it’s a short drive and there are supermarkets and a park nearby.

If your vacationing on a budget then the Caravan Inn is a great option, Glenwood is a very touristy town and there are many other hotels to choose from. The thing I like about the Caravan Inn is its minutes from downtown Glenwood, but for roadies like me it was within distance to several grocery stores, fast food establishments. Close to the highway, there was a park for my dog very close by. The room was decent, I wanted one king size and ended up with two queens but thats what I get for booking off expedia instead of directly through the hotel. The hotel was fairly priced, and like I said the location is good. The Bad: Glenwood Springs is a family destination and a conservative town. In other words there were screaming kids EVERYWHERE. I even heard a little girl screaming at the top of her lungs running across the parking lot around midnight. eeechh… The pool and hot tub were always crowded and inaccessible. I know this isn’t all the motels fault, but it detracted from my relaxation. If your looking for a place to stay its not a bad choice.
